Audiobook review: The Elemental Coven picks up where the previous book stopped. Sisters are reunited but trust and patience are tested. The covens stand off and those who are not joining are dying. Plenty of action and drama to keep one entertained. The narrator did a good job. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
Lilith once more has landed in a situation where everything is out of her control. She may have been saved from the battle but she is not exactly free from the war between witches.
Caught between the world she knew and the world she has just found, Lilith must choose where her loyalty lies.
Secrets and lies put her heart to the test in this thrilling continuation of Lilith’s magical journey. Loved this book! Cannot wait to see what happens next.
What can I say – wow. I enjoyed the second book – The Elemental Coven in this – The Witch’s Ambitions Trilogy, series. Poor Lilith, she’s not sure who she should believe or trust. Finding out old friends are her enemies and her enemies fast becoming her friends? And the dead…not always dead, well not dead for long.
The Council who she once belonged to – is behind the attacks on her people, and other witch covens. Will Lilith survive or will she become like her long lost dead sister?

The second book of this great paranormal series continues the story of the ongoing war between the Elementals and the Council from Lilith’s perspective. The narrative delivers somee completely unexpected twists and heart-in-your-throat moments of suspense and anticipation. Because the reader can never be sure of what will happen, it is highly involving and interesting.
The writing is good and the story moves at a good pace. The story is easy to read and very engaging, particularly in the way it immerses the reader in Lilith’s personal life and keeps them invested in her wellbeing and her future.
I worried that I would be lost since I started with book two. It was an unnecessary concern since Kayla Krantz caught the reader up so well. The world she created is engaging, I enjoyed this book very much! A great read for fans of fantasy novels!
Wow, what a great book. I love a good witch story and this one surely didn’t let me down. The characters drew me in from the first page. Ever wanted to reach inside a book before and help the character along? Well, I wanted to for Lilith. With that said, its an overall great fantasy read.
The Elemental Coven was a great kick start to my weekend reading.
I REALLY hate joining a trilogy in the middle: no clear understanding of the background, no real resolution. That said, there’s great writing, and to say anything else risks spoilers. Three days to read this middle book.
