Love is a risk. Roman wasn’t willing to take those odds, until now. A beautiful stranger overheard telling the desk clerk she’s on her honeymoon alone, arouses something in him. Something primal. Something protective. He finds himself doing and saying things he swore he never would again in an effort to understand the pain in Aria’s sensual eyes. His scars are so deep, they may never heal. His … deep, they may never heal.
His need for control is ingrained.
His desire for her is unparalleled.
The challenge of winning her may be the biggest risk of all.
Him and I is book #1 in a duet, it is a full-length novel with no cliffhanger and a HEA, although you will be able to read more about Roman and Aria’s lives in book #2 coming soon!

A great beginning to a fabulous duet.
I was so sad at first for Aria, no one wants to have bad news delivered about their fiance. She rallies though and meets Roman.
They have a whirlwind romance that also includes some stupidity on Romans part.
I loved these two, I loved their dynamic. I loved how she was so free and independent and he so controlling. I love that he loved her for her and he never tried to change her other than get her to move in with him and see that everything he ever did was always for her own best interest.
I was thankful to have been able to read the duet with no waiting for book 2.
This was a great read and I highly encourage everyone to read the books.
HIM & I by Melody Eve is the story of Roman and Aria.
I think this is the first book by this author and I hope that it will be one of many to come.
I really enjoyed this story!!
Aria was in a long term relationship but just before the marriage she was sent pictures of her future husband and her best friend doing things they shouldn’t have been doing. So she waited until the wedding day to get her revenge…then she went on the honeymoon alone.
There she happens to meet Roman in the hallway and he tries to get her to go out with him but she tries to tell him that she just wants to be alone but he isn’t take no for an answer.
Roman knows what he wants and she is it …it would appear. Aria starts to learn more about Roman that he likes control and that he happens to work/live in her area. The more she tries to make him understand that she isn’t ready for a relationship the more he tells her that he understands…but does he?
Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. I went in hunt for more of her books only to find this one…can’t wait for the next installment in their story.
This is the first book in the duet by Melody Eve and also her debut novel and guys what an absolute treat.
We meet Roman and Aria in this full of life, quirky and heart melting read.
Aria flees her own wedding after discovering her fiancé and his betrayal. Standing at the altar she seeks her revenge when she reveals the truth to all of the guests, mind you they are high profile so you could only imagine the reaction.
Fleeing she ends up at her honeymoon destination, Cancun so Aria can simply be alone and immerse herself on her own self-pity.
But someone has other ideas.
A conversation overheard has Roman wanting to make sure that Aria is okay. He wants to protect her from the hurt that she must be carrying. It goes against everything Roam stands for, but the magnetic pull to Aria is just too great.
He needs to help her, Aria even though they are strangers.
This is Roman and Aria’s world and guys what a whirlwind of a world it is.
These two have chemistry.
The desire, want and need is there.
But can Aria give herself over to Roman?
Can Roman convince Aria that all he wants is just two weeks while she is in Cancun?
Can Aria after her recent heartbreak allow to let her hair down and have a little fun?
Can Aria trust Roman?
And what happens when they leave Cancun?
Will they ever see each other again?
Will their paths ever cross?
And what secrets could destroy it all, but more importantly destroy Aria?
Such a beautiful, light hearted read that I devoured this in one sitting. I was addicted from the prologue and I just couldn’t get enough.
Melody Eve somehow captured me and I couldn’t help but soak up every word, every detail.
It was a breath of fresh air. It was witty, charismatic, cheeky and sinfully delicious in all the right places. It was also heartbreaking and emotional. It was packed with everything that as a reader I could have possibly asked for.
Congratulations Melody on your debut novel. For me it was perfect. Thank you

