She loves her comfortable and yes simple life. The last thing he needs is the complication of a woman. However, neither can ignore the draw to one another.Amelia Fields moved to Laurel, Wyoming after her fiancé’s sudden death. When the town conspires to play matchmaker between her and the local blacksmith, she does her best to ignore it. Unfortunately, the more she gets to know the quiet man, the … to know the quiet man, the more intriguing the situation becomes.
All Gerard Cullen wants is to live out his days in quiet solitude. Between his work at the stables and helping out where he can, his life is full. The distraction of a woman whom he seems to run into regularly takes him by surprise. What’s worse is that she remains in his thoughts long after each meeting.
****Amelia is part of the Brides For All Seasons world. However, it can be enjoyed as a complete standalone.

Love the Wild West stories!
This was not a good book and I definitely do not recommend it. A story should weave the threads in such a way that everything comes together at the end and the story is finished. That did not happen in this book. It just left me hanging and wondering what happened to that thread that was introduced or that one over there. Disappointing at best.
Good for light reading
Amelia and Gerald make a cute couple! I have a feeling that starting in the middle of a series left me at a disadvantage, but I still felt like there was a sense of history in their little town. A great quick read!
read 5 chapters and could not get interested, do not recommend.
Loved it
I love to read books when the story is set in the early west. Makes me appreciate all the conveniences of today, I am in awe of all they overcome. It’s true in this book also.
Love this author.
Very entertaining!
