Xavier Neal sucks me into her stories every single time. I didn’t even know anything about Pogs before this book, but I sure do now. I love Oliver Shaw, and he is now my favorite Shaw brother in the Must Love series. He’s not like his brothers – he’s got OCD issues, he isn’t into sports, he isn’t into farming, getting dirty, or farm animals – he’s my ideal guy! What he is into is his family. Unfortunately, being different makes him feel like an outsider in his own family, but he’s still loyal to every one of them and puts everyone else first. When an Extreme Sports Blogger – London, aka Little L, first made famous because of her dad — comes to Oliver’s rescue at his high school reunion, it’s definitely a case of opposites attract. I absolutely adored this couple. Their story was fun, funny, romantic, extremely hot, but also a little sad at times. The entire Shaw family is fun to read about, and don’t even get me started on mom and pop Shaw – they are hilarious! Warning: lots of down and dirty lovemaking throughout.
Love this series.
Loved eddie and siennas amazing beautiful intense emotional loves story.Love the Shaw brothers.more plz
This is my favorite of the series so far!
Opposites attract is definitely the case here! Lobos & Oliver are my favorite couple!!
Really enjoyed this story. It felt a little different – but maybe because Oliver is a little different than the rest of the Shaw family. Loved seeing the play between him and London and how they both worked to make the other person better. Loved the cameos from the rest of the Shaw family and am falling more in love with the parents in each book!
Loved this story of 2 people who are so totally different from each other, but so totally right for each other. It’s his ying to her yang.
My favorite line is,
“And I don’t just want you. I need you in my life. You are the light that keeps me from dying in the dark.”
A cute quirky story about life not needing to be lived a certain way. The hero is a by the book tech guy, while the heroine is more of a holistic new age woman. Take a chance and see how opposites attract in this cute love story, and swoon over how sweet Oliver is
Omg I haven’t played that game since I was younger, and my younger brother would play too. He was the one who collected them and we would play until we got bored. So reading this part made me smile and laugh. I also have to say I loved London she was a rockstar having to put up with those crazy halfsisters, I should know I’m dealing with a few of half siblings right now. Anyway this book/series was amazing and it keep going in that direction. I keep being pulled in some other world and I’m okay with that. I can’t wait for the next installment.
I love this series Must Love Pogs is book #3 in the Must Love Series. Each book keeps getting better and better with each new characters that are introduced in the series. Oliver Shaw is one of the Shaw brothers who is different from his siblings. He isn’t into a lot of things like farming on the family’s farm and not much of a sports person either. He is smart and sexy he is one of the Shaw brother’s favorite character that I like the most. London was also smart and another lovable character that I enjoyed she was a sports blogger who followed up on the sports her dad is real famous. I liked how when these two met they were great together. I highly recommend this series if you love hot demanding sexy brothers.
** I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book **
“Everything in life happens exactly when it’s supposed to. Can’t rush the good and shouldn’t want to anyway. Life is about enjoyin’ not finishin’.”
I believe that is the best line in the book to describe Oliver and London. They both are always striving for something to achieve a goal. Always trying to prove they are worthy of their family and to no longer be the outcast. While each are different as night and day, they have an unexplainable chemistry that just pulls them together. Similarities that are bone deep. They bring out the best in one another despite the differences.
The great thing about Xavier Neal’s books is how they all are heartfelt and more real than fiction. I truly could see this book happening in real life.
Oliver thinks he doesn’t fit in with the rest of his family. The odd ball. He’s a hot computer nerd who happens to have a southern accent. YUMMY!! I felt myself gravitate towards him more than London. I loved him from the beginning.
London is big in the sports world. Smart, sassy and sexy. I liked her character. These two are the complete opposite but as they say opposites attract.
Oliver and London were AHHHHMAZING!!!!! I wish I could lose my memory so i could read it again for the first time!!!! Xavier, you KILL ME EVERY TIME!!!!!!
Oliver and London are from opposite sides of world. She’s a jet setter going all over the world for her job. Oliver is a kinda of liner, feels left out from his own famil, and has a little ocd. When they meet its boom and it goes from there. When they don’t see eye to eye will they let that rip them apart or will they make it. Work. This book was amazing had me laughing, and almost crying. It has a lit of feels and is amazing. Can’t wait for the next one.
Must Love Pogs (Must Love Series Book 3) by Xavier Neal is an excellent read. This book features the romance between Oliver and London. This great book is well written, has a engaging storyline and a wonderful cast of characters. I loved the deep emotional depths of these characters. I love London and Oliver. They are an amazing couple that bring out a whole other side to each other. A fun, opposites attract story that is full of humor, passion, tenderness, charm, sweetness and love. I recommend this book and the others in this series. These books are perfect for readers that love their romance with humor and charm but also a good dose of heat.
Wow.. another amazing read by Xavier Neal. I don’t know how she does it every time but she really finds something that every reader can connect with the characters of the story. I really enjoyed this book as it felt she knew and understood so much of my feelings. London is exactly who Oliver needs to show him that he is loved and he does the same for her. He shows her that there is more to life than high action high adrenaline sports and she opens a new world to him as well. I swear I finished this book in one reading and even went as far as reading and walking to work as I couldn’t put it down..
This is a great love story of opposites attracting! Strong female character who doesn’t put up with much but quickly realizes what she wants and just isn’t sure she’s ready to admit it! Of course there are ups and downs like any other typical relationship, but you are left cheering on the sidelines for them!
I’m always excited to read Xavier’s books, I love her style of writing, it’s so real and has a way of sucking you right into the story. This book is no exception, from the very first line you’ll be hooked. So far I have loved everyone of the brothers but I think Oliver has to be my favourite so far. I love how real he is, how insecure and yet determine he is. London is brilliant, she is what most of us would love to be, free spirited, doing what she loves, not caring what people think. I loved how different Oliver and London are and yet how well they compliment each other. Watching their relationship develop and grow was amazing, seeing the little changes and compromises they each happily made to make each other happy was inspiring. Lets not forget Mama and Pop, their wisdom knows no boundaries, that and the fact I totally relate to them! ( I have a similar relationship with my sons) LOL. I can’t wait for Must Love Logs next.
Must say this was my favorite out of the series! Love is messy and chaotic, doesn’t always make sense, but it just works! Oliver doesn’t fit in anywhere. London fit’s in everywhere, the daughter of a Famous B ball player, everyone knows her! But do they really? She keeps her distance from real relationships But when she saves Oliver at his reunion the writing is on the wall! How can a free spirit and an OCD addict work? Compromise, lot’s of work and hot monkey sex! You HAVE to read this love story!
“Must Love Pogs” is the third book in the “Must Love Series”, while it can be read as a standalone, it reads better if read in order.
This story follows the Shaw brothers, this is Oliver’s story. Out of the three books in this series, I can identify most with Oliver. From feeling like the black sheep or outcast of the family, to dealing with anxiety and OCD. Oliver is a complex character and I think Ms. Neal did a wonderful job capturing his inner and outward struggles without making him seem like a stereotype. While Oliver tugged at my heart strings, London was simply a breath of fresh air. Her free-spirited nature, her go with the flow attitude made her easy to love. Oliver and London are polar opposites but somehow fall in love and forge this beautiful, unconventional relationship. As usual, Ms. Neal wrote this story with heart, it flowed easy and was easy to follow along. The arc had just the right amount of sweet and spicy. I adore this series and I am anxiously awaiting the next installment.
This Must Love Series by Xavier Neal is great. A fun and sexy ride following the Shaw brothers and their antics and searches for love. Each brother I read, I want to know more about and can’t wait for the next one!
