I could definitely use a Buck! 🙂 His determination to help Beatrix was one of the most risky so far in this series. His gift is indeed special and his method to draw her is so out of his character that even his brothers could see his disinterest. She already notices him, she is just a little career-focused. He balances her, calms her, boldly makes his intentions toward her known and takes him time convincing her that he will have no other. Another great addition to this series!
Alien mail order brides. The setting is a series of ComCons. This is Buck and Bea’s story. An alien finding his way and a graphic artist seeking her future. A romance, friendship, and another voyage of discovery. A standalone story but so much better when read in a series. Love the series. Bravo!!
I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The Artist and the Alien. Buck immediately wants Bea for his mate. He is the opposite of her as he is an extrovert. But even shy Bea learns from Buck as he helps her at the Comic con. After a lot of obstacles, they click and get their happily ever after.
Hold on tight for another fun, entertaining roller-coaster ride in the fantastic world of Stargazer, Alien Mail Order Brides! This latest lovable alien is “Buck” and what a phenomenal book that grabbed me from the start & held on tight through the end! … Tasha Black consistently exceeds my expectations with each new story she writes as she breathes life into her characters. Contemporary romance that sizzles, a bit of suspense, a touch of PNR; Witty dialogue, well defined, relatable characters and amazing attention to detail will keep readers engaged & turning pages! Even tho I volunteered to read this in advance, I also bought my own kindle book to keep in my favorites forever folder 🙂 So yes, I honestly recommend this to adult fans of fiction and I can’t wait for more, but I will!
A “Gift of the Magi” at ComicCon
Tasha Black channeled her inner O Henry to give us a sweet and sexy tale of love and sacrifice, starring shy graphic novelist Beatrix, and Buck, gorgeous undercover alien from Aerie. Beatrix, with Buck and friends, is ‘on’ at ComicCon Baltimore, where she’s trying to build her fan base and secure funding for the movie adaptation of her cult hit graphic novel. Buck, who’s on the run from the human science lab in Stargazer, PA is along, trying to blend in until he ‘clicks’ with Beatrix and can be her forever human mate and lover. She’s not so sure that’s gonna happen. Strange exhibits, wild parties, drawing classes, intergalactic gladiators, and a nasty vengeful Hollywood big-wig are only a few of the odd obstacles in their way. The real issue is that Beatrix is too shy to handle the celebrity of an alien hubby (’cause every woman wants one, don’t you know) and Buck needs to lay low (Hello – escaped from a lab, remember?) but … No spoilers. Just know that author Tasha Black’s HEA for this one would do O Henry proud, not to mention making readers just deliriously happy.
fun addition to series
Door To Love…..
Buck never imagined that this new and wonderful world he was thrust into would be so wonderful and he loves to interact with everyone around him they are all so friendly and willing to get to know him. Problem is the one he really wants to be outgoing and giving to him is the less likely to do it and he makes it his mission on earth to bring her out of her shell and learn how wonderful for the world she is, but especially for him . Even if that means putting himself out there for the woman he’s fallen in love with.
Beatrice is as introvert as a person can get, the only way she knows to interact with people is through her comics and she’s even having a problem getting her message out there that way… Only person that seems to get it is Buck and it seems she’s managing to push him away too. He doesn’t want to be in the limelight and that may just be where she’s putting him.
Will these two lovebirds come to realize that sacrifices are made for love all the time?
Another Alien romance that combines humor and a sweetness along with the very manly newcomer to earth. Underlying the romance and finding their human mate, there is a serious consequence for failure.
Buck is hot. Really hot. He is also totally devoted to Beatrix. How to deal with new emotions including jealousy is not an easy task. His efforts could have dire consequences to not only him.
Her shyness doesn’t match her artistic talent. Can she move on in her career with the movers and shakers to further that career and a what cost?
When they both work at odds to help the other it is an awakening to their feeling–but will it be too late?
One thing you can count on from Ms. Black’s stories, you’ll find touching characters that you’ll fall in love with while you read about their romance. Another book that brings a smile to your face at the end of the story.
I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
