RhiannonThe high-walled mansion seems almost impenetrable. My contact talks of one man and up to 100 women behind those walls. It could be the trafficking of sex slaves, some twisted sex cult, or even a brothel.Either way, uncovering criminals in the trade of women is my job – my life.I want the scoop – want to expose this one man’s terrible secrets and nail his sorry ass.SebastianI rescue them. … ass.
Sebastian
I rescue them. Save them. Look after them.
I give them what they desire. What they need to live a happy life.
But this time around it’s about my desire. About what I need.
I know who she is. I know everything about her.
And she’s coming for me.

This is my third book by this author, and all his characters, so far, are flawed in some way. Either emotionally, or physically, or both. And these flaws cause them to do things, or not, that they think will allow them to dismiss that frailty. Rhiannon, or Rann, as she prefers to be called, is a covert agent, sniffing out villains involved in human trafficking. She has sometimes had to play the role of the “human” and has suffered many indignities. Her next assignment sends her to spy on Sebastian Kraken, thinking that he too is involved in human trafficking because his thirty-two acres house women who seem to be subservient to him. But Sebastian has his own ghosts to conceal. He is aware of Rann’s snooping and sets a trap that draws her in. He makes a pact with her to live in his compound to which she is agreeable because it will allow her to learn his secrets. Although he has set his sights on Rann, he has no problem using his male prowess to reward his girls for a job well done. And many rewards there are!
I am always so anxious when I start to read one of James Crow’s books, but edgy in a good way. My fingers tingle as they flip the pages, my heart’s speed increases, and my eyes widen when I read the juicy parts, so deliciously scrumptious that I am surprised my saliva doesn’t drool down the side of my face as I oo and ah. Awe—I am in awe of this author. I am a yappy wee broad, but I am sure that if I ever met him, I would be struck dumb! But words are not something that James Crow lacks. I thought I knew everything about sex, but it seems I do not. There are so many depravities in this book that it bamboozles me. Sebastian is one man living with sixty-some-odd women, and he, at some time, has to service them all. He certainly doesn’t have to worry about a gym to get his exercise. Rann refers to these women as nymphomaniacs because it seems everywhere she turns she sees them either with each other or with vegetables, cucumbers being their favourite. And Rann’s new friend, Tilly, is very descriptive with her language as she relates past situations where Sebastian has been the ‘giver,’ and one of the girls has been the ‘receiver’. There is always a celebration of some kind where Sebastian ‘gifts’ one of his girls with his ‘presents.’
Crow is an exceedingly descriptive writer. His description when Rann enters the grand hall is almost magical as he details the tapestries and the sofas allowing Rann to imagine what kind of orgies and depravities take place there. And, his voice as Tilly, uses more sizzling language to describe how Seb is the main attraction as he uses his body to arouse and satisfy his girls. I love how Crow’s word choice is so cheeky, so appealing, each page giving me more of his brazen speech pattern. When you read a book by James Crow, you don’t only see it with your eyes. You inhale each word, you feel each experience, you become part of the book.
I loved this book. It kept me guessing. I had no idea where the story was going to go. Rhiannon works for a special agency that takes down bad guys. As a victim herself she loves to take down and make those who are unjust pay, but lawfully. She thinks Sebastian and his secretive property are just like the others. But there is so much Rhiannon doesn’t know. Soon she finds herself breaking in and getting caught. Sebastian has been watching her and wants her. He offers her to stay for a week and if she wants to leave, she can. Rhiannon soon learns all she thought about him and the women who are at his beck and call was totally wrong. She starts to understand more and realizes this assignment isn’t like any she has been on before. Sebastian knows Rhiannon’s story and he feels connected to her because of his own. He has real feelings for her. He just has to show her he isn’t the monster she thinks he is. This book had my heart. I found myself crying for the pain the victims in this story went through. Don’t worry, there is justice. And can we talk about steamy scenes. Wow! Just when you think they’ve done it all, there is something new thrown in. All I’ll say is I can’t look at cucumbers the same. This is a great dark romance. A must read if you are okay with abuse triggers and lots of steamy (non abusive) scenes. This author wrote an erotic story that didn’t get lost in descriptive scenes.
This is the first book I’ve read from this author. I know him by reputation only. He’s known for writing dark and dirty books. And you’d think I’d have known what I was getting into by the title. That was definitely not the case.
THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR ANYONE UNDER 18! There is A LOT of steamy, very descriptive sex scenes. However, the author is so good that he managed to tie all the sex into the storyline! And there was DEFINITELY a storyline. A really good one too.
The chemistry between Rann and Seb is almost instantaneous, though Rann was rather reluctant to admit it. I loved their back and forth, that push and pull. Though the pushing was really only from Rann. LOL. There were plenty of other fun characters too, characters that I wish I could know more about.
This story had me hooked from page one. It was intriguing, it kept me guessing with every page. I was reading this a chapter at a time with a friend of mine (our own little book club of sorts) and it was SO hard to stop after only a chapter. I wanted to keep going, to find out what happened and what was going on.
Amazing book! 5 out of 5 stars!
Seb is definitely one filthy man!! I love James writing style. If you like really dirty, funny, and witty banter and relations then you will love this author!
One Filthy Man was sinfully sensational! James Crow once again takes his characters to the MAX, pushing boundaries so far out of one’s comfort zone, leaving you breathless and craving for more.
