International superstar, Sean Lindsey, finds himself in a tangled web of lies, lust and love, in this scintillating conclusion to the Let Me In series from Jessica Marin.I have loved Cora Gregory since the first time I laid eyes on her. Problem is, I’m not the one she wants. My best friend is.She is pure poison, whose venom I can’t seem to flush out of my system. The only antidote comes in the … system.
The only antidote comes in the form of Isla Jones, a longtime family friend, that I used to view as a little sister.
While I have been gone conquering Hollywood, little Izzy has grown up into a beautiful woman, with a sinful mouth and curves that ignite my desire for her.
A war has started between my head and my heart, confusing me as to who I should make mine.
The woman who has tormented my heart since I was fifteen?
Or the woman who has started to haunt my dreams?
One thing is undeniable.
I’m teetering on the edge of desire, determined not to fall…instead I’m going to jump.

What an amazing series!! I am so in love! Every book in this series has been amazing, but Edge of Desire is my favorite! So many feels and so much steam! LOVED!! FIVE STARS!!
Oh. Em. Gee!!! I have been waiting for Sean’s story since I was introduced to him in Heartbreak Warefare, and Jessica did not disappoint.
What a ride of emotions and suspense… my kind of read! Sean wants to see the good in everyone, but when Cora once again manipulates him, he starts to realize that there is more in the world than her… like family friend and Cal’s nanny, Isla. The push and pull between them is delicious, both wanting it to work while outside forces work against them, eating away at the tenuous connection.
I loved having Cora’s perspective added in, it was like getting an inside view of where each character stood, seeing the them like pieces on a chess board and waiting in anticipation of what move will bring it to checkmate.
While I am sad to see this series come to an end, I’ve enjoyed each story along the way, and hope we get to see these characters in future works.
If you haven’t read Heartbreak Warefare or Perfectly Lonely, be sure to catch up on them so you can get to this sizzling end!
This series keeps getting better and better. Sean and Isla’s story is great. Isla is a nanny that Sean has been warned away from. After finally realizing that Cora is not who his heart wants he finally sees Isla in a new light. These two have such chemistry. Cora is the wicked witch who you love to hate. Will Cora finally see the light anf movr on from her obsession? This was a good read. Definitely should read the first books before this one.
This is the third book in this amazing series, and each one can be read as a standalone. Sean has loved Cora since he was a teenager; however she had her sights set on someone else. Isla is Sean’s neighbor who has had a crush on him, so she is over the moon when he finally notices her. With their friendship moving into deeper waters, Cora is playing mind games with Sean again, but Isla is determined to keep her man. This is a beautifully written story, which is sweet, loving, and with suspense and twists, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all readers.
This was an amazing I mean AMAZING story! I wish I had read the first two books because I know I would have got more of a background on one of the main characters Cora but I will be reading those other two books real soon. What I also loved about this book was that it was told from dual POV’s with another characters POV thrown in there I was thrilled because I got a different perspective from each character.
Sean my poor Sean God did I fall in love with him right away. He is everything you want in a man. He is sweet, loving, kind, and devoted. Sean has been in love with Cora since they were kids but Cora does not share the same feelings for Sean. Cora is in love with someone else. But Cora could be a wench and play games with Sean and that I did not like at all.
Isla is Sean’s neighbor and she has had a crush on Sean for forever and she wants to be with him but how can she make him notice her. As she gets older she turns out to be a gorgeous girl and finally I mean effing finally Sean notices her. Isla and Sean build this friendship that turns into more but Cora is there lurking in the background messing with Sean. But Isla thank you Jesus is determined to get her man.
Can Isla and sean build a long lasting relationship? or will Cora ruin that for them? This is a must read for all romance lovers!
Third in the series, again. haha! I’ll be headed back to the beginning, just like with all the others I’ve discovered at the end of a trilogy instead of the start! This world is lush and bright and full of intrigue. It helps that three of the main characters are good old fashioned movie stars!
