I went looking for a man to spoil me. I ended up in way over my head. When I placed an online ad seeking a wealthy gentleman, I expected to snag a lonely old guy I could string along for some quick cash. What I got was Silas Stanton.Silas is no doddering fool I can scam. He’s gorgeous and he’s richer than sin, but he’s old-fashioned enough to know how to handle a young lady who deserves to be … deserves to be taught a firm lesson.
He’s not the sugar daddy I wanted. He’s the stern daddy I’ve always needed.
Publisher’s Note: Stern Daddy is a stand-alone novel which is the third book in the Dark Daddy Doms series. It includes spankings and sexual scenes. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

Lindsay is desperate and strapped for cash, so she puts and ad in Craigslist for a sugar daddy. She is playing a ditsy aspiring sugar baby and gets a response! Her Sugar Daddy isn’t what she thought she wanted, he’s a whole lot more than she bargained for. Silas is stern, dark and very dominating but does give Lindsay choices. Give over control to Silas or face jail time. We all know what Lindsay
chooses and boy does Silas take control. Lindsay is being taught respect, and how to have control over her own life but the lessons are painfull until she can learn to take charge of her finances and respect those that serve you. There was some hot sex and painful discipline, but Lindsay is learning very well and quicker than even Silas thought she would. The couple have a strong attatchment to each other but Silas has a darkness that he doesn’t share with Lindsay other than to teach her and correct her.
I enjoyed their story and how well they got along in spite of Lindsay’s resistance and Silas’s secrets. There is a great epilogue to complete the whole story in the end that made me smile with satisfaction. An excellent read that I recommend, the daddy part isn’t overly done and easily accepted by the reader.
Book 3, Dark Daddy Doms. Secrets, trauma, dominance, submission, and mystery…Ava Sinclair rocks this series finale!
Lindsay Ann Clement has a huge problem. She just can’t stop herself! A handbag here, some makeup there, shoes, clothes…whatever catches her eye, she buys it, regardless of the cost. Self-indulgent? Irresponsible? Oh, yes! Impulse buying is her one true talent. Deeply in debt, she’s at her wit’s end. Then lightening strikes. Craigslist! What harm can it do? Place an ad for a wealthy, older man to be her sugar daddy! It’s inspired, or so she thinks. Silas Stanton’s the perfect target…rich, old-fashioned, much older. As Lindsay plays “Lindsay Sue,” a sweet, innocent, young thing looking for an older man to guide her, she’s no idea what’s she’s just walked into. Despite the emails, photos, and texts exchanged, Silas upends her life with just one meeting! Oh, he’s every bit as rich and old-fashioned as she wanted. But old he’s not! He’s devastatingly handsome, over-the-top disciplined, and dominant in the extreme. Worse, he sees through her charade in a millisecond. As Lindsay prepares to run, she’s stopped dead in her in her tracks. Silas knows the one secret that will destroy her. Just like that, Lindsay’s life’s no longer her own. Silas is willing to keep her secret, even be her “sugar daddy,” for a price. The question is, can Lindsay pay it? As Silas lays out his demands Lindsay’s horrified, angry, intrigued, turned on, repulsed, and irresistibly drawn to this man. Is Silas actually serious? Teaching her financial responsibility is one thing. Everything else? Is he out of his mind? But Silas has secrets too, and those secrets cripple him. As these two dance around each other, a devastating cocktail of anger, disbelief, desire, and deep attraction sends them on a roller coaster of emotions neither has ever experienced. As a glimmer of hope peeks through the confusion, catastrophe strikes, leaving Lindsay shattered and Silas devastated. Was this all a mistake? The misunderstandings, lies, and the mistakes of the past seem insurmountable. There’s only way to fix any of this. The question is, can either dig deep enough to find the soul-deep trust required? If not, these two have no future!
Lindsay isn’t at all what you’d expect. An average young woman, raised in a middle-class family, not rich or extraordinary in any way, she’s an entitled, spoiled brat who’s thinks life owes her everything. Her actions have no explanation. Her irresponsibility, her easy justification of conning an older, wealthy man because she wants an easy way out certainly win her no sympathy. Silas is rich, disciplined, absolutely in control of every aspect of his life, the very antithesis of everything Lindsay is. Or is he? Appearances are often deceptive. It’s evident Lindsay’s crippled by her selfishness. But Silas is just as paralyzed by his deeply hidden past. He’s chained to patterns of behavior so deeply ingrained that he isn’t even aware they exist. At opposite ends of the spectrum, what could these two have in common? This is where Ava Sinclair shines. She takes the strands of disparity between these two and intertwines their differences into a story of incredible beauty and depth. Despite her flaws, Lindsay’s a beacon that attracts Silas as inexorably as a moth to a flame. Silas’ strength, dominance, and strict disciplinarianism are a magnet that pulls Lindsay into his orbit and anchors her there. While confusion and uncertainty reign on both sides of this equation, this is exactly what makes this story so compelling! I was captivated from the moment I started reading. Congratulations, Ms. Sinclair! You’ve once again shown just how versatile and talented you are! Stern Daddy deserves nothing less than five stars! I absolutely adored this book!
One final note. Be an informed reader! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the author. She works very hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to the book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
