I love where this series is headed. It has become much more paranormal in the second book, which only helps make this story more interesting. I love the addition of some real life history mixed in, it makes this so much more believable.
Sometimes second books feel like bridge books, not adding a lot of content, just bridging the first and second book together. This isn’t the case for Raven’s Ghost. I think the addition of more paranormal aspects and real life history gave this enough content to stand on its own.
I like that we were able to learn a bit more about Tom and Emmett. We got glimpses of them in Raven’s Sight, but we learn more about them this time around.
I’m still really enjoying the first person, present tense POV. I like being inside Raven’s head in real time. It really draws you in and keeps you interested the entire time.
This series has me hooked, and I flew through both books. My only complaint is that this time around the story felt shorter. I just wanted more. I guess that isn’t really a complaint though. I just can’t wait for the next book!
Raven’s Ghost by R. L. Weeks is a wonderful story that I read. This is book number two in this wonderful series that I fell in love with. I has mystery and ghosts in this story and I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves them.

This is book two in Raven’s Shadows series and the series gets better and better. In this book Raven’s uncle is killing blond haired, blue eyed women and Raven wants to stop him but there’s one problem Raven is a ghost. This is a well written mystery with interesting characters and twists that had me hooked from the first page until the last in one sitting.
I am so impressed with this book. It begins 2 years after the first book ends. Raven is trying to help women who are being murdered while she is a ghost. Emmett and Tom return and we are introduced to new characters, both good and evil. Vampires, ghosts and the shadowmen are also part of this intriguing story. I don’t want to say too much about the book because everyone needs to read this. You will not be disappointed. I read this in one sitting and I felt a whole gamut of emotions. Anger, fear, love of some of the characters and hatred of others. Such a great book in a great series. I need more.

Though part of a gut wrenching series, this book provide plenty of background into the earlier life and adventures, or misadventures and death, of Raven.
In short, birth father very dark, grandparents tried to raise her in the light, unknown demon inside, lots of bad stuff happened and she tries to put at least some of it right.
Sadly, for at least some of those she cares for, unexpected darkness intervenes, and insidious trickery by others seduces some powers of light to error – this is a strong danger of being repeated.
Most types of love are damaged, perverted and twisted, and great power is present, at great cost, with dark and dangerous twists.
If you are looking to read a mouse land story, a happy ending transformation, or a steamy vampire tale, you made the wrong selection.
This is a story that involves darkness, and a protagonist or two with enough awareness and light to feel sad, guilty, or angry.

Wow!
What a wonderful Book!
Raven’s Ghost had me on the edge. This book begins two years after Raven’s Sight.
I don’t want to say to much because I don’t want to spoil this book with to many details. What I can say is that you will not be bored with this book.
There are ghosts, shadow people, seers and vampires.
Raven has grown and has matured within the last two years. She has learned and accepted the dark secrets that were uncovered.
We meet new characters and see Tom and Emmett still fighting for the affection of Raven. Her heart is torn and she comes to terms with her decision about her heart and her revenge.
I read this book with 3 hours since I needed to know what was going to happen next.
Bravo R.L. Weeks
Interesting from start to finish and a new prospective on Jack the Ripper. There’s darkness and witches and seers and vampires (my favorite!) I definitely recommend this book and now I’m on to book 3 Raven’s Heart! Enjoy!!
Wow! Got through this rather quick. Lol. Very good and explains a little more about her powers and it really triggers with her emotions. I hope she finds her heart and see where she should be.
