Nothing in my life is the same as before. What have I done? Who have I become?Plagued with inner demons and readjusting to life outside of that stupid reality show house, now I have to ward off Pryce’s relentless advances. He started out as the prize I was competing to win, and somehow, the roles got reversed. Now he’s the cat and I’m the mouse. He’s a Hollywood god, playboy, alpha male, and … mouse.
He’s a Hollywood god, playboy, alpha male, and billionaire celebrity. I’m sure he only did this reality show to boost his popularity with his fans. The last thing I need is to have the paparazzi smear my name through the mud and his fans hate me because they think I don’t come close to being good enough for him. No matter what I say or do, though, he just won’t stay away. And now my sister has become his ally in his mission to win me over.
Now my life has been flipped on its axis, chaos reigns, and I don’t know which way is up or down anymore. Pryce Monroe is dominating my thoughts, actions, and heart. How do I get back to my normal life if he won’t leave me alone? How do I find the strength to keep pushing him away when it would be so easy to pull him closer? And how do I stop myself from giving him the two things I’ve never given any other man?

Pryce and Cheyleigh are a couple you’ll cheer for. It was great to get back in their world and pick up from book 1 left off. I missed not only the couple but the action and drama that comes from “reality” TV book version. It’s a fun series and can’t wait to see what season 3 has in store. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

The book is a good read. The book is the second in the series and there is a third book. As a reader you will need to read the first book in the series. The story does end in a cliffhanger. The characters are good, likable, and well developed.

*note: this book is not a standalone.*
The book picks up with Pryce finishing up the Win A Date reality show and filming his movie and with Cheyleigh having been eliminated from the competition and getting back to “real life”.
Both characters are really likeable and are very well developed. I loved Pryce as he is down to earth and really loves Cheyleigh. I only liked Cheyleigh. She is sweet and kind – almost too perfect and she struggles with low self-esteem. She can’t understand why Pryce would want to be with her and is worried about dating him and him breaking her heart. The book told from dual POV which I alway love because I get to see inside the minds of both characters. I enjoyed both books 1 and 2 and I was really hoping everything would get tied up as I don’t like cliffhangers so be forewarned that there is a 3rd book in this series.

I went into this book with a open mind thinking I would warm up to Cheyleigh but nope, she’s still a pill. That was cemented for me when she got angry at her sister. She took that situation and totally threw it out of proportion. She just likes to self sabotage herself and I got tired of it. Then there was more drama added to the drama that has already been created. The characters are all giving me a headache.
For me, this book was better than book 1, this is Cheyleigh’s POV and this is the story after Cheyleigh is sent home from the reality show that she is a contestant on! Pryce is upset and wants to make things right and he decides to pursue Cheyleigh. Will these two get their HEA? You will have to read this book to find out!
The story continues in book two. I fell in love with bookworm and reality star contestant, Cheyleigh. She is perfect for Pryce. Things heat up in this book when Cheyleigh is disqualified and sent home. You’ll find yourself not wanting to put this book down. A great read that I read as a reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review. No shortage of drama or chemistry. A great read.
As with book one, this novel too is a substantial read and again the author keeps the reader enthralled throughout. The story is full of drama, intrigue, sabotage, revenge, family issues and the romantic pursuit by the main male character of the main female character. In this section of the story, I do find myself becoming a bit put off by the main female character’s inability to believe in the main male character’s intentions. Again there is an over-arching theme in this novel about extremely strong supportive family and friends, along with holding oneself accountable to personal standards; integrity.
Enjoyable reading.

Can this sequel get any better than the first one? Yes, it can!!!
Drop whatever you’re reading and get into this series NOW!!!
I thought the first one was good, usually sequels don’t go as well, but I couldn’t put it down! I can relate so much to the heroine that it’s crazy ridiculous. The book pulls me in even further wth Pryce being literally the most perfect guy on the planet.
I don’t know what Thad’s planning, but all I know is it can’t be good! Now that he has an ally in his niece, how safe is our favorite couple going to be?
I can’t wait to read the third one!!! Except sadly, I have to… 🙁
Anywho…
GO READ THIS NOW!!!
You won’t regret it!
