Faith, Love, and Devotion: Book One
Reeling from the recent death of his wife, police officer Evan Cerelli looks at his four children and can only see how he fails them. His loving wife was the caretaker and nurturer, and now the single father feels himself being crushed by the pain of loss and the heavy responsibility of raising his kids.
At the urging of his partner, Evan celebrates a … partner, Evan celebrates a coworker’s retirement and meets disgraced former cop turned security consultant Matt Haight. A friendship born out of loneliness and the solace of the bottle turns out to be exactly what they both need.
The past year has been a slow death for Matt Haight. Ostracized from his beloved police force, facing middle age and perpetual loneliness, Matt sees only a black hole where his future should be. When he discovers another lost soul in Evan, some of the pieces he thought he lost start to fall back in place. Their friendship turns into something deeper, but love is the last thing either man expected, and both of them struggle to reconcile their new and overwhelming feelings for one another.

I bought this book as a paperback. (I prefer reading books vs ebooks.) I was so excited to read the other books in the series, I bought the ebook versions because I was too impatient to wait for paperbacks to arrive! Faith & Fidelity Tere Michaels

M – M (First time) romance. First book in the Faith, Love, and Devotion series.
This starts out devastating with the death and funeral of Evan’s wife of twenty years. Then Evan and Matt find themselves attracted to each other when they’ve never had any other experience but women. It’s a confusing time for both …
Frustratingly All-Consuming!!!
The Up’s and Down’s will drive you crazy, but you won’t stop reading… guaranteed!
The rollercoaster ride the author sends us on, in this intoxicating GFY romance, is nothing short of fabulous.
I was giddy over their encounters and so very invested in their hea.
Loved it!!!
I read the series because I wanted to know what happened as a family wish I had the series to read again
I loved it

I’m not a big fan of straight to gay, it’s hard for me as a gay man to believe life changes so radically in your forties, but this is fiction and as such it’s very well written fiction and the characters seemed real to me which is a plus. Evan, a cop, and Matt, an ex-cop, are two straight guys, Evan is a widower with four kids and still missing …
Never a disappointing read!
This series is one I will read again, and again.
