Waiting For Aegina
Book Two in The Gift Saga: The continuation of Evanthia’s Gift…
In 1961, five little girls moved into a suburban neighborhood and became inseparable, lifelong friends. They called themselves the ‘Honey Hill Girls,’ named after the street on which they lived. As teenagers they shared one another’s ambitions and dreams, secrets and heartaches. Now, more than thirty years later, they remain devoted and loyal, supporting each other through triumphs and sorrows.
Evanthia’s Gift follows the life of Sophia Giannakos. In Waiting for Aegina the saga continues from the perspectives of Sophia and her friends as the story drifts back and forth in time, filling in the gaps as the women grow to adulthood.
Naive teenage ideals are later challenged by harsh realities, as each of their lives takes unexpected turns. Now nearing their fiftieth year, Sophia, Demi, Amy, Mindy and Donna stand together through life-altering obstacles while they try to regain the lighthearted optimism of their youth.
Chasing Petalouthes
The Gift Saga concludes with the next generation coming into the forefront of the story during their tumultuous years between adolescence and adulthood.
Evvie has lived through more tragedy than a young girl should ever endure, having lost both her father and a most beloved grandmother at a young age. Her rebellious ways are her only defense to mask the ever-present pain in her heart. Closing herself off emotionally, Evvie vows to never let anyone into her heart. But will her determination to keep everyone out see her lose the only person who could heal her broken soul?
Over-achieving, focused, talented, determined to succeed. Those are the traits Stella envies in her siblings and cousins. Her insecurities and lack of confidence stunts her ability to realize her own worth. When an older, handsome young man claims her as his own, Stella believes she has finally found who she has been looking for—someone to love her enough to mold her into the best version of herself. But has she fallen in love too quickly for a man she barely knows anything about?
Chasing Petalouthes (Chasing Butterflies) is the coming of age story of two flawed, young women who push their way out from the confines of the cocoons they’d built around themselves and discover how to soar.
The Gift Saga is an homage to family, tradition, heritage, perseverance, and everlasting love in all its many forms. Love—unbinding, unbreakable, undeniable—love is eternal.

The Gift Saga Trilogy Box Set by Effie Kammenou
I enjoyed every minute of reading this series. There is so much emotion throughout this entire journey the author takes you on. These books took me on an emotional roller coaster. I felt pain, sorrow, love, loyalty, and friendship. As I read this extraordinary story I felt connected and invested in these characters. The author did an exceptional job telling this story of family and tradition and everything that comes with that. Each book touched me in its own way and flowed so well from one book to the next. I cannot express how this series has touched my soul. After reading this series I am now a fan of this author and I will be be reading these books again and other books by this author, because these one’s are that wonderful!! You must read it to experience it. I highly recommend this set, it is the kind of story that will stay with you for a long time.

I felt like I was right along side them on their journey.I loved every book and I can’t wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this box set.
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou
Four Stars
Evanthia’s Gift is the first book in the Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou. This is a beautiful story that runs through generations of a Greek American family. It is very interesting learning about the Greek culture. There was an added benefit in this book that there were Greek recipes added throughout and they sound so good, I may try a few out. The story flowed from beginning to end. The characters were believable and made you feel like you were there with the family. The story gave my emotions a run for my money, laughing one minute and crying the next. This was a truly enjoyable book and I recommend it to everyone.
Waiting for Aegina is the second book in the Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou. I especially like the continuation of the Greek cultures, customs and recipes that are sprinkled throughout this series. This book continues on with Sophie’s story and the “Honey Hill Girls”. I love the relationship these women have and how they deal with the good and bad times that happen in life. This book is full of twists and turns, it kept me turning the pages till the end.
Chasing Petalouthes is the third book in the Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou. All three books are wonderful reads following a Greek American family through two generations. The customs and Greek recipes make these books special. The women in this family are strong and self sufficient. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end and what a great storyteller Ms. Kammenou is. The descriptions are detailed and the characters are complex. I just can’t say enough good things about this series. I hope we get another book featuring Evvie and Stella. I highly recommend this book, author and series.

This series is a must read for women of all ages. I have loved and adored each book. Each one was a tender touch to your soul and each took you an amazing journey of love, self growth and independence.
Evanthia’s Gift The Gift Sage, Book One
4 out of 5 stars.
