I enjoyed reading this. I felt the characters were genuine and realistic. I loved the relationships between the characters. A great romance with a touch of suspense.
Beau and Corrie’s story continues. A great book. Loved it!!
SPEECHLESS!! What a BEAUTIFUL ENDING to Corrie And Beau’s Storytelling in HEAVEN SENT!! It has all the feels with the EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER ride of Epic proportions and such a tear jerker! Of course, HEAVEN SENT takes place 3 years later from HEAVEN BENT!
And you continue to watch their relationship grow and struggle with one another on their feelings as they mature into adult hood. Once you start reading this book, I Could Not Put It in Down and devour it in ONE Sitting.
Definitely a Must Read Book and CANNOT WAIT TO read more from this Author Karen Crompton.
Well we are back at it with Beau and Corrie but things are so much different this time around. As Corrie is making a name for herself and Beau is struggle to be okay staying back in their hometown.
In this book I was still there for this couple and this was another great book for the author. For she really has you really feeling the emotions and it’s like your right in the middle of everything when it comes to her writing.
Heaven Sent is the second in this series. It is about Beau and Corrie, but 3 years after Hell Bent. Corrie has moved to Riverside to be closer to school and her work in an art gallery. She and Heidi moved together and are roommates. Beau is working and living in South Shores. Beau is a little jealous of Corrie smiling and talking to Kody, a bartender at a pub close to her apartment, but you learn how much Beau has grown and changed when it does not end in a fist fight, and Beau finds out some news that will make it all even better. Corrie has a lot going on in this book, and Beau is her biggest supporter. A visit from her Dad, and Beau gets there in time to save her, and he is a huge support system for her. Corrie seems to be doing well with her art and others are learning of her talents and admiring her work. As in any relationship that is long distance, there are going to be misunderstandings and some jealousy – case in point, Corrie with Hannah. Corrie gets more news that she was afraid would turn Beau off of her, but it’s the opposite, and I admit that I thought she was worrying about his reaction with no reason to. The ending was amazing, and exactly what I would have expected. Both of these books about Corrie and Beau kept me enthralled and reading until late at night. Oh it is also great to see the many changes in Heidi once she starts dating Brock. Really hoping the series will continue and maybe more of a spotlight on some of the other supporting characters in the book, although I would definitely read more about Corrie and Beau.
Corrie Johnson has left her home to live with her sister, Heidi, while she completes her final semester at the College of Fine Arts and donating her time to a local gallery. Her relationship with Beau Huntington is strong in spite of the distance between them.
Then one day Corrie’s life is turned upside down with the arrival of an unexpected guest and she must figure out to deal with it while getting support from Beau. Corrie must make a life altering decision about what she wants to do and what feels right to her.
Can Corrie figure out what she needs to do while trusting those around her to support her?
This was such an excellent book with some great twists and turns!
I was happy that Corrie was going to school and succeeding in the art scene and getting noticed. She was very happy although she still had a few insecurities about not being with Beau all the time, which was evident by what went down with Hannah.
Beau’s life was still dedicated to Corrie and I was proud at how far he had come in turning his life around for her. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to protect her and that was so evident in this book!! Loved him!
I was very surprised at the unwanted guest that showed up at Corrie’s and even more surprised by how he talked to her when he wanted something from her. I was happy that Beau arrived at the right time.
I also really liked seeing a change in Heidi in this book that came from dating Brock and how he wouldn’t put up with her pushing him away. I was laughing when Beau thought that Brock’s twin Kody was flirting with Corrie and when he learned the truth.
The incident with Kody was scary and then the revelation about what was said just set certain wheels in motion and I was freaking out for sure!! Beau was such a hero after this and he risked it all for Corrie’s family.
I knew how happy Beau was going to be with Corrie’s news and it made me so happy how everything progressed from there!!
The end was super awesome and I can’t wait for more from this author!
Beau and Corrie three years later, they have their ups and downs. Put they survive and grow through it all. Great story
This is book 2 in the South Shore Beach series. This story continues with Beau and Corrie. It has been 3 years and they are living apart but are still together. They have their ups and downs in their relationship but in the end it all works out. Such a great story.
Heaven Sent by Karen Crompton is book 2 in the South Shore Beach series. This is the continuing story of Beau & Corrie. Three years have passed and they continue to work on their relationship with emotional issues thrown in that are stressful to any relationship but they are there for each other and their love only grows. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it.
I really enjoyed the first book and I am glad that I got to read the continuation. This book shows the main characters growth and it was a very emotional read. Amazing book and definitely recommended.
Continuing to watch this relationship after many (3) years together, Beau and Corrie still have their issues, yet you can really see them growing up. You will have many emotions while reading, plus you get some angst, laughs, daddy issues and pure, real love. The writing is well done and you won’t want to put it down once you start. This is a great series for those who love a push and pull type of romance.
This is a part 2 and so happy that Karen Crompton continued the story. It was wonderful to see how Beau and Corrie continued on and how their relationship became such a wonderful love story. Corrie went through a lot of emotions in this part 2 but Beau was there at every turn to bring her comfort and love. I like how the series ended and glad I went on the roller coaster ride.
