They all thought they knew him… including the one thing he never expected.
Her.
Elle Delacroix has it all—talent, money, fame… except the one thing that truly matters.
Love…
The only thing Seth has left to give.
There are two sides to every rock ’n’ roll story;
it’s time for Seth to tell his.
Dirty Like Seth is the third full-length novel in the Dirty series—a rockstar romance series about the members of the rock band Dirty and the women and men who love them.
Novels in the Dirty series are interconnected standalones, each with an HEA; other books (novella/story collection) are not HEA, but are essential pieces of the overall story arcs. (There are ongoing storylines that develop throughout the series; reading them in order is not crucial but is HIGHLY recommended.)
Reading order:
Dirty Like Me (Dirty #1)
Dirty Like Us (Dirty #0.5) (novella)
Dirty Like Brody (Dirty #2)
A Dirty Wedding Night (Dirty #2.5) (story collection)
Dirty Like Seth (Dirty #3)
Dirty Like Dylan (Dirty #4)
Dirty Like Jude (Dirty #5)

I am a fan of Dirty and wanted Elle to have her own book but with the little bit with Elle and Ash in the last book, I was sure that they would be how Elle’s story would go. I never thought that her story would entwine with Seth’s and what a story it was.
Seth was the former band-mate that got away or got thrown away or kicked out of the band, whichever way you want to put it. No one really knows what happened. But then again there is one person who knows the truth and in this story about Seth, we learn what really happens.
There is a break in the auditions so Elle takes off for Hawaii for a while, to get some peace but before she can make it to the airport, she sees Seth. Talks to him and invites him to go with her. Seth isn’t she why is going one but he goes with her anyway. While Elle wants to know what happened, she starts asking questions about his drug use and other things. They talk and she finds herself falling for him. She doesn’t know why now but she has always liked him. While Seth is still trying to figure out why she invited him along, he has always liked her and wants more with her but will not push it.
When they get back to Vancouver, Elle invites Seth over to her house to help write and record songs with her. He accepts because why wouldn’t he. They both realize the sparks flying between them and act on them. When the rest of the band finds out about Elle and Seth recording, some are angry and some are happy. But Elle whats them to see just what Seth is really about and they all should learn the truth about what really happened all those years ago.
Will the only person who knows the truth come forward? Can Elle make the band see the truth about Seth and accept him if she reveals her feelings about him? What will Seth do when he learns her secret? Can the band forgive the past and accept Seth back in to Dirty and move on to a bigger and better future?
I love this series and this one was good but was slow in some parts but overall was really good. You can’t go wrong with Dirty if you are looking for a group of Rock Gods, Jaine Diamond knows how to deliver them to you. I am looking forward to Dylan’s story next.
**Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
I’ve always been a sucker for the misunderstood musician; there is just something about their vulnerability that I connect with when reading and Seth had that in spades. Elle is the perfect one to help Seth and in doing so she finds herself and learns the true meaning of what it means to love someone
Dirty Like Seth is about redemption and realizing that there is always someone in your corner willing to fight for what’s important. Great job!
I binge read the entire Dirty series and loved every minute of it!! I didn’t stop to rate/review While in between books, I just went right into the next – the teaser at the end of each book for the next is to blame for that!! I’m going to do one catch all review and copy/paste it to each book. READ THE SERIES if you’ve not already. And START FROM THE BEGINNING! I know the author says they are interconnected standalone book and while that is true, you will so much more enjoy the books by reading them all-in order. In Dirty Like Me, book 1 we get to know Jesse and Katie. Jesse is the lead guitarist for the band Dirty. He meets Katie, a regular girl who inadvertently lands a modeling job as his love interest in a video he’s making, only she’s not a model and was surprised to learn that her BFF who is the talent-scout who roped her into this gig without telling her that the video is of the two of them in bed together. Jesse and Katie end up spending a lot of time together (he pays her to do so 😉 and…it’s a great story!! These two are my favorite! As Jaine does with all her characters in this series, she keeps Jesse and Katie alive in her subsequent books so we keep up with them! Book 2 is Dirty Like Brody is great too! A long time overdue, FINALLY coming together of Brody and Jessa (Jesse’s sister) who’ve always loved each other. Their reunion was a bit tense and Brody quite grumpy, lol. But things work out and a baby is made! Book 3 A Wedding Night – don’t miss it! Catch up on Jesse and Katie at their wedding. Steamy, witty, funny, loved it! Plus you get more on everyone else and you will definitely want to know for the next books! Dirty like Seth. Elle, who’s Jesse’s former girlfriend before Katie, is still nurturing her broken heart over Jesse when their former band mate Seth returns to the band. Seth comes back after kicking drugs and some other drama involving Jessa and not everyone is immediately thrilled he’s returned. Elle is drawn to him and wants to support him and They end up spending time together and…baby #2 is made!! Dirty Like