Evanthia’s Gift The Gift Sage, Book One, by Effie Kammenou is a great introduction to a fabulous multimillion, Greek American Family (which by the way when I first read that, I thought, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and spoiler..this isn’t like that…sorry) I typically would not describe many books as brimming with emotions, but this book would qualify for that. At times this book reads like a memoir, or a screenwriting for a documentary. Anastacia, one main character, is easy is love and read. She is bold and brilliant. Alexandros is very rico suave-esque, and had me laughing, while Sophia and Dean just straight up pull at your heart stings.
This boot spangs generations and the clever way this book was written allows for great passage of time, but does not allow the book to drag. This is a fantastic book and you will love every minute of it. 4 out of 5 stars.
Waiting for Aegina, The Gift Saga Book 2, by Effie Kammenou
5 out of 5 stars
This is the second book to this incredible series. This is a very emotional read and I love every minute of it. This author knows how to paint an incredible picture. This book follows five childhood friends, very similar to the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, but these are the Honey Hill Girls. These girls have been through everything together. Life tragedy, heartache, love, decisions, anything you can think of, these ladies have suffered it. Flashbacks throughout this story tells the tales that binds these middle-age women together. If you are ever lucky enough to find yourself a group a friends as thick as the Honey Hill Girls, you should hang on to them with every fiber of your being, because they will be the rock of your life foundation. Ms Kammenou will tug at your heart strings and you will cry, laugh and love. I love this series. I highly recommend reading the first book prior to this one and you will love every last minute of it.
Chasing Petalouthes, The Gift Saga Book 3 by Effie Kammenou
5 out of 5 stars
I am sad to see this series come to an end. I almost did not want to start reading because I knew it would be the beginning of the end. In this third and final book we are introduced to the beautiful Evvie and Stella, they are navigating their transition from adolescent to adult life. If you think you had it bad growing up, these ladies had to overcome some serious obstacle during their growth and exploration of life. This story was so beautifully written that it had to power to move me to tears at one point. I love a good book that when the story is so well developed, you just seamlessly fall into in and when you come out the other side, you are breathless and your eyes are misty.
This saga is amazing and you will not regret picking it up.
The Gift Saga Trilogy Box Set
By: Effie Kammenou
5 out of 5 stars
This is the box set of The Gift Saga Trilogy. It includes the stories:
Evanthia’s Gift
Waiting For Aegina
Chasing Petalouthes
I had no idea when I started reading this trilogy that the stories contained within would have the power to move me as much as they did. It has a full cast of characters that you read about. There are three different generations of family and then those that may not be blood but the bonds that tie them are just as strong. This is a story that had me at times angry, frustrated, laughing, and also in tears. There is a wide range of emotions that hit me strongly. Once I started reading the trilogy I found myself unable to break away for long. I just had to know how things worked out for the characters. You read about love, loss, family bonds, triumphs, failures, and friendships that run deep. I would have to say the Sophia and Dean would be my favorite characters. Reading about them and their part in the stories had me quickly turning pages to find out how things turn out. These stories also include times that are heartbreaking and heartwarming. One of the reasons that I love Sophia so much is her compassion. She is a strong, independent woman who loves to dance. The third book in the trilogy focuses more on the younger generation. These stories include times of celebrations, holidays, and cultural traditions. I loved the attention to detail the author provides. These are well-written books that had me spellbound. Characters feel like friends and I had a warm feeling that didn’t go away until long after I had finished reading the series. I highly recommend this trilogy. I also look forward to reading future books by the author.
5 Stars
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou is now available in one great package, all three books in this fantastic box set. I had previously read all three book and adored them, it really is such a superb series. So, when I saw this box set was now available, it was a great excuse to dive into the series and experience it all over again. And I have to say that I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time, only this time there was no wait between books. #WINNING.
The series contains theses three books:
Evanthia’s Gift: The Gift Saga Series Book #1:
4 Stars
Evanthia’s Gift is the first book in the Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou.
This story kept coming up on my book feed and I kept looking at it, but never took the plunge as I wasn’t really sure of what to expect. But after reading a few reviews and then having it recommended by a friend, I finally decided to jump in.
