A quick read; romantic and predictable.
Very funny. Enjoyable. Easy to read. Characters are adorable
“Don’t Tie the Knot” (nook) was a great read. In fact, I started the book and could not put it down until I had finished – at 3 a.m.
I previously read this book from a box set “Wedding Trouble Collection” by Bianca Blythe. I highly recommend you read the collection as the characters are all intertwined throughout. I also recommend the audiobook which brought the story to life more than my imagination could ever conjure. This is entertaining and fun. I highly recommend it.
What a fun little room! Georgiana and Hamish are so different and yet perfect for each other. I loved getting to know her quirky o parents and the tension of discovering who would win… would Hamish succeed in stopping his broth e ‘re wedding or would Georgiana save the day? In the end they both won. I look forward to seeing them again in the next books.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was funny and unconventional. Great characters.
this is a fun book
I enjoyed the characters of Hamish and Georgiana. Each wanted to protect and do what they felt was best for their sibling. One wanted to stop the wedding and the other equally determined to make sure it went ahead. I found the story entertaining and thought-provoking. Their were some unexpected twists and turns on the road to true love.
Disappointment throughout the book. Struggled to finish it
A bit different than the usual romance novels!
I really enjoyed this book. I liked the story line and I like the characters. This is the 1st book in the series Wedding Trouble, it was so good I had to read the 2nd book immediately after.
Looking forward to reading more wedding trouble books
What to do when a gentleman lands in your bedroom thinking you were your sister? Well if it was the handsome Scot Hamish, you might be amused, or not. Georgiana Butterworth never expected a visit from Hamish, but finding out he is trying to stop the wedding of her sister Charlotte to his older brother, she is determined to thwart him. Trying to bribe her with money to not marry his brother ( he at first thinks she is her sister) is only one angle he tries. But fate steps in and they become attracted to each other. This was such an enjoyable read with a lot of humor and strong emotions. What will they do? Can they find their happy at this unexpected twist? As always, Bianca Blythe wows with a wonderful story that will have you smiling and turning the pages!
Funny and Well Written!
What is it that captivates one so when there is a Scottish member of the aristocracy involved in a story? Is it their caring natures or perhaps that they have hard bodies and perfect physiques or even that they are just so good looking that they are to die for? Or maybe they are rakes?
In all honesty, I really don’t know what it is – perhaps it’s just a wonderful mixture of all of this and most importantly a great and well written story involving one or more of them.
Whatever it really is, this story certainly held my attention and I loved every moment of it from the initial mistaken identity to the messed up proposal.
It was great and thoroughly entertaining!
I read this story as part of an Advance Reader Copy of this series’ boxset and the review above is given voluntarily and is unbiased.
some rough spots in storyline
This is a historical novel about two twin brothers who are confused in love. We go through various escapades and trials with them as they find true love. This is an excellent read.
A light-hearted romance, Don’t Tie the Knot is full of surprises, but unfortunately, a number of unanswered questions as well. However, in view of the fact that this book is part of a series, the queries running around in my mind will probably be answered at a later date. When Hamish finds out that his brother is getting married, but not to the lady to whom he is betrothed, he rushes off to London to prevent the marriage from taking place. After having thoroughly embarrassed himself, he discovers that the feisty young lady he thought was his brother’s bride, is in fact her sister. Putting further blocks in the way of the marriage only results in creating more difficult circumstances and putting Georgiana’s reputation at risk. The story is well written with plenty of humour, especially as Mrs Butterworth is one of the most chirpy mothers any girl could have. I did enjoy the book and had some good laugh out loud moments, although I would have liked to have some more answers. I received a copy of this book for free as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
