Riding Blind is book three in J.L. Sheppard’s Hell Ryders MC series.
This book is the story of Bryce “Ripper” Knight and Emelia “Em” Kenna and holy cow what a story! A fantastic story of a love lost and then found five years later. Ripper and Em have a lot of twist and turns, truths and lies, a huge misunderstanding, a rival gangs threats and an even bigger secret to wade through before they can ever get their HEA.
Can these two overcome everything to get what they really want….each other? Grab this book and find out for yourself!!
This was an awesome second chance romance and my favorite book out of this series so far! Totally loved the ending and I look forward to more in the series!
We saw in the previous books that Ripper was hurt, life changingly so, when Emilia left him 5 years earlier. As the cousin to Chip, President of one of their former rivals, one they were slowly starting to mend fences with, Ripper is surprised when Chip sends word that he knows where Em is and that he needs to go find and protect her. Ripper isn’t prepared for what he finds when they are reunited though as it turns out Em didn’t just take herself away from Ripper, she took his daughter too.
Oh I loved this one. I enjoyed the first two books a lot but this is my favourite so far. I was glued to it all day with the drama of would whoever was after Chip find Em? Would Em and Ripper manage to sort out their issues and find a way to raise Bree together? Would the rest of the Hell Ryders accept Em after the pain she caused their brother? And that’s not all of it, this really was drama filled but of course with plenty of the romance side too. I still can’t get used to it keep saying doors parted though as its such an odd saying but I can’t wait for the next one and give Riding Blind 5 stars.
Well first off let me say I haven’t read any of the books in this series and was able to get into this read with a quickness. First off I loved this author’s MC books. Her MC’s are not nearly as crazy as some I have read but the guys are the epitome of whipped by their women. They are the only ones that can control and love these guys. Rip was a turd, all the anger from her leaving him with no word. There is so much betrayal and emotions in this book it is crazy. I started reading and got mad any time I was interrupted, then finally locked myself away so I could finish it. Reading the pain and miscommunication between these two is painful. The undercurrent is thick with stuff and so is the book. I need a strong drink and to cuddle with my teddy bear now that I’m done.
Love this author, she has a way about her that draws you in and wont let you go. It’s a story worth reading that has action and intrigue and so much emotion in each chapter. I can’t tell you how many times I wanted to reach into my kindle and choke someone, anyone.