We watch the story unfold, meeting Anastasia Fotopoulos- and follow her journey, meeting her friends and family and the complexities that come along the way. The story spans about 50 years, so it is definitely a saga. This book did take me by surprise, because I ended up loving it so much more than I thought I would.
This book is about betrayal, heartache, single parenthood, friendship, bonds, struggles, love, secrets, acceptance, cultural divides, blending of families, family pressure, heritage, responsibility, expectation, romance, and overall- a wonderful multigenerational love story.
A story that tugged at my heartstrings.
Waiting for Aegina: The Gift Saga Series Book #2:
4 Stars
Waiting for Aegina is the second book in The Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou.
We pick up right where the Evanthia’s Gift finished off. And again, we are treated to a beautiful story that tugged on my heartstrings. The author writes beautifully, painting vivid images with her words. The details and descriptions transported me into the story and I followed along as the story transpired. This journey of friendship, connections, and love is a fitting sequel to the first book. I loved catching up with characters from the first book, as well as meeting some new ones. The characters really make this story special.
I think this book is a little more complex and dramatic than the first one. But every bit as enjoyable. The Greek culture and heritage depicted in the story adds an honest, fascinating and enlightening element to the book.
The story has a great pace, a smooth flow and is easy to read. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this awesome saga.
Chasing Petalouthes: The Gift Saga Series Book #3
5 Stars
Chasing Petalouthes (Chasing Butterflies) is the third and final book in The Gift Saga by Effie Kammenou. What a great series this has been, and what a way to bring this saga some closure. There is tragedy, flawed characters, heart ache, trying to find your place in the world- all wrapped up in this ‘next generation’ coming of age story.
The story was every bit as good as the other two, but seemed to manage to etch itself just a little deeper into my heart. This book/series has been so lovingly crafted by Ms. Kammenou. She has a really wonderful way with words, and a style that lends itself to stories that will evoke emotion in the reader.
Ms. Kammenou’s vivid imagery paints a ‘landscape’ using words, bringing this beautiful story/series to ‘life’- the story becomes so visual. The story had me so tied up in knots, emotionally, right from the beginning. I really felt for these characters and what they were, and had been though. I did wonder quite a lot through the story about what the end would have in store for them. This story/ series is wonderful, but the characters are really what makes it so special- and I have enjoyed every step of the way- heartache, happiness and all.
I think this book is my favourite of the series, Ms. Kammenou leaving the best till last! It is a little sad to think this journey is over, but I am also intrigued by what Ms. Kammenou will do next.
This series is incredibly good- full of Greek culture, family traditions, love, friendship, heartache, happiness, determination, emotion, and sooo much more all wrapped up in this captivating saga.
I really recommend this series to everyone who loves a great sweeping saga with a wonderful story, interesting and endearing characters who pull you into their tale/s, and a truly unforgettable read! You won’t be disappointed!!
Thank you, Ms. Kammenou!
This is an enjoyable series about family, heritage and love. The characters will take you on a journey through time and culture. They pulled me in right from the beginning. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that just kept getting better with every installment. The characters are connectable and relateable. They made me laugh, cry and maybe even anger at times. I highly recommend this boxset set.
I originally made the mistake of reading the last book in this trilogy first before the other two. I was a bit lost, but I did enjoy it enough to want to go back and reread the series in order. This boxed set made that a breeze to do without any wait or lag time between books. It flowed so much better for me this time and I really fell in love with the characters in each novel. These novels weave together a lot of emotions with a beautiful backdrop and characters, to create a saga that will come full circle and win a spot in your heart.
Evanthia’s Gift: Book #1;
Anastasia Fotopoulos’s journey begins in Evanthia’s Gift, and is also the first novel in The Gift Saga from Effie Kammenou. Anastasia’s story covers many different things and there is a lot of things about her that would make her relatable to many different people reading this. She faces being a single parent, changes in her life that leave her heartbroken, (and she makes you feel it too), and shares with the reader her family and friends as well as her culture and heritage.
We are really set up for a long story to be shared with us in this novel. Kind of a kick starter if you will. The story will span a lifetime which makes it that perfect saga material.
Waiting for Aegina: Book #2:
In the second book of The Gift Saga, we pick up right where we left off in book one. Again we see a lot of gorgeous imagery portrayed and another book full of emotions that will tug at your tears. There are the same set of characters with a few new ones thrown in and we get a lot more of the Greek world that we were introduced to in book one. I loved the recipes that Effie Kammenou threw in to really involve the reader, or at least gives them the option of fully immersing themselves in the culture and backdrop of this saga. I can’t wait to see how everything will come full circle for our characters in the final book.
