As a teenager, Samantha DaSilva had two interests: running wild and messing with her posh neighbour. The neighbour moved away–the coward–but the wild kept right on going. At least it did until her hippie father vanished, leaving her in charge of the family tattoo studio. As Sam struggles to keep the business afloat her childhood nemesis returns, taller, blonder and more offensively gorgeous … than ever. As a teenager, the wildest thing Scott Sanderson did was get a crush on Sam DaSilva. When that blew up in his face he moved to London to pursue realistic goals and girls who didn’t set fire to his underwear. After unexpected circumstances pull Scott back into Sam’s orbit, and he’s shocked to discover he’s still in love with a woman who doesn’t own a phone. And who hasn’t forgiven a thing. As Sam and Scott struggle to make sense of their mutual attraction, they confront some of life’s biggest questions–can you ever really get over the past? Is it better to be safe or sorry? Is a spanking adequate punishment for putting someone virginity on eBay?

Sexy and heartfelt! I was rooting for this modern day Galahad and the wild child from start to finish.
Eve Dangerfield is one of my favorite authors. When you pick up one of her books, you know you are going to get a unique and well-writing story. That said, this one wasn’t one of my favorites of hers. The writing was great; the characters were well developed and fun. Although I did struggle with Sam a bit. She came across so immature to me at times. It also had some smokin’ sex scenes and not a lot of drama. However, I found it a bit too slow moving for my tastes. I struggled to stay interested in the story and often found myself putting it aside to do other things. It did thankfully pick up around 60%, and I enjoyed the last 40%, and the ending was super sweet and made me cry.
So although not one of my favorites by this author (ACT YOUR AGE still holds that spot), it was still an enjoyable read, and I was super intrigued by both sisters and looking forward to seeing what this author has in store for them as well!
This is a romance between a straight-laced finance guy and a social-media-phobic tattoo artist. I absolutely loved the enemies-to-lovers dynamic between the two, and as always with Eve, the book was very steamy. I love how Eve always builds in a strong emotional backstory for her heroines, and this one is no different – my only complaint is that I can’t read the novels for the heroine’s sisters yet, because they haven’t been published yet! I can’t wait for the next book, where the heroine is the straight-laced finance lady, and the hero is the stoic tattoo artist. If the glimpses I caught in “So Wild” are accurate, it will be scorching.
*A copy of this book was gifted to me from the author and I freely give my honest review*
First book from this author and I loved it it’s passionate, heartwarming and witty.
There’s no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and dialogues is plenty.
The characters is well described and there’s a lot of feelings in this story. The storyline is intriguing and I enjoyed it very much.
I like how the author hints to the relationships growing in the background of this story, I definitely want to read the next book.
Great 5 star read.
Enemies to Lovers…oh my!
So Wild is sexy, sweet, and full of trouble. I wouldn’t expect anything different from Eve Dangerfield’s characters. There’s always at least one trouble maker!
I love the pranks. I’m just glad I didn’t piss off the DaSilva girls. Brutality is in the eye of the beholder and I Samum’s eye need to be checked. It’s a good thing a certain someone feels a certain way about her…
I look forward to read the obvious potential love matches for the rest of the DaSilva clan. Silver Daughters is in good hands now.

I received a copy and voluntarily left a review and all opinions are my own.
Since opening up Degrees of Control and reading my first book by Eve Dangerfield, I have been drawn to her writing style. I love all of her character’s versions of kink and always look forward to reading more. So I was more than happy to start a new fictional adventure penned by this talented author and couldn’t wait to jump right into So Wild, the first book in her Silver’s Daughter Ink series and meet this hero and heroine that have know each other since children. It wasn’t long and I was swept away watching the pranks and the longing build between these two neighbors. Sam and Scott are full of mischief and desire that has been long overdue that I couldn’t wait to watch erupt and consume them.
Samantha DaSilva is one of the most intriguing heroines that Eve has written yet. Her desires are as dark as her ink black hair and her personality is as colorful as all the tattoos on her body. I couldn’t wait 0to experience more and more of her eccentric and wild character and revel in her ever after happiness.
She kept me laughing from beginning to end with her short tempered, vengeful pranks and I was always ready to turn the next page.
I have never met such a “posh” hero that has his own dark side that I couldn’t help but want to cozy up to and get to know better. He had me charmed from the start with his British accent and mannerisms, made me fall for him with his “wide eyed”innocent love towards Samantha, then he completely destroyed me with his sexy bedroom dominance. I was left drooling, with heart palpitations, and no signs of recovering any time soon.
Eve Dangerfield delivers a beginning to the Silver Daughters Ink series that is sure to keep readers begging for more of the crazy, whacky DaSilva sisters. I highly recommend So Wild for a ride through a crazy childhood filled with hilarious pranks, misunderstandings and first love then a chance to discover their love all over again. I cannot wait to see what Eve is going to create for us next in this series and look forward to more wild adventures…with more kink of course.
