Liam Walsh is just a roommate.Maybe if Charlie St. James repeats it enough, she’ll stop lusting after him. Not that it matters how she feels anyway, because Liam will always see her as one of the boys. Hell, he’s the one who gave her the nickname Charlie as a joke.Well, the joke’s on her.Now that she is confined to less than 1,000 square feet with him, she can’t stop thinking about how it would … thinking about how it would feel to get just a little bit closer.
Charlie St. James is off limits.
She’s been Liam Walsh’s best friend since grade school. He thought it wouldn’t be a big deal to let her crash with him when she needed a place to stay, but he was dead wrong. Knowing only a thin wall separates them when they sleep, that she’s naked in the shower while he lays in bed fantasizing about her, is unbearable.
When their cozy two bedroom goes from friend zone to war zone, they’ll either burn up the sheets or go down in flames.

Charlie and Liam were both stuck in limbo, trying to deny their feelings towards each other and both were putting up a fight, resisting with all that they were. I liked being on the sidelines of these two and watching them slowly lose the battle of wills. Their chemistry was scorching hot. I loved how in them being friends for so long, that Liam just “knew” Charlie better than even herself. I loved the dual point of views and the secondary characters compliment the storyline very well. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
Charlie and Liam are just adorable together. They have been friends forever and when she has to move in with him when her ex trashes her apartment, they get even closer. They resist the pull for something more, but ultimately give in to their feelings. Will they be able to make it, when graduation, careers, and doubts start to play in the picture? This is a sweet and steamy friends to lovers story. Liam and Charlie are relatable and likable characters that you root for the entire book. You can feel their friendship before they even realize there’s something more between them. And you feel it throughout the story. I love that the conflict was realistic and not something that would never happen in real life. Great story, I highly recommend it.
For so long Charlie has been known as just one of the guys, often sitting beside Liam and friends at the bar slinging back drinks, and up and until now it’s worked just fine. But somewhere along the line, without either realizing it, they both started to harbor secret feelings for one another, both thinking the other had no interest in romance. But now that Charlie is single, and about to embark on a trip of a lifetime to do mission work, Liam realizes just how much he wants more from her, and it couldn’t possibly come at a worse time. But making his feelings known could put their friendship at risk… now he has to decide if it’s worth the risk?
Friend Zone was a sexy little page turner that gripped my attention from the first page and held it tightly until the last, once I got started I just couldn’t let these characters go! This was quite an pleasurable read, loaded with feels to squeeze the heart, and steamy action to bring on the swoons, I truly enjoyed every single second of it! The story line was engaging, the characters came with a realistic feel, and the words were well crafted, friends-to-lovers fans will love it. Highly recommend this one!!

I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance. Sweet, fun and filled with deep emotions, Liam and Charlie’s story quickly captures your interest and holds it easily. These two were just so perfect together, that you almost instantly find yourself emotionally invested in them and rooting for their HEA every step of the way. I am posting a completely voluntary and totally honest review.
Such a sweet ‘friends to lovers’ story. The one thing I loved was Charlie and Liam’s relationship. They have been friends since childhood and know everything about each other. But when Charlie dumps her boyfriend, things turn ugly and Liam swoops in to save the day with a kiss. That kiss changes the dynamics of their friendship to something more. These two slowly but surely find love and it was definitely worth the read.

“There was only her. It had taken me most of my life to really see her. And now it was like I only had eyes for her.”
A sweet and endearing friends to lovers with likable characters with adorable flaws. Trying to find themselves, plan for the future, and repair the past, they struggled with their feelings in an up and down rollercoaster. I enjoyed Charlie and Liam’s fall, worried they wouldn’t make it, and throughout the ending, I legit had tears!! A swoonworthy and fun read! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
“I was too close to asking him to stay. Too close to taking another kiss. Too close to wondering what it’d feel like to have his hands bring me to the edge instead of my own.”

Liam and Charlie have been friends forever, almost best friends, but that is all they have been. One kiss changes everything. It takes one kiss for the two of them to realize maybe there is something more there. But being scared of losing what they already have, they both play it cool. Until Charlie needs a place to stay, and ends up staying with Liam. Now the two are in contact constantly, and there is only so much a person can take before they break…. will the two be able to stay apart, or will they throw caution to the wind and take the chance?
For me, I found this to be just OK. There was some major drama, in fact there was so much drama, that it overshadowed the real issue. It was like the extra drama was needed as filler, and it was actually a bit boring, and by the time we got back to the issues at hand you weren’t really interested anymore. Drama, some sad issues, the sexy times were good and that saved the rating. I give this 3.5 stars.
Well this is definitely a different type of book than Nicole Blanchard’s First to Flight Series, but I surprisingly enjoyed it. It’s definitely a young love story, Liam and Charlie are in college and have been best friends for years. Charlie’s father passed away a few years earlier and her own mother had abandoned her when her dad got sick, so Liam and his family were her second family since she had no one left. I found this story to be very heartwarming, great chemistry between these two friends to lovers, and Grandma Dorothy just melted my heart. A lot of tough subject matter for these two young people to deal with and come to terms with, but I loved how the story turns out. Honestly, not sure if I could have reacted the same to a woman who up and abandoned me in my time of need, especially when her father was very sick. But Charlie is a pretty incredible young lady. Definitely worth the read.

Sweetly sexy, emotionally charged, action packed friends to so much more romantic journey filled with a passion to long denied……
Charlie St. James has been best friends with Liam Walsh since grade school and has lusted after him for it seems like forever to be stuck in the friend zone sucks…. Things in her life radically change however when she needs a place to stay and he offers to be her roommate. Loved every heart pounding and exciting twist in this fun journey.
I have been looking forward to this book coming out. Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Liam and Charlie were the perfect couple. Yeah they had their ups and downs but who doesn’t. They have been the best of friends for years and have gone through so much together. So much in fact that Liam’s family is like a second family to Charlie. The number one down fall I read between the two of them was their communication skills. They just weren’t able to tell each other the important things right away, which brought on so much of their downfalls. Luckily they were able to over come their issues and find their HEA. I love how this book was a standalone but that it hinted at more to come. I’m looking forward to continuing with this series and getting to really know the rest of the characters that we met in Friend Zone, along with catching up with Liam and Charlie.
