Wonderful characters
This is the second book in this series. I loved Clint and Lacey they were both wonderful characters. I also loved catching up with the characters from the first book. This was another character driven story with a suspenseful storyline.
Healing Her Spirit is such a fantastic read. I laughed, got mad and even ahead tears a few times. Mrs Sullivan is such a talented author I fall in love with each book. You don’t want to miss reading this one.
Lacey is the town coroner. She has a four year old son that is the cutest little thing. He brings a bit of laughter where there seems too be heavy emotion. Not that the heavy emotion is a bad thing, it’s just a brief relief.
Clint is a school teacher in town that fell head over heels in love with Lacey within a few months. However, what he saw and what she saw seemed to be two different things and she walked away from him breaking his heart in two.
This is about second chances and overcoming the unseen. When a serial killer strikes Serenity Springs, everyone is going postal on the sheriff and deputies to get it all under control. But how can the catch a man that never leaves any clues or anything behind?
Lacey is able to put pieces of her life together that have long been apart and gain more that she’s never thought she’d have a chance at again. This is just as emotional and suspenseful as the first and another MUST READ.
To be honest, this author is a major do not miss. If her name is on it, I believe you will truly love it… At least that’s what I think. Now to wait for more of her books to come out *sigh*
Book 2 in this wonderful series finds us learning more about Lacey and her son Ethan. Lacey has kept a secret from those who have welcomed her to this town. Now the secret must be shared but will she be able to? Someone is killing women in a very brutal way in the town and of course, Lacey is wrapped up in this more than she wants. Shock is what she gets when they figure out who is doing the killing. Clint is still on the mend from being shot at the school and his heart long for Lacey but what he does not know is she feels the same way about him.
Lacey finally has to let the truth out about who Justice is to her. What will everyone think? Will they still accept her?
A truly wonderful story, it gives us some suspense, mystery and a whole lot of love. I enjoyed this second book in this series and hope to read more very soon.