“Until you trust me, there’s nowhere we can go together that isn’t ugly.”
A filthy, sexy, and emotional start to a brand new series!
So Wild by Eve Dangerfield is book one in the new Silver Daughters Ink series. OMG! This book had everything! It touched on tropes that I crave like enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, second chance romance…I couldn’t put it down! I absolutely ADORED Scott and Sam! And don’t even get me started on the secondary characters. The whole DaSilva clan was amazing! I can’t wait for the other books! It had a great family drama aspect to it that had me rooting for more than just the budding romance. It was sexy! It was witty! It was fast-paced and insanely addicting! This is a one-sitting read that will entertain you, captivate you, and intrigue you. Sam’s just a BAD ASS and Scott is sexy, protective, and has an unexpected dirty mouth. Ugh! Now that I’m writing my thoughts down, I want to experience this love story all over again!
4.25-4.5 stars. Loved! This book was so good! Definitely one of my favorites for the year! This is Samantha and Scott’s story. They met as children living next door to each other and grew to having a pranking and antagonistic relationship with each other. They did secretly like each other, but their pranking escalates until something terrible happens to cause Scott to leave the country directly after high school. Now, it is years later and Scott has returned home. Samantha is working in father’s tattoo studio trying to keep it from going out of business. When they meet again, all of their antagonistic feelings are gone and they have matured in a way that allows them to become friends and more. They soon can see that what happened in the past was not what they thought and that they really have had strong feelings for each other for years. They must allow themselves to get over their history, open up and take a chance on love together.
So Wild was such a great, unique story. I loved both Samantha and Scott. Especially Sam. She was strong woman and while she could have come off as hard or bitchy, but she never did. They are both good, kind people despite they childhood feud. Also, they were very real, easy to identify with characters with understandable insecurities. They had very much an opposites attract vibe going on too. Sam is a tattoo artist covered with ink who has a close family relationship with her father and two sisters. Scott is more straight laced, working in finance, and has a crazy father who he is not close to and causes some problems. Their relationship begins as a slow burn and is maybe a little less kinky than some of Ms. Dangerfield’s other books, but I did not mind at all. They’re still sexy together and also sweet. Once they got together, there was not too much pushing away, either. I just loved Sam and Scott together. I loved their sense of history and how well they knew and appreciated each other. It was obvious they were meant to be together. I loved the nickname of Galahad for Scott by Sam too. It was sweet and swoony.
Besides Sam and Scott, there was so much other goodness going on in this book. I very much loved the dynamic Sam had with her sisters and the feeling of family. I really enjoyed all of the characters and I hope that Sam’s sisters get their own books too. I also loved the atmosphere of the struggling tattoo studio that Sam was trying to save and her job as a tattoo artist.
Overall, So Wild is such a good read. I can really see the growth in Ms. Dangerfield’s writing here. This is my favorite book of her’s so far. It is so well rounded and well written, as well as nice and long and juicy. I loved the depth, the realness and complicated characters. This book is definitely going on my favorites shelf. I very much hope she turns this into a series. I look forward to more from Eve in the future!
ღ There are so many things I love about this book! Love Sam sass! Love Scott protectiveness. What a great start to a new series.
Can’t wait for the next one!
This is one of those complicated, love-hate situation that went on for years
Scott Sanderson moved next door to the DaSilva’s girls (Samantha aka Sam & her twin Nico;e aka Nix- Tabby & at or around the same time their mother left them & their father to fend for themselves
It was the DaSilva’s girls against the world, but mostly against Scott Sanderson aka Galahad. The pranks they did to each other, anyone could see that they had feeling for each other… but god forbid if either one would admit they had feeling for the other one
After Galahad mother die, he went back to London, & 10 years later he back. And all those old feeling he hadn’t thought about came flooding back when his father sent him on fool’s errand to convince the DaSilva’s girls to sell
Will Scott be so lucky to convince Samantha into selling? since she so over whelmed with her father decides to take off to give his daughters time grow up & take more responsibility? He Left her with a tattoo business, but she has no clue how to run the failing business
This is his opportunity to get back at her. The only question is does Scott want to?
Samantha had kinky side & it seemed supremely unfair that her childhood nemesis, the posh boy next door, could be such a good match for her in bed.
