On an alternative primitive Earth, Naylaa the healer is bound to her beautiful Unicorn Bronte. United since birth, she’s spent her life keeping him safe from hunters who would kill him for his magic. She is lucky enough to live in a town who still revere the power the original creature contains. Naylaa knows the legends that surround her birth and her bond to Bronte, and is waiting for the United … United pair that will complete their life.
When Gorvan arrives in town, a blue-eyed stranger from a faraway town, he instantly grabs Naylaa’s attention. But it is only when she discovers Seinna, his United, does Naylaa know that Gorvan is her soul mate. But Gorvan is stubborn and scared of what will become of them all if he lingers in Naylaa’s town too long. He wants to keep moving from town to town and doesn’t believe Naylaa about their need for one another.
Naylaa must make him see the truth of their Fated love…before mens greed and Gorvan’s stubbornness tears them all apart forever.

I was granted an ARC of Tamsin Baker’s “Two lovers and her Unicorn: fantasy romance” via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own merits. I cannot wait to read more from this author. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!
Until next time… Happy Reading!
This story is a whole new world for me…erotic fantasy. I have to say I really enjoyed this. It’s fairly short and perfect for an afternoon in the sun.The world is very imaginative and detailed. The characters are will-rounded and organic for the world. And who wouldn’t want their very own unicorn? Naylaa is the town healer who fate has attached to the town unicorn. They are United and to be happy have to find their fated mates in another United pair. While she waits Naylaa takes a female lover. Can she have it all? Her unicorn, her mate and her lady lover?
This is a very unique story which is the reason I fell in love with it. Other then it has really strong characters and a wonderful written story. I am so glad I read this story it is wonderful and I recommend it to everyone who loves a great story.

Two Lovers and Her Unicorn is an FFM ménage story. On the night that Naylaa is born a unicorn is also birthed into the world and she is bonded to it. This is not what her mother had wanted, but it is what Fate has decided. 23 years later, Naylaa is now an adult and a healer for her people. She is protective of her unicorn friend because there are those who would hunt and kill him for the prize that he is. Naylaa is waiting for the day when her fated mate arrives not just for her but for her beloved unicorn, Bronte, as well. When that day finally arrives they are both excited, but her mate isn’t exactly willing to accept what Fate has in store for him. He’s been through a lot, but Naylaa will do her best to show him that they are meant to be.
Two Lovers and Her Unicorn is an engaging story from start to finish. I like how the author sets the stage to establish Naylaa’s connection to her unicorn. When I first saw this book, I thought that it would be a unicorn shifter story. While this is not the case I am far from disappointed in this story. I like how there are different groups of people based on their eye colors, and how each one needs specific types of food. I found this aspect of the story unique and truly interesting. I like her friendship/relationship with Para. They are friends, but so much more as well. The steamy scenes are engaging and well written. They definitely left me wanting more.
There isn’t anything that I don’t like about this story. I kept waiting for a predictable scene to pop up, but no one showed up. I was so happy and surprised behind this. From what I’ve seen it’s not uncommon for an author to put in a predictable moment in the story that is cliché. Yes, there is an instant attraction from the characters when they first meet, but for me, the connection stems highly from the unicorns at that moment. So I honestly don’t have a problem with it.
This is a short romance ménage story with a guaranteed HEA. I enjoyed this story very much and am rating it 5 out of 5 stars. The storyline is engaging from start to finish and I enjoyed the characters. If you are a fan of Tamsin Baker then I highly recommend this book to you. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

This was a very interesting book. Was much different them most books I have read recently. I really enjoyed the unicorn in the book. I also enjoy the fact that in this alternate Earth there is a belief that you can be bonded to a Unicorn if you are born at the same time they are and that you are also mated to another human who is bonded with another Unicorn. When Naylaa finally meets her fated mate he does not believe in it and wants to move on.
This book was well written and the author’s mind really keeps the alternate Earth and fantasy world interesting and makes you want to keep reading. This was a pretty quick read and you will really enjoy it. Just know that this is intended for adults.

I enjoyed this book. It wasnt War and Peace, nor was it a great literary tome. What it was however, was a nice read. There was only one sexy scene with all three lovers and I was expecting more from the title alone.
I received an arc of this book.

Two Lovers and Her Unicorn by: Tasmin Baker
Naylaa had an ominous, but blessed birth. Born during a raging storm, the only child in her village meant to be United to a Unicorn. The only Magical Creature left in her land. She is left to live a life of loneliness until she finds the other Bonded pair. Her true soul mate. So that Bronte, her Unicorn, can find his. And the rains can return to her town. But in the meantime. Naylaa does have her lover Para to fulfill her other desires. Her dreams and yearnings, what passions her missing mate cannot meet for her. At least until he comes along. And come along He does, even with a Mate for Bronte. But in a form of a man that does not want to settle down. Not until his Unicorn Sienna finds Bronte enough of a Mate for herself that is. Then the three lovers; Naylaa, Para, and Gotham find the true love that they have all been looking for. But can the town harbour the Mating of such two powerful Creatures such as these two Unicorns?
If a child is born at the same moment as a unicorn, then they are united and share a special bond. Naaya is one such child and later woman. She dreams offinding her fated mate, a man, who is united with a unicorn the same way she is.
When she finally meets him she is shocked to find he does not believe in fated mates and plans to move on.
A love story woven around fated bonds to mystical animals as well as humans. In my opinion too many sex scenes, not enough character description.

This is a great story. As usual, Tamsin Baker has created a world with wonderful characters. Naylaa and Gorvan are destined to be together, but she must convince Gorvan. Bronte and Seinna are their United unicorns and they will give their lives to save them. This is definitely a five star for me.