Chasing Petalouthes: Book #3:
Chasing Petalouthes is the final book in The Gift Saga from Effie Kammenou. We get to see how everything comes together and where our favorite characters are now at this stage in life. This was my favorite book of the trilogy and truly was a great way to end things.
Petalouthes means butterflies. This is a perfect way to describe the book’s point where, Evvie and Stella are transforming from the cocoon of adolescence and into adulthood, or becoming a beautiful butterfly after overcoming the obstacles that life has handed each one.
I truly enjoyed the ups and downs the characters found themselves feeling. Each obstacle that they are to overcome creates the strong personas that they ultimately become having.
With Evvie we see a girl who has suffered immensely. When she was just a young child she faced the loss of her grandmother and father. This caused her to build up walls around herself and her heart. That is all about to change when she meets a man that will make her feel things she cannot deny. She is also working toward fulfilling her dreams and following a career that makes her happy to go to work every day.
Stella is unsure of where her life will go next. She is in search for that path to follow in life. While she is trying to find that she meets a man that she is sure will be integral on the path to happiness.
Can Stella and Evvie find happiness and transition from the awkward world of their adolescence to move on and enjoy adulthood?
I loved how many emotions this book made me feel as I was reading it. I was brought into the story even more with the recipes that Effie Kammenou has shared intermittently throughout the novel. I will definitely be trying some and I loved how this was such an interactive way to read this book.
I look forward to seeing what will come next form Effie Kammenou and will be sure to read them as well.
“Nature’s message was always there and fro us to see. It was written on the wings of butterflies.” ~Kjell Block Sandved
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou is all three amazing books wrapped up in one box. I read these books previously and re-read them when the box set came out. I just love the characters and the story. This author snagged me from page 1 and I read them all again every change I got! I was trying to stay up at night after my kids went to bed just to read these books again. This author has a way of making you jump into the book and feel like you are a part of the story. I always get sad when a story with characters I love and connected with end and this book was one of those books. If you read these, they will not disappoint. I will read anything this author writes and give this trilogy a solid 5 stars.
I went into The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou completely blind, and am SO happy that I did. I fell in love with everything in this trilogy. I loved the characters, and although some of the storylines were a bit painful – the end results were absolutely beautiful.
In Evanthia’s Gift, I fell in love with Ana and Alex. I hate what Ana had to go through, especially at such a young age, but loved how strong of a woman she became for Sophia. Some of her decisions had me wanting to go into the book and shake some sense into her. But overall – I loved her journey and where it led her to, which was to Aleix.
In Waiting For Aegina – I loved how the story was told, and how many perspectives there were. I enjoyed how we got to know the “Hone Hill Girls” and got to follow them throughout their lives. It was bittersweet to see certain lives play out. I did enjoy how the author developed all of these characters and how much she put into them.
In Chasing Petalouthes, we get to see how the next generation in this trilogy grows. It’s hard to see how individuals grow and develop. But, it’s important to allow them to try and grow. Unfortunately, with this part of the trilogy, we get to see how Evvie and Stella’s lives are affected by the decisions that they make. Again, there were times when I wanted to dive into the book and make those decisions for them. But once again, the author didn’t disappoint with her decisions.
I really liked that the entire trilogy was based on family and tradition. I enjoyed how much she tied family into each section. And even though there were times that I thought that the circumstances were overwhelming, I understood why the author made those decisions. I definitely enjoyed the entire trilogy and every single character that was introduced. This was a definite 4 Star Trilogy for me!!
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou is one series you will not be able to put down. Be prepared to be taken on an emotional roller coaster ride. You will feel all the emotions that the characters go through from pain to love and friendship. The story takes you on a journey that spans generations and takes you through the life’s journeys of the characters.
The author does an amazing job with her descriptiveness and making you feel like you are along side the characters as they go through their journeys. The characters are well developed and very believable. It was nice to read about the different customs and recipes from the Greek culture. I highly recommend The Gift Saga Trilogy.
