Noelle on the Run (12 Mysteries of Christmas – Book 8)
This novel is about Noelle, a sweet nurse who was jilted by her boyfriend, and Juan, a PI grieving the loss of his fiancee. She is trying to stay 1 step ahead of a murderer with Juan’s help. As the bodies pile up, will Noelle and Juan determine who the murderer is before Noelle is silenced permanently?
This inspirational story is a sweet, clean romantic suspense set during Christmas. It features wonderful characters who rely on their Christian values to guide them through adversity. However, this was my least favorite book in the boxed set. The ending felt rushed and anti-climactic. It was still worth reading, but just wasn’t up to my expectations.
3 1/2 stars
A lovely Christmas suspense read. I really enjoyed the cat character. This is the first I read in this book’s series.
What happened to Noelle’s sweet neighbor? Was her death a true accident or was there something more going on? Well, I guess you’ll just have to read this book and find out for yourself.
This book was set around the holidays, and in a town named Christmas Tyme, so you would think this would be a sweet wonderful feel-good Christmas book . . . Well, things aren’t all that it appears!
This book is full of suspense, action, and who-done-its, plus a little bit of romance. It also has a lot of God’s love mixed in.
The author, Alexa Verde, has brought us another fun, delightful, and very suspenseful story that will keep you reading until way too late in the night.
I truly enjoyed this book and had fun trying to figure out who the real bad guy was. Of course, I was totally surprised in the end!
So, if you want to read a book with a bit of suspense and mystery, along with love and romance, then this is the book you should pick up. Plus, it has some fun Christmas flair and just might put you in the holiday spirit!
I was given this book by the publisher which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
A great, easy to read Christmas mystery. I liked that two hurting people were able to work together to try to solve a murder and were also able to help each other heal. I also liked that both Noelle and Juan depended on God to help them. Timothy was also an unforgettable character. This was a great read for the Christmas season.
I received a digital copy of this book from the author and was not required to write a positive review.
A woman asks a previous private investigator to help her investigate a possible murder – and keep her safe since someone is trying to kill her. This story has so many suspects that I didn’t suspect the murderer until very close to the end. It is a very enjoyable read – and I just loved the interaction with the cat!
Noelle On The Run ( The 12 Mysteries of Christmas – Book 8 )
By; Alexa Verde
Noelle On The Run is book eight in The 12 Mysteries of Christmas series. This is a fun, fast paced, mystery, suspense, and romance. I was grabbed at the start and not let loose till the end. The story is easy to read and flows smoothly. I loved the characters Noelle and Timothy. The author weaved a story filled with Christmas romance and action that will have you on the edge of your seat trying to read faster to see what is going to happen next. There is a murder and Noelle needs help, will Timothy help her? Hold on tight for the ride of your life. I loved this story and was not disappointed.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book , but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
This story is truly inspirational. When Noelle left to see her uncle in Christmas Tyme her life is in danger. When her uncle tells her to go to Juan’s cabin for protection both of their lives will change. Juan doesn’t want to get involved with Noelles troubles, but he owes her uncle a favor. The way these two work together and help each other is wonderful. The characters in this book are very special people. You will feel God working on Juan throughout this book. I had the honor to review this book for the author for a honest review. I would give this book a higher rating than a five star review if I could.
Noelle is a yourn woman, she is a nurse, she likes chat and eat pumpkin pie and tea with her neighbor Jules Carnegie.
A day , Jules tells Noelle that her aunt was murder, then strange things happen, caution, fear, run… nice mistery love book.
