Healing meant returning to where it all went horribly wrong years ago. For Deanna she needed to take on a new identity. For Rafe, that meant doing whatever he needed to in order to get her to speak the truth.
When danger rears its ugly head will Rafe follow his heart and protect Deanna even if it means never learning the truth? Or will Deanna sacrifice her happiness and expose it all?

The book started out strong in development and was geting interesting but kind of fell short toward the ending. Seemed too quick without backing up the story fully. Not a bad read but needed more solid ending devlopment.
great book until the last 2-3 chapters – and it was oops – time to finish this novel. grrrr. felt rather formulaic getting to the end. sigh. really great story up to that point though.
I liked this book
Good story but to much explicit sex
Graet story and very well written. Unusual characters, making it exciting story.
Loved this book
I loved this book from the very beginning. The characters were well developed and the story was original. I highly recommend this book
The story was good, but it took way too long for the relationship between Deanna and Rafe to get going. I think the first kiss wasn’t until 65-70% of the way through, but somehow they are in love by the end? Had there been more of a believable build, I would have enjoyed it more. There were also a lot of spelling and grammar errors, which could be distracting.
Wow
This was a really great book. Suspense, loss, family and a lot of love & understanding which brings a HEA.
2.5 stars. Okay ish. For 74% of book these two people were at each other throats, but from one page to the next they fall in love and bed. Sheesh. Not only were they both guilt ridden messes from a death 3 years ago-but their total self containment made them both unlikeable to me. This controlling-demanding jerk is the type that you can imagine becoming mentally abusive to a spouse. I understood why he is unattached at 42.
This book started promising, but I soon got bored with it. It was a little too predictable and a lot of the story was unbelievable to me. I finished it though, so I guess that says something.
Very predictable and very slow