Dylan – WHOA! Dylan; Dirty’s HOT drummer, and his best friend Ash (man) share. They take best friends to the next level!! And they meet Amber who’s just been contracted to take pictures while Dylan shoots an underwear commercial – yes with his drum kit! They want to share Amber. Amber is up for it! Amber is a lucky lucky woman! Super steamy with some real affections taking place. It doesn’t end well for everyone and feelings are hurt. It sucks, but more to come in subsequent books (like in the Players series which I am just now starting). Dirty Like Jude- not gonna lie. Skipped it. I have not been a fan of Roni, Jude’s love interest in the previous books. I don’t like her. She’s selfish. So I couldn’t make myself read it. Dirty Like Zane – Awesome way to wrap up the series!! Dirty’s front man has been very prominent in the series and we know so much about his rocky relationship with Maggie: their manager, assistant to Brody. Lots of secret and finally are revealed! Oh! And read Dirty Like Us (0.5 Novella) for more on these two BEFORE reading this or really the others! Zane has been through a lot as the front man of dirty and has a lot to over come but there’s no party without him; sober or otherwise! I pictured an 80s David Lee Roth when I thought about Zane’s characters. He and Maggie are definitely my 2nd favorite. Throughout the series we keep up with Jesse and Katie and what’s going on with them. Same with the others. All around a 5 for me! Absolutely loved the series and would be thrilled for more books on Dirty to catch me up with what they are all up to these days!
This series is so addicting! The relationships get you so invested and the characters are so easy to love. If you Haven’t started the series you’re missing out!
Book 3 was a wonderful story about second chances, redemption, and friendship.
Seth and Elle’s story was wonderful to read. Elle is at the top of her game professionally, she is a sought after talent in multiple genre’s; but she is just feeling utterly drained from life. Seth has been at his lowest point and realized what matters most to him. Together these two go on a wonderful journey together to get what they both need to be happy.
Another good book in the series
I Love her easy to read style and her ability to make me love her characters.
I’m so in love with the Dirty rock series and cannot believe that Ms. Diamond always gives me another of Dirty’s hot rock stars to swoon over. This is Seth’s story; the bad boy who’s drug addiction had him kicked out of the band the first time and his second time was because of vicious allegation to something that was completely opposite than what he was accused of.
Seth had a hard life coming from an orphanage and living on the streets. Zane, Dirty’s lead singer, had pulled Seth in to a band practice back in the day and they all soon seen the talent that Seth possessed. Seth’s demons at the time took over his life and it took many tries at rehab after being cut from the band before he was able to get his life back on track.
Now Dirty was looking for a replacement for Seth after all this time and what better way to do this but by holding blind auditions and having it filmed for t.v.! This was Seth’s last chance to get back to his family, to Dirty. The band was very discouraged because no matter how many people they heard no one came even close to what they old bandmate had given them…until the last guy to audition for the day. Yep, Seth killed it but upon seeing him, Seth was met by disapproving looks and not one bit of welcoming home.
Elle, Dirty’s bassist, was the only one to want to give Seth another try but no one else spoke up for Seth and it so happened that they were taking a break from the auditions and Elle was heading for vacation time in Hawaii. Upon driving to the airport she sees Seth sitting on a curb talking to a man who looked to be homeless, picked him up and whisked him away to Hawaii with her so that some of her questions could be answered about Seth and his true intentions.
Would Elle ever get to see the real Seth and even if she did would the rest of the guys from the band hold it against her for even talking to him? Her place in the band could be on the line as well. So sit back and dig in if you are ready for some music being made both in and out of the sheets. There are plenty of surprises that will make this one h*ll of a page turner. Do yourself a favor and read the prior books in the Dirty series which are all fantastic. You won’t regret it if you are a rock romance lover like me.
Gah, this Dirty series just keeps getting better and better! I’ve been dying for Elle’s side of the story—dying to know what makes her tick. She’s a beautiful enigma in past books in this series and I couldn’t wait to dive into Dirty Like Seth to see where things went.
And, holy moly, I wasn’t disappointed at all!
I got an even better story than I could have imagined. I loved how Seth and Elle opened up to each other. That they finally we able to voice their mutual attraction to each other, but also that they loved making music together—the music is really what brought them together.
I loved seeing Elle finally take a stand with the rest of the band. To finally voice her opinion and be heard. To finally come out from the cloud that was the broken relationship with Jesse.
And Seth. Damn, where do I even start. The man is constantly aware of himself, his feelings, his triggers, his coping mechanisms and his strength in character. He’s traveled a long way on his recovery journey, and yet he never lost his love of music
Sigh. I need to read Dirty Like Seth again. To get back into Elle and Seth’s heads again. To watch them fall in love again. God, I can’t wait for more in Dirty Like Dylan.
