Disappointing his parents was nothing new. Bringing her home didn’t change that.Parker “Griffin” Mitchell V was raised to be a southern gentleman, and to stretch the political power his family had honed for five generations all the way to the White House. He had other ideas for his future. He became a Navy SEAL then went to work for Guardian Security taking the occasional black ops job. When he … ops job. When he brought the love of his life home to Augusta, Georgia to meet his family, his years away hadn’t changed their plans. His love for Grace Hall didn’t matter to them because they had already selected an appropriate wife for him.
Griffin must choose between family expectations and love, or will Grace make the decision for him by walking away?

Love this follow up with Grace and Griffin. As they go to Griffins home to meet his grandparents Grace and Griffin have to deal with his mother who has Griffins life planned out for him. Loved his grandparents and got a chuckle or two during this story. Loved how Grace and Griffin worked things out! Also enjoyed Griffin’s dad finally taking a stand. Loved it!
KaLyn Cooper continues to entertain us with a sequel to Grace and Griffin’s story. If you loved reading about them in “Unexpected Love”, you really need to read this. Even if you haven’t read the prior books, this is a very enjoyable quick read.
Griffin is taking Grace home to meet his family, and, boy, what a family! His mother has a plan for her son that does not include Grace. When Grace is introduced to one of Griffin’s lifelong friends she learns they have had a closer relationship then he had previously revealed. Can Grace forgive Griffin for not telling her the whole truth about Norie? Will Grace and Griffin‘s relationship stand up to the strain of his mother’s machinations? Griffin has his own plans for his and Grace’s future, but will he get his chance before his mother succeeds in ruining everything?
This was a delightful read, and, although not as action packed as the other Black Swan stories, it still has its own brand of intrigue and suspense. I highly recommend you read this, and if you haven’t already, you really need to read the other books in the Black Swan series. You won’t be sorry!!
I am voluntarily providing an honest, unbiased review of an ARC of this book. In support of Ms. Cooper’s writing, I have also purchased a copy.
This is where Griffin takes Grace to his home to meet his grandparents and his political parents. His mother is a real piece of work. Grace is a better woman than me, I would have left and never looked back. Received this book free for an honest review.
This is a great series. I’ve loved getting to know these strong characters and falling in love with them. The storylines are engaging and kept me turning the pages!

I’ve loved the somewhat sneaky romance between Grace and Griffin since the first time we met him. He was one of the bodyguards for the Black Swan Team as they danced up the town between missions.
That relationship is now out in the open and hotter than ever, but it’s time to meet the parents. Fortunately Griffin’s grandparents are lovely people who immediately love Grace, unfortunately his mother has other plans.
Aside from family Griffin also wants Grace to meet his best friends Beauregard ‘Wrench’ Johnson, Jr. and ‘Norie’ Mildred ‘Missie’ Eleanor Brittonridge. The meeting with Wrench was funny and full of younger escapades, however the first meeting with Norie included his mother and a rather uncomfortable social setting.
Norie also has a problem, she really isn’t on board with all the plans her parents and Griffin’s are making. She’s in love with someone else.
Full of fun, family angst and karma. Don’t miss this sexy installment to the Black Swan Series.
For those readers who have read other books in the Black Swan series, I should say straight off that there are no Black Ops, terrorists or any kind of military action in this story. It is merely Griffin taking Grace home to Georgia to meet his family, sounds boring right? Wrong! I couldn’t put it down. I intended to read a chapter before bed, a big mistake as I found myself reading through the night until I finished it shortly after 3am! Recommended read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Choosing Love: Grace & Griffin by KaLyn Cooper is an awesome feel-good read. Ms. Cooper has provided us with a well-written book loaded with fantastic, lovable characters. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Griffin and Grace’s story is kind of calming. There is no action or violence. Griffin takes Grace home to Georgia to meet his family. There is drama, humor and sexy bits that will keep readers wrapped up in this story. I especially liked the humor and Griffin’s grandparents. Choosing Love: Grace & Griffin is book 8 of the Black Swan Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

I absolutely loved Grace and Griffin’s story so I am very happy to return to this couple and find out what is going on with them. This story has to do with Griffin bringing Grace home to meet the parents. Now for some people, this shouldn’t be a big deal but it is to Griffin’s mom. Griffin comes from a very rich family who has certain expectations for their son and Grace doesn’t fit into the mold.
I feel like Griffin was in a hard place with is mother. He was trying to keep things civilized and kept thinking that he could just say no to his mother and she would accept it. He also seemed quiet oblivious to the whole Norie situation. I liked when he was made aware of what was going on, he tried to do right by Norie.
I already really liked Grace even before this book however my respect went through the roof with her in this book. She could have been portrayed as this jealous girlfriend but she was very secure in her relationship with Griffin. Even when his mother is doing everything in her power to make her feel inadequate she didn’t. I loved that she understood Griffin’s need to attend certain functions and the social etiquette with them and she handled it with such grace.
I think the best part of this book was that everyone who deserved to get a happy ending did!!!
