Justice Morgan is unlucky in life and love. Her father is a drunk and no date ever lasts beyond the first. So when she unknowingly commits to taking over the kissing booth and annual bachelor auction, she finds herself overwhelmed and seriously out of her element. Kissing half the town wouldn’t likely change things in the romance department, but when Merrick Hudson’s lips touch hers, there is an … an undeniable spark she can’t seem to forget.
Merrick Hudson likes to keep his life unattached and uncomplicated. It made things so much easier. Especially for a man who was left standing at the altar. As a result, he takes risks in every area of his life except romance. So single life it was, and Merrick was perfectly happy to keep it that way. Or so he thought until the kissing booth incident. Now all he can think about is how the kiss rocked his world. But his past is threatening to undo all he’s accomplished.
All’s fair in love and war, but will Merrick and Justice be the same when the dust settles?

A beautiful clean romance where friends find they really want more from their lives. Both had bad experiences in their past and it kept them friends far longer than it should have. It also showed how family love can make or break a child’s feeling toward trying to find love of their own. Fear kept winning over, but it took a tragedy to bring her to the understanding that her future was hers to decide and stop being scared of taking a chance. This is a book to put on your to read list!
I enjoyed reading What If It’s Love. The main characters are likable even though both had a tough past. The setting is a small town in TX, but doesn’t involve cowboys. The plot moves along at a good pace. There is a sweet, fun HEA. I would recommend it to readers of clean/wholesome romance. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
A nice small town romance. Justice and Merrick are best friends until a kiss tells them there is so much more. I loved the relationship between Justice and Merrick. I liked that they were so close before their relationship turned romantic and that they really understood each other. I also enjoyed the small town and the love everyone had for them and the support they gave them. It was a sweet story that dealt with some difficult issues. I did have some questions that weren’t answered, but they didn’t detract too much from the main story.
I enjoyed this story which dealt with some difficult topics but not in too heavy a way. I loved that Merrick worked so hard to overcome his past and could become a good person. Justice was unwilling to give up on her father despite all his neglect and emotional abuse which was good but I was glad she could finally see she was enabling his bad behavior and could work toward being more effective in helping him.
I also like this group of friends who are so supportive of each other.
My one unanswered question is about the ex girl friend. I felt like she must have had an ulterior motive for showing up after so many years but I never really understood what it was. She obviously enjoyed feeling powerful over people and belittling others made her feel powerful but if that is all she was looking for, she could have found any number of other guys to put in that position. Why did she try to get Merrick back? Did I miss something?

I was given an advance copy of this book and voluntarily chose to write a review.
I love the happy euphoria of finishing a good book and just enjoying a few moments of rightness. This book does that. It has heart, friendship, swoony kisses, and fun banter. Loved it!
I received an ARC of this book and offered to give my thoughts on it. I loved this book! It had a cast of fabulous characters who were complex and deep and yet the story still had that playful and light element. I enjoyed it from start to finish, and the way the characters interacted with one another was great. They had chemistry and I enjoyed their interactions. Its just a fantastic book that I loved!
