Night is here.A time for heroes to fight the darkness.Esme has always been a healer—whether it was a gift or a curse she could never decide. With every use of her power, she moves closer to death. Dorian is no Prince Charming, and even though Esme knows she’s better off being enemies than lovers, she can’t help who her heart claims.

Will darkness cover the earth?
Or will the Hero Society bring the world of man back into the light?

Well, that is definitely not what I expected with this last couple & I did not expect this to be the journey they took. I absolutely loved this book andI was so excited to see where this series ended. Esme is such an amazing character & her unfailing faith is so beautiful to see. She accepted her man for who he was & not what he did. Believing in him until the end.
Thank goodness there are 3 more stand-alone stories left, I am not ready to leave the Hero Society.
It’s always bittersweet when you know you are about to read the last book in the series. I absolutely love this Hero Society series and was sad it was coming to an end.
The thing with Night was i wasn’t sure what to expect given that this book was about the villain. We all hate a good villain and i knew Jessica Florence would have to bring something big to the table to make us like him.
Well she exceeded my expectations with this book in a massive way. This story was awesome from start to finish. I didn’t want to put it down i can’t even say this was my favorite as i loved each book equally.
This book had the emotions going, i felt hate and sadness and even heartbreak that i wasn’t expecting i was shocked and broken but she put me all back together again.
Dorian was the villain and to be honest i thought i was going to hate him until the end and not like him at all but the fact that he won me over and understood why he wanted to fight i was so happy when you knew that he would do something to be a good guy.
Esme was such a beautiful character and had a heart of pure gold and all she wanted in life was to love and be loved, she would do absolutely anything to save the ones she loves and she proves it so much in this books.
I loved the way this book was set out and it felt like we did a full circle and even got some chapters from Draco that took us back to the first book and of the fight that the Hero Society had on thier hands. I loved how we got all the characters from the previous books and how being part of this society has made them a family.
This book was full of surprises and just an amazingly written series. Even if your not into the world of superheroes you still need to give this a chance. Jessica Florence writes a book that you can play out in your head with romance, heartbreak and warm fuzzy feelings as well as action and excitement. This is a book and series you can’t go past.
A massive 5 Superhero Stars for this book and series.
Night is Book 4 in the Hero Society Series and the author ended this series with a serious bang!!
This series is incredible. Not only is each story totally unique, they also all have an underlying connection. The way this series was written is incredible. Book 4 had me on the edge of my seat and biting my nails. I also laughed out loud, cried, cheered, and almost threw the book at various times throughout this story.
I love that the main characters in each book carry over to the next book. The way the characters are written, they are very hard to let go of so it’s awesome to see them in each book.
Night is going to stay with me for a while. Every book in this series is amazing but I think this may be my favorite.
Here is one of my favorite quotes from the book.
“Look to the stars and find my love in the dark.”
This is definitely a series I will be re-reading!
WOW! What an epic conclusion to this series! (Don’t fret – there will be more from the Hero Society, just not this group’s.)
I struggled a bit w/ this because I didn’t like Dorian or Esme for a while. This was hard for me because I usually love anti-hero heroes & I liked Esme when I first met her. In her story, she just rubbed me the wrong way for a few chapters.
Even with that, though, I enjoyed the overall story & eventually loved both Dorian & Esme. : ) We get to see some of Phillip & Draco’s POV’s, which was interesting & rounded the story well. There is a battle & there’s a lot going on, so it’s got action as well as the HEA we all love. ; )
I recommend this whole series – Enjoy!!! : )
