I’ve only truly loved two things in my life. My club and my son. I gave up one, trying to keep the other safe. It worked, too… until an enemy took my son. But he made one mistake— He left me breathing. There’s nothing I won’t do to save my child.A woman is the last thing I need, especially a woman like Rory McDaniels. She’s stubborn, beautiful and drives me crazy. I’ve told her it’s too dangerous … beautiful and drives me crazy.
I’ve told her it’s too dangerous to be involved with me. She vows to stay, no matter the cost.
She has no idea how high that price might be.
Cliffhanger ahead.

Y’all I knew Diesel was gonna be a a*s but lord help I really did not realize he was gonna be that bad. Rory is so much better than me I would have ended on the tv show snapped. She has more patience than a sainyt to deal with his mood swings. Bring on Dec!!!
What a freakin awesome story!!!! Diesel and Rory both have a lot of demons from their past. Diesel left the only life he has ever known….his MC brothers to protect the son that he loves. He doesn’t want to interact with anyone and would prefer to keep to himself and son. Rory has other plans. She tries to interact with her new neighbor but he doesn’t want anything to do with her. They are complete opposites….she is light and all sweetness and he is cold, indifferent, and dark. No matter how much they clash….they are attracted to each other. Diesel doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes of his past but there is something different about Rory that makes him want to give her a chance. However, the past has a way of rearing its ugly head and the secret that Rory has tried so hard to bury deep is about to come to light. Can Diesel protect both Rory and his son from the evil that’s lurking around the corner. This book was amazing….I was hooked from beginning to end. The ending omg the freaking ending….gutted me and I can’t wait until Rory’s book is here to answer all the questions I now have. I highly recommend this book to everyone….this author never fails to bring it and produce an amazing story. Well done!!!!!
Diesel and Rory are the exception to every rule. Diesel learned his lesson about weaknesses. He has his club and his son and that’s all the life and love he needs. When someone makes the grave error of crossing him and taking his son he is out for scorched earth. He doesn’t have time for any distractions and that’s exactly what Rory is. She calls him in a way he thought he was immune to. She refuses to fade away from his life and it just may cost her everything. I abhor cliffies more than I can decide from everyone but the master Jordan Marie. She just gets how to write a book that going to leave you breathlessly wanting but not unfulfilled if that makes any sense.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
Just when I didn’t think she could absolutely bring me to my breaking point, Jordan Marie does it again. Diesel and Rory have consumed my every thought.
Diesel and Rory are both running from their pasts. Demons surround them. Diesel lives only to protect his son. He left his MC, his life behind. Rory too left her past, her pain. They clash, he building walls of protection and her walls of indifference. But they’re drawn to each other.
Diesel is a hard man, cold and unforgiving. Rory is sweet, just appreciating the here and now.
Diesel refuses to repeat his past mistakes even if Rory seems different. But his past is about to change his future, beyond comprehension. Can Diesel protect his own…will Rory save him?
And what about that ending…never saw that coming at all. My heart is heavy, my soul in pain and my head throbbing to figure a way out for everyone.
Phewwww what a book!!! Jordan Marie had brought Diesel out with a heavy story. Diesel is a stubborn.. rugged man who held bitterness to another level.. with his story, I can say Okay … you got a hold pass.. You would do anything to protect your love one.. Diesel was a character with iron thick shell… laced with venom and his only elixir is his son Ryan..
Rory was a sassy take no crap woman .. she has secret so deep that she practically drown with it..
This book was a story that wasnt meant for happening.. Both Diesel and Rory were carrying a lot of baggage.. It held a heavy heart to me when they tried to deny it. I cried for the hope and fear..
I read through a thick plotline .. so much feelings that i surely thought this will end easily but not. JORDAN MARIE wrote a stunning book with so many layers of emotions.. Dammmnnnnnnn I cried so much… I needed more!
I am floored after finishing this latest release from Jorsan Marie and am anxiously waiting to see what happens next for Diesel and Rory. Diesel ends up in Montana with his son, leaving behind his club and his brothers in order to protect his son after the latest kidnapping attempt. What he didn’t expect was his neighbor and the pull he feels towards this fiesty woman. Rory has her own reasons for showing up in Montana and trying to live a life on her own terms. Their first meeting is rocky, he’s comes off as a jerk and earns himself an appropriate nickname from her, but his little boy worms his way into her heart and eventually so does the prickly dad. These two will have a rough road ahead, thanks to their pasts, but I loved every word of their journey so far.
I have been reading Jordan Marie for 3 years now and I just love how she writes romance. Jordan’s books are an escape – you can get lost in them because they suck you right in! While it’s been a bit since I got to sit down and devour one of her MC romances, when I saw that she had a new book coming out, I couldn’t resist signing up to help with promo through my blog. Thank God I did because Holy Shit did I love Diesel! Absolutely a 5-Star Read…
“…Some blows don’t have to be physical to destroy you, Noah. I told you that once, don’t you remember? Words are venom, a poison that destroys you from the inside out.”
Diesel is book one of Jordan Marie’s new Love and War Duet which takes place in the Savage Brothers MC series. You can read Diesel without reading the first book of the series, however, the story is not complete at the conclusion of Diesel. You will have to wait to get your hands on Rory. I got sucked in super-fast and couldn’t put my kindle down. I’ve never read a book by Jordan Marie that has disappointed me, or that I would rate below a 4-star read. Additionally, Diesel may be my favorite book by this author yet… I’ve been pondering this for days trying to decide between Diesel and the duet from the Devil’s Blaze MC Series that includes: Beast: Learning to Breathe & Beauty: Learning to Live. I haven’t come to a conclusion yet, and that should say something since Diesel is just the first book this new duet.
“…Possessing me to the point that I know without a doubt he’s leaving his own kind of scars. Scars that will never heal, but these scars aren’t black. These scars are made of pure beauty.”
I can’t think of a signal thing about Diesel that I didn’t love. The plot was outstanding –dramatic, raw, emotional and gritty—all set to a fast past which meant the story was perfect for drawing readers in and keeping them interested and invested in plotlines. Then there is the Characters: Diesel and Rory. Diesel, the hero, is a single dad to Ryan—and as amazing of a father as he is—it was the Asshole that he portrays with Rory that was a HUGE draw for me. If you follow my reviews, you know how much I love an Asshole because something about them just draws you in, so needless to say, I found Diesel sexy as fuck! Rory, the heroine was feisty and full of sass, and I loved how she stood up to Diesel at every turn. As the story delved into her past, my heart simply broke for her. The sparks really flew between Diesel and Rory—hell, they were straight up fireworks—so every time they interacted with each other I wanted to sit down with a tub of popcorn. As with most enemies-to-lovers romances, the sexy factor is amped up. But then again, everything Jordan Marie writes is super sexy! Diesel is a slow-burn romance and it was so soooo delicious – note to those reading this review, have your batteries charged, and/or a change of panties at the ready cause you are going to need them! Also important to note, even though I HATE cliffhangers, I couldn’t help but appreciate just how consuming Diesel was. This not so subtle cliffy left me extremely close to chucking my kindle across the room but the knowledge that I wouldn’t be able to read the conclusion to the duet if I broke my device stayed my hand! Be prepared to have your mind blown if Diesel is your first book by Jordan Marie. I am relatively sure that there is no one reading this who’s read her work in the past cause you know just how outstanding her books are… get your hands on a copy of Diesel now!
