Another riveting and twisty thriller from Gibney. I just cannot get enough of the complex, quirky and unapologetically-bold Detective Inspector Lottie Parker! I never want this series to end.

Tell Nobody (Detective Lottie Parker, 5) by author Patricia Gibney is a suspenseful thriller with a lot of twists. Detective Lottie Parker has a lot going on, a dead new-born baby is found by her son, and later the body of young Mikey Driscoll is found posed with flowers around his body. Before the team can begin to search for the murderer, another body is discovered. A serial killer is at work and the bodies of the young boys had more secrets to reveal. Very Sad! There is a lot of running about before any clear answers are forthcoming, especially about Hope and the baby. I have read other books in the Lottie Parker series, and in this one, she seems more abrasive and rude to her co-workers than normal.
Also, a little personal rant… Lottie, of course living with ones’ mum Rose along with your three kids can be stressful, but really Lottie, your Mum is a person too, and she is HELPING you during your wait for your house. How Could you let yourself have an intimate moment with Ben?? Ok, rant over. Are you curious yet?

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.
This is the the 1st book I read by Patricia Gibney. From the description this book sounded really good but as I read I couldn’t get into this story & I didn’t like Lottie’s character.
So many plots that are interconnected, which aren’t realized till near the end. Gripping story which is very sad at times, but lots of love, though not shown in normal day-to-day events.
i love this whole series and cant wait for the next book!! flawed but wonderful heroine.
Suspenseful. Appealing female detective balancing work and family. Well plotted. Interesting supporting characters. A bit like Broadchurch in the sense that the community itself is a character and you come to feel part of that world.
Good but not quite as good as her other ones.
Very sad, but I just feel such empathy for the children and the adults.
Great book!
Excellent mystery!!!! I never did figure it out.
Another good read in this mystery series! Although I must confess this was not my favorite book in the series. Lottie does drive me a bit batty sometimes.
Lottie Parker can’t wait to move out from her mother’s where hon lives with her three children and her grandson. When a boy goes missing and later is found dead she has to put thoughts about her living situation to side. Then another child goes missing and Lottie finds out that her son Sean knew both of them. More and more details about the home life of the boys comes out and the police soon understands that they have to find not only a murderer but also a child molester.
Like all Lottie Parker book, this one makes me want to read more about her and her team. I highly recommend the whole series.
Bought all five. Held my attention through out every book.
Not the page turner I expected.
