This book helped remind me that traumatic events impact people differently. We should never judge another person because we cannot truly understand their inner landscape. It’s not about intelligence, it’s not about will power–it’s about understanding and empathy. All of this hidden in an adventure.

The twists, and turns will keep you turning pages as you are surprised with things you did not see coming.
I think you will really enjoy the adventure, I know I did!!
Archeological Thrillers are on of my favorite genres, and having listened to The Rhapta Key, I’ve now discovered a new series/heroine I’m wanting to follow. Not only was this story action-packed, but it painted such a vivid picture I could almost imagine it as a movie. Alex Hunt is a character who has her flaws but is capable of overcoming most of them when she has no alternative. Gary Bennett’s narration really brought this story to life, each of his voices fit the character.
Was not really believable. Not a great read.
A bit of history mixed with improbable adventure. I was disappointed at the negative portrayal of foreign cultures.
I didn’t finish it…no interest.
The author should check her facts…e.g. definition of the ” bends”. The characters are poorly developed and the plot is too far fetched.
Just a really good read,
If you like Lara Croft…. You will Love Alex Hunt!