I loved this book!
Verry steamy and a most original love story.
Once you think you know who Roman really is you keep on finding out more and more about who he truelly is.
And how he comes to love Aria so much!
A must read for all romance lovers.
What a great debut book- I finished wanting the next book as it’s part of a duet!
Roman and Aria’s story is intriguing. It is full of twists and turns that kept me turning the pages! Aria finds out 2 weeks before her wedding her fiancé has been cheating on her, she gets to the isle and confronts him in front of everyone and then goes on her honeymoon alone!
There Aria meets Roman immediately- they have a connection and the twists and turns go from there.
I enjoyed the chemistry between the characters, always knowing there was something more going on.
I look forward to book 2 in this duet!
Wow, wow, wow! What a helluva introduction to a new author!
Him & I is the debut novel from Melody Eve. I am an avid reader and newly minted blogger so I can say with confidence that this author is going to be huge!
This is the story of Aria and Roman. This is a page turner!
Aria has been burned badly (in the figurative sense) and is running away from it all to lick her wounds in private. She thought she had everything she wanted, she was willing to “settle” for what she had before it blew up in her face.
Roman, oh my me! Obsessive, stalkerish, over the top alphas are my weakness and he checked all the boxes! He too has had some bad things happen to him in the past, and it has made him into the man he is today.
This story isn’t just about “insta-love”, it’s got some twists and turns and you get little nuggets of information which make you scream for more, more, more! Ms. Eve doles those little nuggets out slowly. Make sure you take in all the words and savor them so you don’t miss a thing!
I hope to read more about some secondary characters and I loved the surprise at the end. You are a dirty, dirty tease Melody! I love it!
This is a must read, get your grabby hands on it!
Congratulations Melody Eve, I see a bright future ahead of you and I will be stalking you in the future (in a healthy, respectful way!!). Cannot wait to read what you put out next!!
Him & I (Together Duet #1), Melody Eve’s debut novel, is a contemporary, erotic, billionaire romance told from a single POV. Although this is the first part of a duet, it is a complete story that does not end in a cliffhanger.
Aria has just left her cheating fiancee at the altar after taking revenge by publicly exposing his infidelity to all the wedding guests. She goes on her honeymoon to Cancun alone and plans to spend her time drinking and wallowing in her hotel room. But Aria has caught the eye of a wealthy guest, Roman, who overheard the reason for her trip and he refuses to let her stay cooped up in her room. Aria and Roman quickly enter into a sexual relationship. She is hesitant to see it as anything more than a rebound, but he is “all in” and very persistent about pursuing things further.
Overall, I enjoyed the story and thought it was a good debut. There were a few errors and some editing continuity issues, but the story drew me in enough that I easily bypassed them. I enjoyed Aria as a character, but Roman kind of creeped me out. He was just so possessive and stalkery. The story was intriguing with some twists and big secrets revealed. I’m interested in reading the other half of the duet.
I’m not sure what to say about this book. It was interesting but….not my cup of tea. Roman was TOO Alpha. Not sure if that’s possible but he was a bit too controlling. Aria threw so many tantrums…her moods would swing so fast my head spun.
The story itself is interesting. Aria gets cheated on and finds out right before her wedding. She does an amazing job with her revenge. The secrets were amazing when we find them out but stalkerish? Overall good start. Lets see what book 2 gives us
This was an interesting read. The storyline grabbed me when I read the synopsis.
It was a quick read….which kind of made the character relationship quick but I thought the author did a good job of developing that relationship.

The beauty of love is that, You can fall into it with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. – Ritu Ghatourey
Melody Eve is a new author to me. I’m so glad I took a chance on her and her writing because I absolutely enjoyed it. OMG! This was such a uniquely amazing story line and plot. I loved every second of it. This story pulled me in and captured me from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. It was heartfelt, passionate, steamy, hot, mysterious and I loved witnessing Roman and Aria’s love and falling for each other. I can’t wait for the second book and so excited to see what is next in Roman and Aria’s journey.
Roman Ferris is dominant, obsessive, commanding, mysterious, but also persistent, handsome, swoon worthy man with the secrets of his own and a fair share of painful past. He is a very wealthy CEO, but so down to earth, he doesn’t flaunt his wealth or is an asshole because of it. He loves to be in control and is loving and caring person, especially for people he loves.I love how he is with his family: mother and sister and how he treats them. It’s obvious the love they share. I loved how honest and open he is, and that he wears his feelings on a sleeve.
Aria Savage is struggling bookshop owner. I loved her and I could definitely relate with her. She’s loving, caring, determined, stubborn, feisty, sassy, down to earth person/woman who knows what she wants; but is jaded from her previous relationship and struggles to trust. She is also afraid to love again because of that.
I loved Roman and Aria, their connection, pull, chemistry, the desire, need and protectiveness. It’s really beautiful to witness their love and how Roman was fighting for her and make her see that they are meant to be. I really couldn’t get enough of them. Loved how they just fit and how he wanted to make all of her dreams true. Their flirty banter was the best. Both are so stubborn and determined. I didn’t like that he was a little possessive and stalker-ish but I understand his point of view after I read about his past. They are each other’s match. I loved that Aria put him in place when he deserved it. I would like to see them communicating more, though.
It’s not just about the insta-love, it’s more then that: it is a page turner with some mystery, twists and turns; secrets, family values and giving a love second chance.
I wish there were an epilogue and Roman’s POV because I wanted to know his thoughts in certain situations but I absolutely LOVED and ADORED it. The writing made reading easy. It was well written and well developed. I was stunned to discover that this is Melody’s first novel, ’cause she writes with such emotion and passion.
A must read! HIGHLY recommend this book.

I stumbled upon this author on Facebook, and after reading the blurb for her book and noticing that it’s in Kindle Unlimited, I wanted to read it. Badly. And holy cow am I glad that I did!
Aria is newly single after discovering that her fiance was cheating on her. And by newly single, I mean that she is on what should have been her honeymoon alone. The only things on her agenda are to lick her wounds, drink, and bask in the sun. Until she meets Roman. Their connection is immediate. While she is hoping for a rebound fling, he is gunning for everything, and right from the start. But he has secrets while she has insecurities.
I loved how commanding Roman was. I love a good alpha guy, and while he seems a little over the top at times, there was something so endearing about it. I liked how Aria stuck up for herself and put Roman in his place (for the most part).
The writing was done so well; I actually had to go back and check to see whether Melody Eve had previously released other books, and was shocked that this is her debut! The characters were well-written and likeable, and the plot was well-paced.
I so cannot wait for the second part of this duet!!
