This is my second favorite book of the series so far (the first book is my favorite). The emotional roller coaster the characters experienced was heart-wrenching at times. One of the things I love about this series is that all the previous characters are still involved. It enriches the story for me.
The book is well-written with great characters, deep emotions, and a wonderful storyline. I definitely recommend it.
In this fourth book in the Bear Grass Springs series, we once again meet up with Helen Jameson. Up until now, she has hardly endeared herself to the readers, but one thing does stand out and that is Warren Clark always took her side and tried his best to protect her from the venom that she inspired from the community. Abuse in families has been common right through the ages, and when one has little recourse through the law or agencies such as we have today, a person loses not only their self-respect but also the ability to determine the way forward. Helen has been pushed and shoved around by her malicious mother and brother, and one finally comes to understand her unfortunate behavior from the past. Warren does everything he can possibly do to save Helen from herself, and at first, it would appear that he is succeeding. However, when unexpected events transpire, he has to reconsider whether he has been wise in his choices. Once again, this book brings out the necessity of communication in any relationship, especially as so much heartache could have been avoided if they had just trusted one another enough to bare their hearts. This book is well written with complex characters and a multifaceted plot. It kept me engrossed right through to the end, arousing feelings that I wasn’t aware I had! I look forward to reading more in this series, and hopefully Mrs Jameson and her dastardly son will eventually get their comeuppance! I received a copy of this book for free and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is the 4th book in this series. The book has a good plot with wonderful characters some of which I liked and some I disliked very much. The story is about struggles due to troubled pasts, love, family, and forgiveness.

More Montana Territory Drama
This episode of the Bear Grass Springs saga is a cacophony of contrasting emotions. There is love, betrayal, fear, hatred, jealousy mixed in with murder, lies and betrayal. The plot is excellent. Just when you think it is all tying up nicely, the story takes off in another direction. I love that this author writes a longer story which helps the plot and characters evolve. I have read a couple of the earlier episodes of this series and this book is well within keeping with expected quality of the story. I received this book for free and voluntarily chose to post my honest review.
THIS IS ONE WILD RIDE!!!
Oh man! I have to tell you guys that I loved the way this one played out. The characters were realistic and believable. You can’t help but fall in love with them. Well most of them anyway. Yeah, I’m gonna leave ya hanging. Growing up in an abusive home the main female has quite a few doubts about herself. Low self-esteem, feeling unworthy, lonesome and just plain begging for someone to love her. I love the white knight. Yeah, he stepped right up in there and got his girl. Not so fast, plenty of drama follows and so to suspense that totally floored me. Flightner totally nailed this explosive plot. A strong storyline that will rock you to your core. I was pulled so deep in this tale that nothing else existed except the pages I was flipping to find out what’s next. Yep, you have all the heart pounding moments along with a good dose of fear throughout at the cruelty of others. The chemistry between the two main characters was definitely hot. They had a few trust issues to work through as well as discovering each other. The scenes were graphic and well defined that you have no trouble picturing it in your mind. Flightner never ceases to amaze me. The more of her work I read the more intrigued I become. With all the twists and turns and surprises around every corner you’re not sure who to depend on. Flightner did a phenomenal job bringing this read together beautifully. Great job and thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
