A psychotic episode was the only sensible explanation for Finn’s clouded memories, battered body and lost week of time. Demons aren’t real. They don’t run adult shops or hunt students for their lust. Just because his housemate had pink hair, it didn’t make her a fae in league with the devil, or him a one in a trillion, ‘chosen one’.But it had felt so damn good to be important and desired, even if … even if it was all in Finn’s head.
Returning to the swirling, beautifully passionate madness, or checking into a psychiatric facility are his options. Whichever way he steps, life as he knows it, is over.
Stranded between two untenable options, with the sun and the temperature going down, a smiling stranger provides a temporary respite from his dilemma.
Unfortunately for Finn, demons and fae are not the only beings stalking the night for the troubled and unwary.
2nd part of Incubus, an m/m novella series. Graphic material with plenty of angst.
NOT a standalone.

Who’s possessing who?
We pick up right where we left off in Incubus Seduction. Finn is trying to figure what’s going on and Ezra isn’t helping as he’s being his normal selfish self. I wish Ezra would stop glamouring/compelling Finn so much. One would think Ezra would take more care with someone so special to him. That being said, Ezra and Finn together are so hot. They have an amazing connection and chemistry. I hope it grows into more as the series progresses.
I really want Pixie’s story and how she ended up with Ezra. Also I would like Milo’s story. He seems like he has a storied history. Plus I like his attitude. I was not expecting the ending and it will be interesting what happens next. I have a feeling it’s going to get worse for Finn before it gets better. Great suspense and world-building by Emma Jaye.
Holly shit! What was happening here was just crazy! Demons, shifters, fae and poor Finn stuck in the middle of all those hot bodies around. Emma Jaye sweeps me off my feet time after time leaving me sitting on my ass guessing what will happen next?
This series is totally not to miss. Very fresh in MM genre if you love complicated relationship and not a simple vanilla romance, cuz this is as far from vanilla as you can imagine.
Looking forward to read the next book.
Thank you, Emma Jaye, for providing me with ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Another great m/m erotica! Book two of this series does not disappoint, the only disappointing thing is work got in the way of reading! I have so many questions I need answered! These characters are so good at lying it’s hard to distinguish what’s what and it’s leaving me on the edge of my seat! On to book three!!
Wow! I did not see that coming. Emma Jaye’s strength is her ability to write such emotionally vivid stories and elicit such strong reactions from readers. I was on the edge of my seat the entire novella and didn’t know what to think. I couldn’t put it down at all.
There was much deeper character development in this one. Not just with the primary characters but secondary as well. In addition, the world building was much more detailed making it easier to connect with the entire novella.
The storyline itself shined. I went everywhere from angry to aghast to just completely throwing up my hands and recognizing I’m addicted to the series now. I need to know what happens next, I am completely captivated.
5 stars for an addictive and shocking novella!
3.5
I think this book and the previous one could have been compressed into one. So far I’m loving all the new characters and the things we’re discovering of the ones we already knew. A fair warning, this is not the case where the MC is “bad” because he didn’t wash the dishes after dinner. I’m not kidding, if you don’t like reading about characters without morality, I don’t think you’d like this series at all. And not because it’s super dark or bloodthirsty but just for the lack of “old-fashioned human morals”, as Ezra would call it, of a particular incubus.
This book takes place a week after Incubus Seduction with a very confused Finn trying to figure out what’s going on. And here it’s when Milo appears. I loved how he became Ezra’s voice of reason and created some balance in the couple’s dynamic. Though, calling Finn and Ezra a couple it’s a bit of a stretch for now. I can’t wait to read more about them together and to know how they’d sort out all their differences. It’s a short book, so there’s not much depth yet but I’m hoping for that to change in the next installments.
A canine shifter added to the equation. After the way it ended, I’m ready to dive into the next book!
In this book we are introduced to Milo a canine shifter and we learn a bit more about the world and how magic works in it. I absolutely adored Milo, he’s such an interesting character and I can’t wait to learn more about him and see him interact with Finn and Ezra again. I love Pixie too, she’s really fun. And the relationship between Finn and Ezra is fascinating. Finn tries to fight his true nature but Ezra is there to entice him. This series is addicting!