This book had bit of everything in it… I would list them for you, but where the fun in that? I would rather prefer for you to enjoy this book on your own
Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion & my honest review
Happy Reading——-
Paulette Review
Oh, how the tattoos have changed…
My first memory of tattoos was back in the day when I worked in my family’s hardware store. Picture this…my blokey 6’ 1” dad, my English Rose and petite mum, my two sisters and I, selling paint, tools and manly man stuff. This particular day, Dad and I were working by ourselves and I think I was about 13 or 14. Dad stepped out for a minute and I was “Supervising” the store. In walks a very tall, muscly and bearded biker dude. Now, you’d think I’d be intimidated, right? Nope, I was more worried because he asked me to direct him to where the plumb bobs were. “A plumb bob, you say…umm, Sir, could you tell me what that looks like?” I step out from behind the counter and we’re on a mission. 5 minutes later, Dad walks back in and this biker has his arm on my shoulder and I’m giving him the biggest grin EVER. To say that Dad was a wee bit discombobulated is an understatement. But, I FOUND the plumb bob…and he was one of the nicest blokes I’ve ever met.
Boy, how the times have changed. Now, it’s not just the tough blokes that have tattoos. If you have a tattoo or many tattoos these days, there’s a good chance you want to share art. It’s not just naked ladies and skulls, it’s unicorns and sunshine, your babies names, a music symbol, a quote or a face that tells a story. Me, I’m not a fan of tattoos for myself, but I truly can appreciate the beauty in them. I loved that So Wild shows a little of what’s behind being a tattoo artist.
There were so many things in So Wild that I could relate to. I’m an Aussie and this book is set in Melbourne, Australia. The heroine has two sisters and so do I. The hero is a Pom and my mum is a Pom. I recognised the places, food brands and slang used. So Wild, for a little space of time was my happy place and I didn’t want it to end. Sam and Scott’s world came to life for me.
Honestly, this IS my favourite book by Eve Dangerfield and that’s saying something because I’ve loved (nearly…sorry Eve, Taunted was a little too kinky for me) everything she’s written. So Wild made me laugh until I cried. Wait until you meet Tabby. Oh my lordy, Sam’s younger sister is one of the FUNNIEST characters I’ve EVER met. She’s crass, outspoken, flighty, beautiful and a little kooky. So Wild made me cry a little too. It’s kind of emotional getting to know the characters and some of their history. Sam and Scott have known each other since they were eight, and, unfortunately, it wasn’t pretty in the beginning. We’re talking serious PRANK WARS!! You eventually get to hear the hows and whys of the war but it was still hard to witness.
This was not one of Eve’s extreme kinky, sexy books. Sure, there’s a little kink and a little sexy, but if you’ve read her other stories, this would seem almost tame in comparison. Maybe, I could have done with a wee bit more, but that was only because I really got their connection. The sexual tension was sizzling and after their first “connection”, it was obvious they were meant for each other.
I always assumed that people who wear/have tattoos are super confident. I mean, seriously, they almost have arrows pointing at them saying “LOOK AT ME”. In this case, we get to see a little deeper. Sure, there’s confidence, but it can also be a distraction from looking at the person too hard. If you look too hard you might see the vulnerabilities, frustrations and fears that the person wearing them has.
In Scott’s eyes, Sam has always been beautiful but the ten years since he’s seen her, she’s become even more beautiful. Scott is a poshy (Sam’s word for a well-spoken, smartly dressed and rich person) and it doesn’t matter to him that they’re from two different worlds. It was obvious from the beginning that he would do ANYTHING to have and to hold Sam forever and ever. Sam, well, she’s a harder nut to crack. You can tell there’s an attraction to Scott, but she’s so scared of being hurt that she buries all deeper feelings. Seeing these two come together, put a huge and goofy smile on my face.
Holy shamoly, I’ve rambled again. I WANT TO SHOUT IT TO THE ROMANCE READING WORLD – EVE DANGERFIELD IS AWESOME!!! I know I haven’t done this story justice, but, I tried, lordy, how I tried. If you haven’t tried an Eve Dangerfield, I would highly suggest giving her a go. Mind you…WARNING, WARNING…Eve Dangerfield is a wee bit crass, doesn’t hesitate to test the boundaries and swears like a bloody trooper. But, she’s FUNNY!!!! This one’s going straight to my best-of-the-bestest shelf.
I checked out this book on a whim, and then I was hooked! This is so good, I laughed out loud, I cried, I cringed, I squirmed in my seat, and I was in awe of the wonder that was Sam and Scott
Sam and Scott were neighbours when they were children, but things happened, and they ended up adversaries. It kept them connected though, and then Scott left. We get series of quick flashbacks over the years to re-visit some of the things that happened that altered them, and the effect it has on them now. All of that is set aside as the adults handled meeting again. They do talk about some things, because air needs to be cleared, but it is seamlessly woven into the current storyline
Throw in Sam’s delightful sisters, a couple of tattoo artists at the shop, and Scott’s timid assistant, and I couldn’t set the book down as they kept me entertained and enthralled as they stumbled through to their HEA. The fact that they are electric together and the chemistry between them sizzles is an added bonus that you will completely enjoy!
