From USA Today bestselling author Katie Reus comes the next story in the explosive Redemption Harbor series where sparks fly and so do bullets… Gage, the computer genius she’s falling for—is out of the question. She used to work for the CIA and she’s trained—she can handle this. Besides, the whole team is working on their own important jobs. She’s not going to drag anyone away when she’s not sure it’s necessary.
Is the one he can’t have…
When Nova asks for time off out of the blue—and use of the company jet—former Marine Gage takes note. Of course, he notices everything about Nova. But as one of her bosses, his growing attraction to her is a line he won’t cross. However, that doesn’t mean he’ll let her run straight into danger—and a quick hack of her computer proves she’s gotten in over her head. Gage is coming along for the ride, whether the sassy assistant likes it or not. He’ll do whatever’s necessary to save her friend…and keep Nova out of the clutches of a lethal enemy who won’t hesitate to kill anyone who gets in their way.

Suspense, drama, action and steamy romance and two amazing lead characters in Nova and Gage. Hunting Danger is the fifth book in the Redemption Harbor series, these two have had a thing between them since their first encounter and this book gave them life. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this great author.
I enjoyed Hunting Danger. From the first page the story and characters were interesting. This is the 5th book in the Redemption Harbor series and when I first started reading I didn’t feel lost. There were parts where The author could of done a much better job explaining the history of the series and past events in the series, but those parts that I did feel lost didn’t effect the overall storyline, but did effect my overall enjoyment of the book.
Gage and Nova had good chemistry, and banter between them. They were fun and sexy, while the story was suspenseful and full of angst at time, it was a good balance. I will definitely be checking out the rest of this series.
Hunting Danger (Redemption Harbor, #5) by Katie Reus … This is the 5th Redemption Harbor book and it was as good as the other 4… Nova and Gage have lusted after each other for a long time and never would make a move. Thanks to the publisher and #NetGalley for letting me preview this book. When Nova is going to go help her best friend and foster sister who is in some kind of trouble Gage decides he will go with her. I hated to put the book down it kept me turning pages… so much fun to touch base with the others from Redemption Harbor and enjoy the suspense, laughter, tears, steamy sex and fast paced action…. all leading to a HEA… I can’t wait for the next book.
Nova works for Redemption Harbor Security and when her best friend messages her about needing help, she borrows a plane from her boss and goes to her. Gage is the hacker of the team and has been attracted to Nova since he first heard her voice on the phone.. But he won’t act on it because he is sort of one of her bosses. He goes with her to help get her friend away from her fiancé. The boyfriend is into a lot of bad things and after Nova’s friend saw him kill someone, she knows he’s not the man she planned to marry. Getting her away and in protection becomes a car chase and shootout.
Nova wants a relationship with Gage but when he turns her down, she decides to quit waiting on him and get on with her life. Gage finally realizes he wants everything from Nova but will he be too late?
Great story. Action, a little steamy, and some funny stuff. It’s not long and I didn’t want to give too much away so that’s why my review is short. I love Ms. Reus books and can’t wait to see what happens next with this team.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for Netgalley
Another great book of the men and women of Redemption Harbor. We have been waiting on Gage and Nova’s book and even though this one was shorter than the others it still packed a punch. The action is non-stop and the dialog is snarky and witty. Their “no we shouldn’t, well maybe we could” had me wanting to yell “you definitely should”. The suspense of when was as good as the suspense of the story itself.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.
The author takes us back to Redemption Harbor and the members of Redemption Harbor Consulting. A company that helps those that have nowhere to go for help.
This story belongs to Gage, former Marine and computer wiz, and Nova, organizer extraordinary for the company. These two have been attracted to each other, neither letting the other one know. Mainly because Gage is one of the bosses and mixing business with personal matters is something neither Gage nor Nova believe would work.
When a friend of Nova’s needs help , she goes to her rescue, very much annoyed at Gage when he joins her . They face danger and in the midst of it , the sparks ignite. But will they survive to find their HEA?
The plot is fulled of action, bad guys, alpha males, and strong women. The later is something I always appreciate this author doing.
The characters are complex and imperfect. Lastly, as with many of Ms Reus books, a reminder that life is not black and white, but varying shades of gray. When one is put in a dangerous position , drastic measures need to be taken to survive.
Another very good addition to this series we have all come to love.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
