Totally enjoyed this book. Read the entire series one after the other.
What an awesome conclusion to an absolutely thrilling series! I did pick the killer but only a few books before the grand finale. It was awesome watching Lizzie & Darek working through or covering up clues throughout the series. In the beginning my head was hurting trying to decipher who the killer was. These authors worked their magic into keeping the suspense alive. I don’t wish to ruin everything but with only Bay and Darek left we are running out of suspects. Then the twists are a plenty. Just loved this series…well worth all of those books.
This is an exceptional series, the Zodiac Killers, by Ali Parker and Lexy Timms who write together as W.L. Knightly. Now confession time here, I hate series. I avoid them. BUT, when I saw who the authors were I was prepared to give Capricorn a chance way back in the beginning of the year and I was hooked! As months passed by I was getting deeper in the complexities of who was murdering these men and why?? I love solving puzzles and reading mysteries [Agatha Christie got me hooked as a young 10 year old fascinated by her stories and so I enjoyed these monthly episodes and looked forward to them with relish. Derak and Lizzy are the main leads in this series trying to solve this who series of murders. Now Derak is keeping secrets from Lizzy as he knows all the men involved and is working with bay to keep secrets that could destroy both their lives. The detailed ways that they were all murdered were all different and these differences held clues about them that could help you piece together what is going on. Now I have to be honest and tell you that just reading this book alone will not be anywhere near as satisfying as if you had read the whole series, as I did, in the correct sequence. Ali and Lexy are fabulous authors who together, are amazing the way they create these gruesome, deviant and fantastic characters that the reader will meet along the way. The storylines follow through with such detail that are all important and should not be dismissed if you want to solve who is behind it all as I most certainly did. I was certainly shocked at some of the deaths and felt so sad at the ways their bodies had been mutilated but they all held a message that could be used to solve who was behind it all. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. I am now fully prepared and willing to read any series that these two writes compose for us as I was delighted with the tension, storyline and conclusion. Just as amazing series that I most definitely recommend . A Must Have Read!
Excellent series! Never saw the ending coming.
Ha! I figured out who did it at the end of the previous book but did NOT see the twists coming. Excellent series. Highly recommended. Start at the beginning and follow in order. Each story builds on the previous one with twists and turns galore. I didn’t figure out whodunnit until the next to the last book but even then there were twists I didn’t expect. The story follows a group of men that had an unforgettable summer as children. This is a definite winner. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
That creepy Ending (or is it ?) Gave me the chills .
I have enjoyed every book in the Zodiac Killer series . Each character is likable , but insane , vulnerable , Murderous and corrupt . I love how these authors were able to convince me to like and feel sorry for each of them individually within this twisted mystery thriller .As well as keep me guessing as to whom the killer really was. Even though I had a hunch all along .
I’ve enjoyed watching them pay with their lives one by one for what they have done .
I’d love to see The Zodiac Killers turned into a TV series .
Clearly this series takes the reader on the biggest rollercoaster ride of all rides with all of the twists and turns, murders, lies, loves, mayhem…and the grand finale is NO DIFFERENT…grab this if you love being kept on your toes and shocked with the paths it takes.
My mind is officially mush now that it’s over. This was a twisted, brain-bending, free-for-all emotional roller-coaster ride. It’s the answer I least wanted it to be, but it was also the one I kept coming back to. I wanted there to be more survivors of the Camp V disaster, but I suppose, all of the guilty needed to be punished. And that ‘Inception’-like ending leaves me wondering if there’s more we still don’t know.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
Exceptional end
Spoiler of the book 12
Finally the end, and what an end! I found it was still as well written, with suspense to find out who the Zodiac killer is. There are many twists, real and false clues, manipulations to the last chapter and all this has kept my attention to the end.
Without saying too much, I am very satisfied with this end because the author tended to kill the characters I liked, and I would have been disgusted at the death of some others.
From the first chapters, the foundations are laid : Darek thinks he’s starting to zone out again, Lizzy is not clear about their relationship, Max, the ex cop who obeyed the killer, is killed in prison, Raven is still in town and Bay is thirsty for revenge after Mia’s death, and all his family in law is back home, including his pregnant wife.
In short, a sacred thriller given previous books.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