Cora is a perfect villain. Cal is a great romantic hero. Sean is the sexy sidekick best friend (like it or not) and Isla is the girl next door from childhood. This group has a ton of stuff to work out between them, especially because Cora is treading some very thin sanity ice. Sean and Isla are a good match, but have some history and some issues between them to deal with. It’s a great, sexy tension-filled read watching them figure things out!
Recommended for sure – this one has lots of elements that make me smile and moves at a great pace.
I have been waiting for the fall of Cora Gregory for what feels like ages! And Jessica Marin did not disappoint. This is the first time I’ve read a book with more than two POVs and it was so interesting to get the hero and heroine AND the villain’s POV. And dear God, the villain is really a piece of work. She was so twisted and delusional, that I ALMOST felt bad for her!
I love the “family friend/ like a little sister” trope so much and Isla and Sean were so cute as they tried to navigate their new relationship. Love love loved seeing Jenna and Cal from Heartbreak Warfare and I was so happy to see them so blissfully happy and in love in this story!
Edge of Desire had drama, heat and heartbreak and I loved it so much! I don’t know if she has more planned for this universe, but I’m in!
This book is twisted! Cora has serious issues that she’s still not overcome. I have to say I’ve totally fallen in love with Sean & Cal. They are 2 wonderful men who deserves to have their happiness. This book is about a crazy woman who’s obsessed with a man & will do anything to get him.
I loved it!! Absolutely loved the ending!!
Cora! Ugh! That woman!!! I want to strangle her! I love Isla for Sean . She is so sweet and not a lying witch. I feel for Jenna and Cal with a psycho and Sean for being used. Seeing Cal and Jenna happy after their story makes me happy. And at the end the fall from
Cora made me happy about karma!
5+ stars

Woow! I can’t believe this is the end of the series. I fell in love with these amazing characters and couples; the friendship they share and brotherhood between Cal and Sean. I already miss them because I enjoyed every single minute of these books and never wanted this series to end. Like with the previous two books the writing just flowed and had me engrossed to the story from start to finish wanting to find out what happens next. It was well developed, well written and thought out. Especially loved that besides the dual POV – Sean and Isla’s point of view, Cora’s POV / insight was added to the story. I really love that the characters are complex, flawed and human which means they make mistakes and learn from them; (or at least some of them do :D).
This is Sean’s book. It’s deep, soulful, emotional and heartfelt story. It’s a rollercoaster of emotions especially for Sean who finds himself in a tangled web of lies, desire and love; and in war of head versus heart.
Sean is an international superstar – a famous actor. He is charming, easy going, loyal, down to earth guy. He has been in love with Cora since he was fifteen (or he thinks so). He must get his priorities straight and open his eyes when it comes to Cora and her intentions; move on with his life and give his heart to someone who will unconditionally love him.
Isla (or Izzy as Sean lovingly calls her – the nickname I love by the way) is Harrington’s nanny and Sean’s childhood friend. She had a crush on him and thought she was over him. Well, that changes when Sean and Isla reconnect. She is smart, funny, loveable, hardworking and independent. Isla is afraid to give her heart to Sean because she thinks their relationship will lead to heartbreak.
Sean and Isla’s love story isn’t easy but it is definitely worth the risk they took and a leap of faith. It was really great to see Sean’s transformation and growth in this book, even though he was frustrating me at times. From seeing Isla as a little sister to him starting to have real feelings for her and slowly falling for her. I loved that he didn’t give up easily on Isla and was fighting for them. They are both flawed and complex. Their chemistry, connection and pull were evident and strong. The more time they spend together the more feelings are involved. Loved the way they were getting to know each other. Sean and Isla are captivating, intense and beautiful. So happy that they got their happiness despite many obstacles, lies, deceit and heartbreaking situations.
I love the friendship between Sean and Jenna; how she is brutally honest with him and only wants him to be happy.
The friendship and brotherhood between Sean and Cal is also amazing. I loved their banter, supportiveness and how they are always there for each other.
Honestly read this series or even this book, you will not be disappointed. You will fall in love with these characters and amazing writing, plot and scenery. I can’t wait for Jessica’s future projects and books. Highly recommend it!