Five Sinful Stars…Five Tantalizing Cucumbers…Five Fabulously Filthy Stars!
I enjoyed most of this. Some was a little hard to swallow, but it’s still a hot read when needed. I love how it all fell together. Wonderful characters. Love his books and the way he writes
This book has many storylines twisted together that it keeps you on your toes, wanting to see where the book will take you. It’s not for the faint hearted but well worth the read.
If you are looking for just a filth filled book full of sexual debauchery then you have sorely underestimated James Crow. This book is more than steamy sex scenes, but there are plenty to be had, it is a gripping story filled with mystery and intrigue. Just when you think you know what’s going on and you know what’s coming next you get thrown for a loop. The saying that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover is never more prevalent than with One Filthy Man. And even though Sebastian Kraken is quite filthy he is so much more than that. He is beautifully complicated and complex man who will have your heart swooning and your panties dripping. The main female character, Rann, is a stong, sassy, take no bs type of woman. There are so many characters to love in this book and each one is different and full of life. Honestly I picked up this book expecting one thing, but I got so much more. I will say one thing, this is one HAF read that will have you wanting more. James Crow proves that he is more than just the king of kink, he is a master story teller. A definite must read book of 2018. #2018MustRead
There are only a handful of authors that i trust to one click without reading the blurb, James is one of those authors. Each book he has written has been so different to one another but they all have one theme in common, they are all deliciously wicked! Not only is the book hot as hell with plenty of kink but the story takes you to a deeper level, drama, intrigue and twists you won’t see coming. James is a gifted writer who is able to grab your attention right from the start and put you through the wringer so you feel every emotion that the characters do. I eagerly await to see what comes next.
I absolutely loved this book, I am a huge fan of this author and it always excites me to see a new book. This book definelty did not dissapoint, it’s filthy, sexy and interesting but it was so much more. At times it was humorous and it was emotional, heart warming and original. I loved this book from start to finish and I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Rann and Sebastian develop and grow. The characters in this book are brilliant and I also have got to say it is extra cool that some of the charcaters are based from people in James’s reader group, it really adds to the fun of this story. If you a fan of James Crow you are going to love this book but even if you are new to this author I would highly reccomend giving this book a read.
Life isn’t all it seems at the mysterious mansion where Rann is sent undercover to investigate its owner, the equally mysterious Sebastian Kraken. James Crow has a special way with words and there’s no doubt about it, One Filthy Man is a fitting title. There is more to Sebastian than meets the eye though. This memorable story had me flicking through the pages with speed as my mind was captured by the wicked, dirty and sometimes deep and dark, emotional heart-breaking plot. Clues are expertly placed allowing the reader to try and crack the mystery but in true James Crow style , the twists will leave you speechless! Five well deserved stars for this phenomenal story!
MASSIVE 5 STARS FROM ME
If you have read this author before you will know he likes to push those kinky limits and One Filthy Man will not disappoint you in the sexual hot scenes department, alongside all the filthy kink is a gripping storyline, the twists and secrets revealed will leave you breathless.
Sebastian Kraken is known and judged wrongly by many but will the undercover sexy Rhiannon Hall get the scoop she is hoping for are will she discover so much more to this mysterious man and still be able to walk away untouched!.
A gripping hot read for lovers of erotica, containing kinky scenes, secrets, twists and a cute but butt ugly dog!
very original, but what else do you expect from Mr. Crow. this story is not what I expected its to be.
One Filthy Man is unlike any book I’ve ever read from any other Author. It has all the classic mastery that only James Crow can perfect IMO.. kink at its best with solid characters and an unusual but scintillating storyline. In my opinion.. This is the best book I have read by this author and have no problem giving 5 stars.. highly recommended.
This author writes some twisted books, but this is his best one yet and I actually enjoyed it. It’s like a cult, mystery and suspense rolled into one. There’s some sex in it but it’s not disgusting sex and the entire plot of the story was interesting. I liked how the story came together and how it ended.
This is a book you want to read.
First, let me say that having read this author before I know to expect kinky debauchery and look forward to every word of it!
Now, with that being said…I did not expect to feel the emotions James Crow pulled out of me!
Sebastian Kraken aka Seb and his girls will definitely melt some panties! Prepare yourself though, cuz there are secrets and horrors from the past that threaten to tear away any hope of possible happiness.
This story is brilliantly written and is
another excellent read by this author.
I highly recommend and give would give more than 5 filthy stars if i could!
This book is deliciously twisted and phenomenal. In fact, it is so great that it’s taken me two days and several rough drafts to even review. I still feel I haven’t found the words to do this book justice. It is a book that will take a reader on an emotional journey and questioning every second.
There are no words that can describe the character development adequately. It is intense and James Crow succeeds not only on character development for the main characters but the entire cast. That ability far exceeds many other novels I’ve read. The world building is extremely detailed, to the point I couldn’t step away.
Most of all, the author succeeds at weaving a story that held me hostage, wouldn’t let go and left me unable to read anything else. I’m an enormous fan of twisted books and this far exceeded my expectations. The only part I’m sad about is that I didn’t read it sooner! It is an absolutely masterful piece that I already jumped in and reread because I can’t let it go.
5 Stars for a completely twisted, question-it-all, masterful book! Highly recommend!
