Malcolm and I met in an unfortunate way, and he has pushed himself into my life. When my drunk best friend invites him to her wedding as my date, I reluctantly give him a chance. I’m giving US a chance and I’m pleasantly surprised.

Short, sweet and HOT story by new to me author Tarrah Anders! I loved the meet-cute in the beginning when Rebeckha and Malcolm first meet. I enjoyed this quick story.
I liked the narrators as well. Lessa is new to me. I thought she did a great job. Both Patrick and Lessa did a fabulous job with the accents in this story too!
Wow! I really enjoyed this on audio! Leesa Lamb and Patrick Zeller did an amazing job on the Aussie accent. The transition between them was seamless!
There was so much more to this book. With the title Stripped I wondered if I would enjoy this book. Because the synopsis sounded so interesting, I gave it a go. This gave me the insight to the other side of the coin. I can concur with Rebeckha, that because of his job, trust and not being jealous are the two most difficult emotions to deal with. A huge struggle for anyone ( what would Malcolm think if the situation was reversed). Then add in what other people think….that takes some serious thinking.
I enjoyed reading Malcom’s ideas and thoughts of this whole process. I was kinda surprised at how easy going he was about some of the issues that Rebeckha had. He was very compassionate. His friends seem very nice and fun loving guys. Their banter is fun to read.
Overall I loved listening to this. The narrators really brought the emotions and there set the story to new highs. Well done. I look forward to the next in the series.
Fabulous Story & Narration Sweet & Spicy
Stripped
The Night Moves, Book 1
By: Tarrah Anders
Narrated by: Lessa Lamb & Patrick Zeller
This is a delightful book and I enjoyed every minute of it. Tarrah Anders is gifted author, she creates original stories that grabbed your attention right from the start and holds it captive straight to the end. Her characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with. I adored both leads in this book, Rebeckha (Beck) & Malcolm and their story starts out with a bang, or more like a crash. Their first meeting is not the best of circumstances but Malcolm does try to lighten up the situation and does do the right thing by fixing Beck’s Boxy. Malcolm wants to get to know Beck but she is not sure, she thinks he looks familiar but can not place him. It is not until she is out at a club celebrating her friends bachelorette party, she recognizes him as soon as he steps on stage, he is a dancer and stripper. He sees her in the audience and gives her one hot, provocative dance. I thought these two were great together and for each other. Malcolm is nice, down to earth guy but can Beck get past the green eyed monster who takes over when she thinks of all the woman gawking and wanting him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it may be labeled as a novella sized book but it packs a whole lot of story, one that is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is drama, some great humor, some heartfelt moments and some hot romance. Tarrah Anders, thank you for another fabulously entertaining and enjoyable story.
I listened to the Audible edition, Lessa Lamb and Patrick Zeller are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They were perfectly casted to bring Tarrah Anders’ story to life. They did an amazing job portraying and humanizing the characters, giving each their own voice and personality. Lessa Lamb’s Rebeckha was perfection, Patrick Zeller’s Malcolm was too, what great job with the accent. They truly grasped their character’s persona and sounded as I pictured them to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen
Rebeckha is having the worst day of her life when she loses her job and then ends up being rear ended by Malcolm. Malcolm thinks she is hot and immediately tries to get her to go out with him. Beck is not feeling it. Mal is going to make it right and offers to have his buddy fix her car. Can Beck get past the fact that Mal is a dancer?
This was my first read by Tarrah Anders but what a fun introduction. The banter between these characters was great. Couldn’t help but fall in love with Malcolm and his sexy down under accent. Great secondary characters I hope to learn more about. If you are looking for a fun, light read grabbed Stripped.
This will ‘strip’ your preconceived notions & win your heart
I read The Night Manager and wanted to read Rebeckha & Malcom’s story. Malcom is what you fantasize about. Sweet, sexy, devoted. Rebeckha is like us. Smart, sassy, intimidated by the hotness of this dreamboat she’s attracted. As he, and eventually she, work towards his dream, he also works on making her see his devotion to her. Absolutely delicious! From their meet cute crash to her learning there’s more to him than ‘stripping’…I loved exploring their little corner of Vegas in their bookiverse. I’m glad I grabbed it to read. It leaves me feeling all the happy!
It started out as one of the worst days of her life, but turns into flirty text and a subsequent, albeit, unintentional meet up. A little booze, some flirty words and bam! You are now working yourselves into each others lives. I mean, who doesn’t want a hot guy who knows how to put on stripper move to be yours and yours alone? Mal and Beck are awesome together know how to have some steamy fun times. It’s great when they’re able to develop int something deeper, because Mail isn’t just another pretty face (and hot body). The banter back and forth is fun peek into what’s going on with these two, and makes for a very entertaining read.
Loved Stripped …. It’s an incredible read….. it’s hottttttt and sweet the best of both worlds!!!!!!!
This is my First book by Tarrah Anders and I not only fell in love with the characters in Stripped but also with her writing. Malcolm and Rebeckha bump into each other in a fashion and from then on it is hard for them to stop thinking of the other. Persistence pays off and Malcolm finally gets a date with the girl but things don’t go so smooth when Beck struggles with his job and the insecurities that it brings to the surface. Their story is such a relatable one, with all of us knowing how sometimes the green eyed monster can play havoc with our heart and our head. Stripped is about falling in love and learning that trust plays a huge part of that. This book is witty, full of angst, hot and steamy and at times so romantic and heartfelt it will bring you to your knees. Let’s just say Stripped just introduced me to my new book boyfriend, Malcolm Jane.
