Carnivorous garden gnomes or mutant sewer monsters. Nothing is too weird for intrepid paranormal reporter Aurora North. Especially as she usually finds the logical, and deeply unparanormal, explanation for it all. When her editor asks her to check out an alleged vampire attack, Aurora is absolutely certain it’s nothing but a stunt for the university theatre production of Dracula … until she … production of Dracula … until she discovers a dead body with vampire-fang-like puncture wounds.
Whether it’s a genuine vampire attack or a hoax gone “dramatically” wrong, Aurora knows she has a fangtastic exposé on her hands. That’s if she can keep her trainee in line, dodge the handsome possible vampire and not get bitten long enough to solve the mystery … and write the story.
An Aurora North Exposé is a cross between Scooby Doo mysteries and Lois and Clark, only there’s a teenage sidekick instead of a talking dog and Aurora North doesn’t need a superhero to save her—she can save her own darn self!

I really enjoy everything Jordania writes. If you haven’t read her books you need to give them a try!
I loved this book but then again I seem to love what every Jordaina writes. She has a certain style that you never no what his going happen in one of her books but you can guarantee you will be laughing while you read.
This is the first full book outing for Aurora North, a reporter on every thing super natural. I don’t normally read vampire books as they just creep me out but I jumped at the chance to join Aurora on her adventures hunting vampires, well okay it was more solving a murder than a hunt, which was cleverly worked out.
All I can say is you have to give this book a read
Snarky reporter, saddled with teenager who reported a local college death as “by Vampire”, sets out get the truth from a wacky cast of characters. An enjoyable ride.
A great new series! Aurora North is a news reporter who has no patience for other inept reporters. She writes “interesting” articles for The Universe newspaper that might be considered paranormal, but as her boss points out, she has missed the story about vampires on the university campus. As she criticizes the poorly written story she finds out that she is to work with the inept young reporter that wrote it. As the book moves on we find out a little background on Aurora which helps us connect with her. JSR has surrounded Aurora with a small cast of supporting characters that have time to be developed in subsequent books. I enjoy JSR’s writing and I recommend this, as well as, her other books about Bridget Sway.
I received this book as an ARC and I happily review.
The author is SO funny I about fell off my chair laughing. This is a funny book that I enjoyed every page of. I am not a vampire person but this book gave me a chance to change my mind.
Aurora North is a paranormal reporter for The Universe. She has Freddy, her “killer fish” for company in her office down in the basement of the paper’s building. When her boss very abruptly slaps a student newspaper on her desk about a vampire on the loose on campus and attacking people…..well, let’s just say things could have went better. Aurora tracks down the person who wrote the story, and let’s him know what a terrible job he did and the many, many mistakes he did with it. She thinks that is the end of it and goes on about her business. She then finds a dead body behind The Full Moon club. The body has two puncture wounds on the neck. Then she gets saddled with the above mentioned student reporter, Jake, because her top boss insists. The bantering that goes on through out the book is priceless! Oh did I tell you the Detective investigating the dead girl is Aurora’s godfather? Things just keep getting better and better! The body count grows to three all with puncture wounds on the neck! You will have to read the book to find out if there is really a vampire or not. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Looking forward to the next one!
