Working at Tailor Made is the perfect arrangement: all the perks of dating without the commitment. Between school, two jobs and raising my sister, I don’t have time for relationships, nor the demands that come with them. Then a client books me for a night out and I know, one night will never be enough. What’s supposed to be a simple date, just a job, flips my world upside down.
Sometimes the perfect fit comes along when you least expect it.

I really loved this book for the first half. Great characters and an interesting premise. But then some plot inconsistencies started to bug me, some major plot holes opened up, and random scenes that detracted from the overarching story for no apparent reason started to appear, and I really lost interest. I did get through it, but was left disappointed. This book needs a really good editor to chop away about 30% of the content, and then there will be an excellent story that readers will adore.
Tailor Made is the story of a woman who needs to regain a bit of her confidence and does so after a friend suggests that she goes on a date with a man from Tailor Made. The concept of dating site, Tailor Made, is brilliant. Basically, you can create the perfect man and the perfect date. Tasha Lewis’ unique twist on this type of dating is one that had me intrigued from the beginning.
However, I only gave this book 3/5 stars because it just wasn’t my particular style. This probably sounds bad, but I’m trying to be completely honest, the book was a bit too tame for me. Meaning, if it had a movie rating, it would be PG, and I’m more of a non-rated kind of girl.
The story itself was sweet and romantic and I think that that is all one can ask of a romance author. So, while I may not completely love the book, it would get a recommendation from me to those who are into this kind of story.