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou is a wonderful series that is 3 books, Evanthia’s Gift, Waiting for Aegina, and Chasing Patalouthes. Spanning over year the book follow Ana, Sophie, and Evvie through life and love. The path in life these ladies take challenge them, make them grow, and in the end friendship helps them. The author did such an amazing job pulling you in and letting you almost feel like you are in the story. You feel the pain, the sorrow, the struggle, the happiness, that growing, and the love. I love that through this book you see that life is what you make it and you can have the life you want if you push for it!
The emotions I was able to feel reading all three of these books is what grabbed me and made me want more. I had such a hard time putting this down. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. I wanted to cry, I laughed, I wanted to hit the characters at some points but overall, Evvie, Sophie, and Ana are characters I won’t forget. This is the first time reading this authors work, and I will say it will not be the last!
Evanthia’s Gift
Effie Kammenou
Evanthia’s Gift by Effie Kammenou is a five star novel. I loved getting to know Anastacia throughout this novel. The trials she went through in her life were tough but she handled them like a champ. I hope that I can be like her and handle my responsibilities like she does. When she has her child, Sophia, and no husband, she is sad and lonely but hopeful that she will be able to help her daughter through life without too much trouble since her best friends live close and help her out a lot. The Greeks in New York tend to help each other out and keep in close contact with each other. Then we skip ahead several years and see Sophia as a teenager and get to experience life as she is experiencing it being a Greek American. Living a double life is hard at times but she is learning to manage with her other Greek American friends. I can’t wait to read the second book to see where life goes.
Waiting for Aegina
Effie Kammenou
Waiting for Aegina by Effie Kammenou is the second book in The Gift Saga. It is a five star novel. I like the name of the series because I feel that this author has definitely given us a gift by writing this series. She has dug deep and really delivered on a series explaining what it would be like to be a Greek immigrant. Coming to America was the option many Greeks chose when the Second World War came about. Evanthia’s Gift started out telling us the story of Anastacia. Her life was hard once she moved to the states and graduated college. She met the wrong guy and he couldn’t love her like she needed. After having Sophia, she spent time alone to figure out her life until meeting Alex. Her best friend, Soula, has always lived next door and been with her through everything. After getting married again, we start to follow Sophia’s story. This book picks up when Sophia and her best friends, the Honey Hill Girls, are nearing their fiftieth birthdays. The author masterfully takes us back and forth through time to pick up the pieces of the girls’ lives as we need the, to make sense in the story. This book is beautifully written and I cannot wait to read more from this author.
Chasing Petalouthes
Effie Kammenou
Chasing Petalouthes by Effie Kammenou is the third and final installment of the Gift Saga series and a five star novel. I have enjoyed all three of these books and I love how the series starts with a set of people and then follows them through generations. Even though this book could be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with the first one and then ending with this one. Because this series is so beautifully written, you will not be disappointed. This book focuses on Evvie and Stella. Evvie is distrustful of people. She knows she will never love another person because of the pain she has experienced already in her young life. How could she possibly let anyone else in? Her cousin Stella has none of the powerful, good qualities of her cousins and siblings but finds herself falling for an older man. Is this man the right fit for her or is she falling for him only because he is the only one interested? As these two girls come of age, you can follow their story and feel their struggles.
This wonderful series left me an emotional wreck in all of the best ways. I loved everything about each book and immediately related to the characters. The author did a beautiful job weaving these stories together flawlessly.
The Gift Saga Trilogy by Effie Kammenou is a deep and touching story. Spanning over years it follows two young women through their life’s journey. It is best to read these in order so as to get the full view of everything that happens.
These books have been well written really pull you into the emotional aspect of each story. You are taken on the same journey that each of these characters goes on. You get to experience their highs and lows, all the emotions they feel throughout. These books challenge the traditional views some families can have and sets about showing you that you can have the life you choose, whatever that life may be.
All three women, Ana, Sophie and Evvie, are interesting characters. They are each flawed in their own way and are just trying to forge a path for themselves. Friendships help to pull them through their troubles, unequivocal love helps them overcome their issues.
This whole series is definitely worth reading. The author helps to paint such a picture that it truly feels like you are there with each of them. Once you start on these books you won’t want to put them down. A great series and a great new author.
