Cute I enjoyed the story Multidate is a show that makes me think of the bachelor and real world and big brother all rolled into one. The story is more about the behind the scenes of a reality show than the reality show it self.
The story was interesting and the characters well developed and likeable. The story moved at a good pace and didn’t have a saggy middle. There was an unexpected twist with a lesson towards the end of the book about people not being what they pretend to be. That’s a lesson I always need to re-learn.
A quick read with an easy attitude
Lauren the superfan stumbles into the world of reality tv; can she handle the pressure and find love at the same time!

An easy, breezy, sunny story in the best of chick lit tradition. The romantic component is not steamy, but I don’t think heat is always necessary for a satisfying romance. The heroine is a sweetie, kind, vulnerable and somehow always able to pick herself up after a career or emotional setback, and, thanks to her attitude, find her way to something better.
Heroine Lauren and her handsome roomie Finn were my favorites, but author Kirsty McManus created a great crew of characters, each with a distinct personality and point of view. I am not fond of stories with lots of secondary characters that are easy to confuse. McManus knows how to keep the number manageable and their personality quirks distinct and memorable, from the ambitious salesman Cam to best bud Jules to hyper aggressive producer Ariel…
The contestants on the reality dating show don’t feature as prominently as I expected, but Lauren’s story was more than enough to grab me and hold me beginning to end. I really was sorry to reach the end, though it was a totally yummy way to go!
This is the third of McManus’ novels I’ve read and I LOVED them all. The fact that this one was mostly set in Australia, a location I love to read about, was just an added bonus. 🙂
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Entertaining chic li story about a young woman who unexpectedly gets a chance to work on her favorite reality TV show and discovers that the reality is very different from the Image
This book was not one of my favorites. It was Ok. It was well written but didn’t really love the characters or the reality storyline. It really didnt engage me.
Thoroughly enjoyable book!
Great characters and fun to read with some depth. It’s a page turner, light, and enjoyable! If you’re looking for a light romance, this one Is fun.
Enjoyed writing style. Smooth, easy to read, funny at times. Perfect characterization of a 23-year old woman.
Didn’t finish it
I’m still reading this one, and have a hard time putting it down! The characters are likeable, and I’m looking forward to reading more.
I liked this book!
I was immersed in in this story right from the beginning. The story was inspirational, funny and romantic. What more can you ask for in a book? Having visited Sydney I found the descriptions to be spot on which further enhanced my enjoyment of the book. Shame there weren’t so many good looking guys around when I visited. If you’re looking for a great beach or holiday read, grab yourself a copy.
