This was such a wonderful enjoyable series to read, especially since no matter how much time passed between stories you knew where you were and all the characters intermingled, so you knew them all. In each story it was such that it felt like you were there at Silver Lake watching from the sidelines. Great is that they were all standalone I’m sorry it has ended, but I’m so happy that Ms Day is writing a new series where we will be able to visit with our old friends from Silver Lake.
Shifters oh my.

An interesting shifter romance.
Blair is a werebear whose bear has decided to hibernate and Ronan is a werewolf who knows he’s met his mate but doesn’t understand why she doesn’t. If that isn’t bad enough, things take a decidedly bad turn when Blair gets home from work and realizes she’s got blood on her and a chunk of missing time. Once everything hits the fan, Ronan knows he has to protect her and help discover what really happened.
This book is well written and the world is really well developed. It also happens to be part of a series but I haven’t read anything else from it, yet, and had no trouble following along.
I loved this book. You immediately can tell that you will laugh and cry with this book. You go through the ups and downs with this cast of characters. I cannot wait to see where else this may go. I am leaving a voluntary review for an advanced copy of the book.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
Blair is not having a good day.
First, her inner bear has gone MIA, and then she supposedly committed a murder, but she can’t remember/
What is a werebear gal to do?
Enter smoking hot wereworlf Ronan.
Ronan knows that Blair is his mate, but Blair cannot confirm w/o her inner bear.
Now they work together to find out what really happened to Blair.
The storytelling + the character’s build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
This is a excellent, intriguing book, written by a exceptionally talented author and I, thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
This book is about: a female werebear (Blair) who is struggling to find her bear and cannot remember a murder she apparently committed. A werewolf (Ronan) insists on staying around her while his wolf wants to claim her. There is a lot of trials & tribulations before they get their HEA.
What you will find in this book is: witches, various shifters, a goddess, dark realm, demons, law enforcement, family issues, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, mystery, evil, murder, confusion, memory loss, drugs, attractions, seduction, revenge, lust, passion, love and steamy scenes.
The characters are interesting, well developed and realistic with their emotions. The story-line and plot is well-thought out and written, it keeps the reader’s attention. I look forward to reading more books written by this talented author.

It is sad to see this series go. I will miss Silver Lake but I do love the spin off to this series just as much.
Vella always find a way to throw a twist here and there in a story and this story is no different.
My heart broke for Blair. She was a werebear. We know her from previous books in the series. We get to know more about her in this story and what you will find out will break your heart and her heartbreak just does not stop.
Ronan was this smoking hot werewolf. Can you say yum. I love how he knew that Blair was his mate and he was willing to do what ever he had to to prove her innocents.
There is is a lot that happens in this story and the author done well on writing the perfect last story to the Silver Lake series. These two characters were perfect.
This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read it.
