Return to beautiful Jupiter Point and the Knight family in this short and sweet novella. For those of you who have read the previous novels, we find out what was happening with Aiden as the mystery was wrapping up. If this is your first visit with the Knights, you won’t be lost but by the time you finish, you will want to go back and catch up! Aiden and Mia are a sweet couple that have definite chemistry, but realize they are young and have too much going on right now to have a relationship.
This was a fun story that I really wish had been longer, since I finished it so quickly. It was a nice return to the world of Jupiter Point, and I hope that one day we will get back there in the future.

This is the story of how Mia and Aiden meet and rescue each other. They then go their separate ways. If you want to read a sweet story about how sometimes you have to wait for the right time, like Robert and Janine Knight did, then this is the story for you.
This is such a sweet and tender story of two young people with different lives, living hours apart finding a love in just “one hot night” that can never be matched. A real romance of the heart, mind and spirit.
Aiden Knight gets kidnapped, and is trying to escape the cabin he was left in. While working on trying to escape he calls out for help only to hear a female voice on the other side of the cabin door. Mia grant a comic book creator rescues Aiden only for them to find more trouble while trying to escape. Both Aiden and Mia need some healing from their pasts. This book is a sure fire page turner!
WOW!! I don’t know how she does it, but every book or novella, including One Hot Night, Jennifer Bernard writes in her Jupiter Point series is better than the last. This is an amazing novella about two people who accidently saved each other from dangerous situations who then end up caring and loving one another. The last thing Mia Grant expects as she flees her ex-boyfriend is stumbling upon a cabin in unfamiliar woods is kidnapping victim Aiden Knight. As these two search to get away from her nasty ex and his kidnapper they learn much about each other. Throw in a thunderstorm and a white-knuckle wildlife encounter, and Aiden and Mia can hardly be blamed when the chemistry between them explodes into fiery passion. When these two are found they make a pact to meet up in five years to see if what their attraction was the real deal or just one hot night. I loved how Aiden saw the inner strength in Mia and encouraged her with her artistic talent. Mia had strong beliefs about right and wrong and what she needed in her life, including caring for her ill mother. Aiden respected Mia’s choices and for a twenty-something had an insightfulness that belied his age. These two were made for each other.
I truly loved reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. Ms. Bernard wrote an amazing sexy, caring, and intuitive story which drew me in and did not let me go until I turned the last page. This is not only the ninth book in the Jupiter Point series but also the fifth book in her Knight Brothers series, each book being a stand alone. I highly recommend this book to other readers and hope this is not the end to her Jupiter Point stories.
This may be titled One Hot Night, but it is totally one sweet night! I wish this had been a full length novel but that is the only thing wrong with it, well that and the fact that Aiden is the last Knight brother. I absolutely adore Aiden Knight and Mia Grant. That one fateful night when they are just 20 years old when she rescues him and he in turn rescues her; they bond and learn so much about each other. Their paths in life may be a bit different right now but something set them on the path to each other on this night. Things get hot and heavy between them because their chemistry is unavoidable but there is so much more that happens between Mia and Aiden that night. He wants to try to see her again after this but she doesn’t feel she has any room in her life because she takes care of her sick mother. He proposes an interesting future solution for 5 years from then but she declines. So unfortunately once his brothers find him the next morning, they go their separate ways. But not before they had a chance to leave a lasting impression on each other’s hearts.
Will they forget about each other in time? Will Aiden & Mia ever see each other again? Is there a future HEA for this sweet couple?
If you love the Jupiter Point series, Firefighters and the Knight Brothers, then you need to find out what becomes of the youngest Knight. This is another wonderful story from this awesome series!
Be still my heart, it’s the An Affair to Remember trope! Aiden, the baby, is the sweetest of the Knight brothers but he doesn’t miss his chance to mark Mia forever. Be aware this is novella that is so well done you’ll wish it was full-length. I absolutely loved this series and just as it built off the Hot Shot series a new series will build from it. Can’t wait for more of Kai!
One Hot Night brings Jennifer Bernard’s Knight and Day Jupiter Point series to a close, while also kicking off a new set of characters who’ve chosen to make Jupiter Point home. Adian and Mia are fun, if a bit young; a Knight and Day series would not be complete without the youngest Knight finding his HEA. The bulk of the book tells Adian’s story of being kidnapped during the unmasking of his father’s killer. The addition of that point of view of events makes the entire series that much richer. Long-time Jupiter Point fans will enjoy the closure that this novella brings. New readers will fall in love and want to go back to the beginning.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novella.
While I hate seeing the last of the Knight Brothers find their HEA I did enjoy seeing how Aiden got there! I have loved this series and this latest story doesn’t disappoint. Aidan is the youngest of the Knight boys and the one with the biggest heart. Mia and Aidan first meet during an emotionally charged time in both their lives. They share one passion filled night together then go their separate ways. Now years later they are reunited and it is immediately evident that even after all this time the spark between them is as intense and bright as ever. Can they find a way to each other or has too much time and life passed?
This was a quick read yet it was packed with all the romance, passion, and emotion you could want. I definitely recommend this one.
The Jupiter Point series has been one of my favorites because I’m married to a firefighter/EMT, so reading about Hot Shot Firefighters is right up my alley, so to speak. Exciting storytelling with well developed characters and some oh-so satisfying sex; what more could a romance reader want? This is Aiden and Mia’s book and I enjoyed them as a couple because they had great chemistry together and the ending of the book really touched my heart. Having said that, these two characters were way too calm about running from the danger they faced and the storyline should have reflected the seriousness of the subject matter. White it was a good, this book failed to live up to the 5-star adventures I’ve come to expect from Jennifer Bernard. I read an early copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
