Wow, this one’s more intense than the first one, but it was awesome 🙂 Jesus, there were moments where the suspense got so intense, I would sweat bullets, expecting the worst, but thank God, good always prevails and our favorite heroes, Falcon and Drake would be safe. In this one, we discover many things, like Charlotte being the new seer (Falcon’s mom was the only known vampire to be a seer, and they are rare and special in a vampire). It’s a curse as well as a gift because they can see what happens but they must never tell anyone what they see, if they do, the future could change for the worst. At times, I felt Charlotte’s pain at knowing someone she knew like Nora would suffer and could not do anything, only letting it takes its course. Drake was there for her when she needed a shoulder to lean on
After Nora being attacked by Falcon’s nephew, Nero (who killed his own father, Alessio and ended dead after Falcon killed him for hurting his woman) and she recovers, Falcon becomes more overprotective of her and at the same time proud for not letting the attack stop her from helping finding the cure and being so strong. These two are insanely in love with each other and both warriors even though Falcon is much older than Nora, they are kindled soul-mates, the same goes to Charlotte and Drake. Both heroes are best friends and both heroines are best friends, they are bounded by friendship, loyalty and love and not even the Lamian are ever going to be able to destroy that, despite all their trickery, deceit and killings. They want to prevent the prophesy from happening but when you read this one, there are many answers that will be answered and at the same time, new questions will arise. I just know that at the end of this book, it wasn’t a much shocker to me because I somehow suspected it from what Falcon’s mother told him; He is the key. Hint: The prophesy says a vampire baby girl will be born and will be the Savior for their future, the light needed to free them of the darkness (only male vampires are born from bonded mates; when a male vampire mates with a female human). Charlotte discovered that Nora’s name means light, compassion, which was a shock to everyone since that could mean it is somehow related to the prophesy and gives them a bit more hope. Both girls end up pregnant at the same time, meaning one carries a baby girl (the awaited baby girl for many and the threat for the Lamian and their followers, who will do anything to prevent it from happening.) It ends with a cliff-hanger that will leave you desperate for the last installment of Falcon & Nora, and Drake & Charlotte’s conclusion. Can’t wait to see the villains get what’s coming to them and the good ones receiving their happily ever after
