The first book in the steamy Tapestries series by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author N. J. Walters!“Filled with lush details and interesting characters, this is a sexy read with a heroine who’s a strong woman with spirit.” —RT Book ReviewsCaptivated by a lush tapestry she sees in a shop window, Christina Beaumont impulsively buys it, never imagining how that one action will change … never imagining how that one action will change her life. The magical tapestry not only transports her to a world that resembles medieval Earth, but also into the arms of two massive warriors who both want to claim her.
Jarek and Marc, brothers of the House of Garen, are elated to discover the tapestry has delivered Christina to them, but ancient tradition dictates that they must compete for the right to be her husband. Both separately and together, the two will indulge Christina in every sensual way possible, taking her to passionate heights beyond even her most intense fantasies.
As the time for Christina to choose between the two men draws near, she is confronted with another option: she can return to her own modern world. Fearing their loss, Jarek and Marc will join forces to convince Christina to stay with them, even as they fight a rival family for the right to keep her as their very own . . .

This was a wonderful fantasy romance! Swept away to a magical place where men fight for your hand, and, woe is a maiden, you get not one, but two, brothers to keep your warm and satisfied. The only catch? Staying or going back to your boring, unsatisfying, life in the modern world. The fact said brothers are both trying to satisfy you the most so you pick them to be your lawful husband, well, darn, what a sacrifice to make! Super sexy, and a great tale to read
Christina doesn’t have much of a life outside of work and a very egotistical friend. Having a bit of cushion, Christina believes that is the cause of her dating woes. She thinks its easier being alone than to put herself out there and face rejection.
After being ditched by her friend for the umpteenth time, she decides to walk home in the rain. Passing by a quaint shop, she’s drawn to a tapestry displayed in the window. She has to see it! She makes a hasty decision and purchases it!
The tapestry is of two warriors with a castle. She starts having dreams that depict those two warriors. One night her dreams become real when she appears back in time with those two warriors, Jarek and Marc. This is a lot to understand! The brothers then compete for their chosen bride! She is attracted to both of them. How will she choose??
The sexiness of this book is off the charts hot!! I enjoyed the plot and the characters were likable. I could feel her struggle with having to choose and possible even leave this place. It was a intriguing time travel read I recommend!
Keep the ice water close by when you read this one!
Christina doesn’t have much of a life. She’s pretty much alone except for a very self-centered friend. After being ditched by said friend in a bar, she walks home in the rain and passes by a little shop. She sees a beautiful tapestry she is compelled to purchase. She eventually is pulled into another world, one that appears similar to Medieval England. Similar, except the way brothers compete for their bride…..
What follows is not for the prudish. This book isn’t going to win a Pulitzer Prize. But if you want a fun, fast-paced, sex filled romp with enough story to keep it interesting, you will be quite “satisfied” with this one! Very entertaining .
I received a copy of this book courtesy of NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.
Christina’s Tapestry by N. J. Walters is the First Book in the Tapestries series. This is the story of Christina Beaumont Jarek, and Marc.
Christina is taken back in time where she meets Jarek and Marc…two hot brothers. Christina is attracted to both but it appears she will have to choose one to marry.
I must say this was a very hot read that was impossible to put down. I didn’t read this book (to my shame!) to first time it came out so when I saw it with the new cover I had to read it. The cover is just hot too!
Really enjoyed their story!
Oooh, la, la, just wait until you hear what I have to tell you… I just had a sensational sensually stimulating visit to the past where I met the strong and captivating Jarek, Marc and Christina. These delighted me with their magical romance full of temptation and some really hot and sexy love scenes including menage scenes. The relationship itself was a bit slow in catching up to the sizzling chemistry that burned between these characters but hey who can blame Christina for being a bit slow on the uptake when she just got yanked from her time and place and dropped right in the laps of two super sexy warriors, who by their very natures would turn any red-blooded woman’s brain to mush. I could certainly connect with her and the two warriors as they explained the prophecy concerning the tapestry and why there romance had to move at such a fast pace.
Which kept things hot and steamy throughout and had me glued to the magical pages and N.J. Walters brought the story to such vivid life that I could practically smell the fresh air and I pictures each and every scene as they happened and let me tell you, that I was quite flushed by the time Christina made her decision about whether to stay or to go home. I will definitely be awaiting the release of the next Tapestry series romance, meanwhile I think I will be on the lookout for my very own ‘tapestry’.
