Lora’s in the middle of a messy divorce with her bull rider ex-husband. Just because she left the WBR circuit and is making a name for herself as a trainer, now his buckle bunny of a girlfriend thinks she can take half of Lora’s farm, her two best horses, and even her truck and trailer in the divorce and do the same thing. Lora’s tired of propping up Billy and it is long past time he learned to … to cowboy up and take responsibility for his own life. She’s swearing off men for good. Until her best friend introduces her to an up and coming D-series barrel racer with plans of his own.
Note: This is a women’s fiction series w/ romantic elements. The romance will get stronger as the series goes on.

This was such a wonderful love story. I enjoyed it very much. The storyline was spot on and was well executed. I recommend it.

Lora is trying to keep things going on her farm and getting through a nasty divorce from her cheating husband Billy. Billy’s girlfriend wants him to go for half Of the assets and the horse farm because she has her eye on starting up a horse training farm.. When her good friend Arden stops to visit Lora, she introduces her to an upcoming rodeo rider Clint. She is attracted to him but doesn’t want to get in a relationship until her divorce is final. This was a sweet clean story but.left you wondering if Clint and Lora would have a chance at something more than friendship.

Moving from married to cheated on and broken up to divorced- not easy when a judge, lawyers and a buckle bunny with aspirations interfere with division of property.
Finding her way back home to herself- sometimes harder.
Riding through life or love can be harder than staying on a spooked horse.
Touching second chance with herself more than with romance story!

Book one in a new series called Western Star a well written story of one woman’s fight to keep the things that are hers when her ex and his girlfriend try to take half it from her. She meets a man that helps her get through things. A book I enjoyed reading. I want to read the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lora’s in the middle of a divorce, and it’s getting messy. Her soon-to-be ex was hurt in the rodeo, and his girlfriend pushes him to take everything that he can from Lora. She’s trying to get the divorce behind her before she moves on with her life, especially starting with Clint. This was a nice shorter read – good characters. I really like how outspoken Lora is. I’m not normally a fan of cliffhangers, but I knew going in that this story would not be resolved in just one book, and I’m looking forward to the rest of the series.

Wonderfully written story with fantastic characters which made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read! I look forward to reading what this author writes next!
Some people can be so greedy and short-sighted.
I like Lora she is between a rock and a hard place with her jerky ex but she works her way through it all. This is not a romance so much as showing how strong one woman can be when faced with challenges and doing it on her own. It also shows how damn greedy and short-sighted some people can be. It looks like there will be another episode I am interested in knowing what will happen. Super story! I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Spins are Wild is basically three stories in one package. Firstly, it’s a journal of the workings of a training ranch and very detailed and descriptive in all aspects of the horses and the riders involved; secondly, it’s the telling of a bitter marriage break up and the ensuing division of property and assets; and third, it’s the budding friendship between Lora and Clint.
As a lover off Cowboy and Western romances, I obviously went into this story expecting something that I certainly didn’t get, as both the blurb and cover are deceptive, and imply something in the content that is surely lacking. Spins are Wild did not deliver any romance and left me feeling like the entire concept was to be educated in the process of training barrel racers and their horses. So even though the author’s writing was definitely in depth and informative (I can only guess at this, as I know nothing of the whole process) for me personally, this book left me feeling flat and bored, so I will not be continuing the series. Thank goodness it was only a short novella.
This is a wellwritten and great book with an entertaining storyline. I loved the wonderful characters. Will definitely read more about Lora and Clint.

Lora was in a fight for her livelihood thanks to the divorce to her husband and his girlfriend trying to take half of everything she had worked hard to get in the divorce proceedings. It didn’t matter that everything she has was after she had left when she found out about his infidelity, they were just pouring salt in the wound. Lora has some decisions to make and no matter what she decides her life is going to change. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
