Sorority Secrets: The virgins of Beta Kappa Nu would do anything for each other. Even auction off their most valuable asset… Graduate high school early? Check. Valedictorian? Check. Voice of reason? Um… Caroline Littrell might be the baby of Beta Kappa Nu, but she’s also the brains. When her sisters concoct the ridiculous idea to auction off their virginity for charity, she’s adamantly … virginity for charity, she’s adamantly against it…a promise is a promise, but quiet, Ybersmart Caroline has a backup plan.
All she has to do is track down Mathewson Jameson–campus legend, local rock god, total jerk–and convince him to play a charity concert for them instead.
The problem? Mathewson isn’t quite the jerk Caroline imagined. In fact, he’s quite the opposite: patient, giving, gentle. And the only one she wants to be with, first time or forever…

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Caroline is part of the sorority that is holding an auction for the girls virtue. Caroline doesn’t want anything to do with the auction so she is going to get the popular campus band to play a benefit concert instead. That doesn’t go to well when she get a return email from the lead singer that is also a rejection.
Matt “Mathewson” James is having a great time in college. He is the lead singer in a band, has a sexy girl in one of his classes he wants to get to know better and record labels a showing up at their concerts. What could be better? Not the email from the sorority wanting them to do a charity concert when the girls are auctioning off their bodies.
Caroline walks in to where the band is practicing and she can’t believe her eyes, it’s the guy from her class she dreams about. As Caroline and Matt spend more time together, they realize they are made for each other.
Will Matt and the band do the benefit? What happens to their relationship if the record label makes them a deal? Will Caroline have to auction herself off just to save face with the sorority?
This is a first for me from this author and I enjoyed this story. I loved Caroline and Matt and the way they met. I am looking forward to reading more in this short story series.

“He’s a campus rock star—and I’m just me.”
Star Crossed is a short sweet and dirty taste of a new-to-me author that continues the Sorority Secrets series. I admit that the rockstar aspect really turned me on, I can’t resist a rocker and neither could Caroline apparently. But not because he’s in a band, she met him in class and crushed on him without knowing about his extracurricular activities on stage.
I enjoyed this tale, it was a bit of a steamy fairytale, but entertaining nevertheless. It’s every college girl’s fantasy I’m sure. With each installment being written by a different author they share a single theme, the ‘virgin auction’, but that’s about all. Each writing style has its own flavor and some have more emotion than others, but they are all sexy.
This entire Series is an excellent read the story of Caroline and Matthewson – it’s sweet, caring and sexy. Caroline is conflicted in Auctioning her “virginity” like the rest of her Sorority Sisters, even if it is for a worthy cause. Matthewson James is in her Econ 101 class and always been very attracted to her. What Caroline doesn’t know that Matthewson the man she has crushed overall year is the lead singer in the band she wants to do a charity event instead of having the auction. Will everything works out for them? You have to read it to find out. Great book!
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) This is another short installment in the Sorority Secrets series.. We meet Caroline who is one of the sorority sisters who is auctioning off her virginity, even thought she is not one. She is afraid that they will kick her off of sorority if she admits that she lied to get in, knowing that her family would be upset and she also doesn’t want them not to trust her. She decides that she will get a college band to play a charity concert and make enough money that they wont have to go thru auction. When she reaches out to band the lead singer is a jerk and she decides to go personally and it turns out that the lead singer is the hottie that she has been crushing on. When Matt sees that it is Caroline that is asking things change since he has wanted her from the very beginning.

Caroline has a tiny problem. She and her sisters are auctioning off their v-cards to raise money for her sorority sister’s brother’s medical bills and to rebuild a rescue shelter. Sounds all good but for the fact that her v-card is already gone. Oops. So an alternative plan must be hatched. So off to email the local rock god to plead for his help. Matt sends a pretty hostile reply back but Caroline isn’t deterred. What happens, though, when Matt is Matthewson, the guy she’s been crushing on in class? The guy who isn’t like the jerk who replied so scathingly?
This is probably my least favorite of this series, but it still delivers what was promised – it’s dirty for sure, and short. Not particularly sweet, but definitely dirty. Probably has the most gratuitous scenes in the whole series, a bit much for my tastes. But it’s still entertaining and short enough to read in an hour or two depending upon what else you’ve got going on. I’m going to miss this series!
This quick read is steamy and sweet. The cute and fun plot entertains you well. I loved the chemistry between Caroline and Matt, they made such an awesome couple. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a longer length for additional content, details and complexities. A very good read! This is my totally voluntary, honest review.

Caroline is between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, she has a sorority that is auctioning off their virginity to help gain funds for one of their sister’s brother who was severely burned in a fire. They are also hoping to help a local animal shelter that the same fire destroyed. The problem? She is no longer a virgin.
Star Crossed by Heather Stone is hot and heavy. It is also the first book I read by this author. I definitely enjoyed reading this book but found that there was no real conflict between this couple to overcome. Everything was all too easily brushed aside. This probably due to the fact that it is a novella.
Even without the conflict, this is was a sexy and entertaining read. Recommended for those who love a simmering read with a HEA.
The final installment of the Sorority Secrets series, Star Crossed is a rock star romance. A little taste of another popular genre. I feel it had a lot of potential but it doesn’t seem to make it past a one dimensional story. As much as I wanted to care about the characters, nothing made me become attached to them.
Another thrilling novella from the Sorority Secrets series, this short story is a quick and enjoyable read, that’s easily completed in one sitting.
Quite honestly, the synopsis tells you more than enough, so I won’t add much more. I love going in knowing as little as possible.
What I will say, is that this little tidbit is well written and certainly kept me entertained.
The characters are well developed for a novella and easily draw you into their tale.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and highly recommend it to anyone with an afternoon to kill.
Star crossed was a quick read, fast paced with plenary of heat. Caroline and Matt were likable enough characters.
My least favourite of the Sorority Secrets so far. As in previous novellas we follow Beta Kappa Nu as the sisters decide to auction off their virginity for charity. Star Crossed follows Caroline Littrell as she second guesses giving up her so called ‘virginity’ for charity, especially when she discovers that her super hot crush and classmate Mathewson Jameson also has feelings for her. Matt it seems is also a rock god on Campus (not that nerdy Caroline knew anything about that) and once he discovers what Caroline is about to do, he steps in to help, he doesn’t want anyone else touching what’s his. The story was very clichéd, which I don’t mind, but I did find it was all about the sex, I felt that scenes were written into the story that were totally unnecessary. It was a short story, but I would have liked to know more about the characters (who I loved), and less about their dirty minds. Not really the book for me I’m afraid. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
She is exactly the girl for him, the one that likes him for different reasons than anyone else. But too bad it will be a little harder for him to save the girl from the impending auction. The good thing about this story is that the problem solving is not the usual. Bidding the highest amount is not an option so Mathewson and Caroline need to get creative because there is not a chance in the world some other guy will be putting his hands on her. Who knows, maybe all they need is a backbone and stand their ground. Or maybe a little negotiation will help out…
This one was sweet and steamy. It was cute how much Matt was in awe of Caroline. I liked there was really no angst and very low drama, just straight up good story. Another great addition to this quick and dirty series.