Evanthia’s Gift (The Gift Saga Book 1) by Effie Kammenou is a beautifully written old fashioned love story and is hard to put down. This book is an emotional roller coaster ride. One minute you are laughing and loving, the next will see you crying and yelling at the characters and wanting to knock some sense into them. There were alot of tears, sometimes in joy, sometimes in frustration and sometimes in heartache. I learnt so much about the Greek way of life and families and history of the war they endured.
Waiting for Aegina by Effie Kammenou is the second book to this saga and is a well crafted story and the world in which Effie has created is something you can imagine. This story pulls on a lot of emotions and is a lot more power packed and dramatic than Evanthia’s Gift and is an honest and heartfelt portrayal of a young Greek girl who is now a woman and her friends and is told by the main character’s point of view.
Chasing Petalouthes (Chasing Butterflies) is the third and final book and a great way to end the series. Tragedy and heartache, flaws warts and all as well as happiness on this journey called life whilst trying to find how you fit in and your place in the world. Effie has a way to evoke emotions in her readers with her word craft and wonderful characters. has a really wonderful way with words, and a style that lends itself to stories that will evoke emotions in the reader.
If you are looking for beautiful love stories that spans over many years, generation to generation, then this boxset is a must and so is the tissue box!
The Gift Saga Trilogy
Overall 4 stars
Evanthia’s gift
4 stars
When I first read the blurb for this story I wasn’t sure, I think it was possibly the time in which it was set. For me it was neither historical (which I love!) or present day but I am so, so glad I gave it a go. It was such a beautiful read. I fell in love with the characters straight away and I loved that there were two parts to it. It was really nice to read about two generations of families. I loved the settings for the stories especially Greece. I thought that the author did a great job with the descriptive language. I could imagine all the beautiful scenery. I loved the family and friendship ties in this story and how they supported each other through hard times. Especially for Ana in the first story and her journey into single parenthood. There were a couple of little twists in the storyline that I definitely wasn’t expecting.
The second part of the story is for the second generation of the family and Sophia, who is Ana’s daughter. I enjoyed reading her and Dean’s story. It was also nice that that nice family bond carried on throughout the story.
Waiting for Aegina
4 stars
After reading and really enjoying Evanthia’s Gift I was looking forward to reading the next book in the series – Waiting for Aegina. I have to be honest and say I think I enjoyed this book a little bit more than the first book. I loved catching up with the characters and finding out more about them, especially Sophia. Even though each chapter is generally about a different character the book is really easy to read and follow. I would definitely recommend that book 1 in the series is read first so that you can fully understand the dynamics of the characters. The author again did an amazing job describing the beautiful places that the story was set in. The overwhelming feeling I got from this story was that of friendship and loyalty. The friends were there for each when they needed to be, even after so many years.
A truly, beautifully written story that I really enjoyed. The author has a real talent for writing stories that capture your interest and make you think. I look forward to reading more from her in the future.
Chasing Petalouthes
5 stars
Yet again another absolutely beautiful story written by Effie Kammenou! I have been so fortunate to read all of the books in this series and I always enjoy every minute I read. From the beautiful descriptive language about the story settings to the wonderful characters that she has created, Ms Kammenou’s books are an absolute pleasure to read.
In this book we read about Evvie and Stella as they find their way from being adolescents to being adults. They both had overcome things in their lives and I really enjoyed reading about them as they navigated a difficult time period in their lives. I think out of all of the books in this series this one was a little more emotional, it may be my favourite out the three if I am completely honest!
I truly have enjoyed reading this series and have loved all of the beautiful words that Effie Kammenou has written, as I said before her books are truly a joy to read and I wholeheartedly recommend them!
The Gift Saga Trilogy Box Set By Effie Kammenou
5 Stars!!!!!
This is such a great trilogy. It is an emotional roller coaster the span of three Generations. The author has such a unique style that brings her characters to life.
You become one with them and you are living vicariously through them. All the emotions that they are going through you feel. I was just glued to these books from page one to the very end.
The whole series just gets better and better as they go on. You deal with loss and grief as they go through it and begin to really grow with the characters.I really
recommend this series to everyone as it is one of my top ten best. The struggles the characters go through are real and its that realness that really makes these books
relatable and refreshing. I read these from cover to cover and I will enjoy doing so again and again. If you only have time for one series this is the series you should
read. I really look forward to reading more works from this author.
