We’ve come to the end of this amazing series by Kelly Elliott and I’m not going to lie, I’m a little sad because I’m going to miss the Parker family something fierce…especially Chloe and Patches!!!
In this book we get Trevor’s story and it’s a doozy!! He’s the youngest Parker and to say he’s lived his life appreciating the opposite sex is an understatement. Trevor has quit the reputation in Oak Springs. But what no one knows is that his heart has always belonged to Scarlett…even Trevor doesn’t admit to himself until it’s almost too late…

The pull towards each other has been there since Trevor and Scarlett were young children and as much as they have a chemistry that’s undeniable, there’s a few obstacles in their way that at times had me wanting to slap someone upside their head!
Watching these two find their way to a love that knows no bounds put me through my emotional paces. I mean at times I was swooning, other times I was fanning myself because they know how to deliver the heat and a few times I shed a tear…when you read the book you’ll understand exactly what I’m talking about.
One thing I’ve loved about every single book in this series the ever present Parker family and how they are there for each other no matter what, even if it’s tough love sometimes….
“If you don’t want her, let her go Trevor. If you do want her and can see a future with her, then do something about it.”
Not for nothing, Scarlett truly made Trevor work for their love. Her feelings for him have always been strong and she wanted more than anything to have a future with him, but she’s been hurt by him in the past and she’s not sure her heart can stand to be permanently broken, because the stakes are so much higher right now…

What it all comes down to is that love, the most beautiful of all emotions, has a way of winning in the end even if it looks different than what they envisioned it to be. And through it all, the shenanigans of the entire family was every present. I found myself snort laughing on several occasions wishing I was part of this family because when you have a family like the Parkers do, you’re never alone and there’s always someone that has your back.

Reckless Love was another great addition to the Cowboy and Angels Series by Kelly Elliott.
I am truly sad to see this series come to an end!! I have loved each and every book in this series. Reckless Love is no exception! This one is actually one of my favorites of the whole series. I felt connected to the storyline and could totally relate to some of the storyline that unfolds in this book. I don’t want to say what it is because I feel that’s a spoiler, but just know this book holds a special place in my heart!!

I was kind of nervous to read Trevor’s story. I wasn’t sure if Kelly Elliott could make Trevor redeemable after some of his past actions. I have to be honest I did want to smack him around a couple times and tell him to wake up, but I was so happy it didn’t take him too long to realize what he had right in front of him. I was so glad to see Trevor redeem himself in this story. I also LOVED Scarlett….My heart broke for her on many occasions but I thought she was a good fit for Trevor.
As with all the past books in this series, Reckless Love is not really a standalone novel. Yes each book is about a new couple but this all revolves around the Parker family and the main story keeps going from story to story. This is a series I would definitely recommend reading in order to enjoy the full effect the Parker Siblings have. This story is told in Dual POV and I thought the flow and pace of the story worked well. I always get swept up in Kelly’s books.
Reckless Love is the 7th and final book in this series and it follows Trevor and Scarlett’s story. Trevor is the youngest sibling in the Parker family. He is the town playboy and loves working on his family’s ranch. Never one to want to settle down he is knocked for a loop when he met Scarlett at a young age. Completely drawn to her but afraid to commit to her he kind of plays with her feelings. Scarlett is totally in love with Trevor but is tired of the rollercoaster ride he keeps taking her heart on. Determined to move on, she is shocked when she gets some life changing news. Can Trevor and Scarlett get there HEA? Can Trevor really commit to one woman?? And can Scarlett ever really trust Trevor?? Read this book to find out.
I again enjoyed seeing all of the Parker siblings in this story and the people who they fell in love with. This family truly knows how to bring the comic relief to this series. Again I am sad this is the last book in this series but I thought this was the perfect ending!! I will miss the Parker Family!!
If you are a fan of family saga series, this is one you don’t want to miss!!!
