A Love You So StoryBen Shane has it all… and he’d like to give some of it back. While he loves his job heading a foundation that funds worthy causes around the world, his engagement to one of America’s wealthiest men leaves him feeling more like a trophy wife than a valued partner. The first warning that his relationship might not be designed to last is his irresistible lust for Dusty Kincaid, … Kincaid, the golden-haired, bright-eyed handyman for his company.
Though Dusty is odd for a twenty-three-year-old—no liquor, no sugar, and he can’t even drive—the more Ben gets to know Dusty, the more he admires him. But is Ben going to give up a guy who drives a Ferrari for one who takes the bus? He must be mad. Dusty knows he and Ben can never work. After all, Ben’s perfect… and Dusty isn’t. But Ben might surprise everyone with proof that he’s only mad in love.

Opposites attract, instant attraction, MM romance, all the emotions with the extra Tara Lain magic. Page turner and easy to read with fantastic characters. I really loved Dusty and Ben and loved how they had to find a way to be together as they were always meant to be.
Never settle for easy, deep dive for right! Ben, is Blessed! He is head of the Clearwater Foundation and diligently works as if he is. Alan, his fiance, has a full set of silver flatware in his mouth and is not acquainted with the concept of working hard. Ben spent his time, woolgathering about the hot construction guys, especially Dusty. He speculates what he could do with Alan’s money, then he rinses under the cold water of reality. Ben will have to make some serious decisions soon. Wealthy Alan or hard working Dusty? That is if, he talks to Dusty. Will Dusty respond? Will Ben require more from Alan? Good story! Nicely drawn out. The story is not so much a struggle, as an awakening. Well done! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Craig is the ultimate plain Jane with low self esteem and a lot of responsibility. I think most of us have been in his shoes once or twice when a co-worker take all of the credit for our ideas. Well, Craig finally had enough and plans to make a change. And, up pops Jessie.
The story is told from Craig’s POV which leaves Jessie an enigma. He is young, smart and hot and so willing to be the bottom for Craig. Kudos to Jessie for hanging in there and walking when Craig crosses a line. I totally wanted Craig to have his pretty woman moment and yass! It happened.
There is a whole lot of insta-like and an over the top HFN but I don’t care. I was so entertained by the story I bought the audiobook so I could listen to it while I work.
The narrator totally nailed Jessie’s voice. Seriously. This is the closest to being turned on by a voice I’ve come in years. Oh gosh, the Jessie giggle is great and gave me shivers in a good way. Lol I’m happy I picked up the audiobook so i can enjoy Ry Forest’s performance.
It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what went wrong for me in Love You So Madly, as I simply never gelled with it. This is the second standalone in the Love You So Stories and features the same narrator as the first book. Whenever I start a book by this author, I know I’m guaranteed relative low angst and a very sweet romance. Unfortunately in Love You So Madly, things got much too sweet and the characters were a bit too passive. Those elements combined with a lulling tempo meant I repeatedly lost interest in this couple and found my attention pulled elsewhere.
Typically, I like romances where characters readjust from a relationship that isn’t good from them to find their happily ever after. However, in Love You so Madly, I spent far too much of the book watching Ben spin his wheels in a loveless engagement and too little time seeing things significantly develop between Ben and Dusty. Once the two were together, things moved very fast and I really never saw their relationship build. Overall, Love You So Madly featured likable characters and a sweet story with a good narrator, but was more of a miss than a hit for me.
