This is a fun, lighthearted romance that’s perfect for a vacation.
Jenna and Shane are the perfect match, but Jenna isn’t convinced that she wants to remain in a rural, small town. Can Shane convince her to stay? Will he be enough?
Romance – Steamy PG / lots of kissing and thoughts lean toward the physical
Language – PG / clean
My rating – 4 star
Shane is the fourth book in the Cowboys of Ransom Creek series. I never fail to be pleased when reading a book by this author, and this was no exception. I really enjoyed it.
Just a fun book- I love this author and she never disappoints. She writes a clean story that is still lots of fun and a good read.
Shane by Debra Clopton
Cowboys of Ransom Creek Series Book Four
Shane Presley thought he was just fine in his single state. He’s happy for brother who recently married but he wasn’t ready. Or so he thought. Too bad the girl he stopped to help is already engaged because just meeting her sure changed his thinking.
Jenna Emory is a big city kind of girl. Not a small-town girl. She finally has an opportunity to go visit her aunt in Ransom Creek to let her know in person that she appreciates her aunt’s offer to partner her in B&B and junk shop, but no way will she ever fit in a small town. Even when there are such handsome cowboys like the Presleys around.
Loved the story. If you cry at stories, you may want the tissue box handy. Looking forward to reading about the rest of the Presley brothers finding their happily-ever-afters.

What’s not to love with Shane Presley?? Handsome, cowboy, considerate, thoughtful, lovable!! City girl Jenna is not looking for romance in a small town but she is a caring niece who wants to be closer to her aunt. She might consider a Texas city but not a small town. Debra Clopton has written another sweet, wholesome romance with Shane! I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance! I received an Advance Reader e-book of Shane from the author. This is my honest opinion.
I am enjoying this Cowboys of Ransom Creek series! However, if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series, don’t worry. You can jump right into reading Shane with no problem, as it can stand on its own.
This book is sweet, romantic fun! Shane and Reese find themselves very quickly attracted to each other, yet it seems like an impossible situation. Reese is determined that she is only visiting the small town that Shane calls home, even though she is drawn to Shane like she has never been drawn to any man before.
Their romance is swoon-worthy and so much fun to watch develop. The decisions and risks to their hearts that these two took made this a story that I loved reading from start to finish.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions were my own.
If you are looking for a clean Christian romance that is sweet and entertaining, this one is for you.
We are back in Ransom Creek , the home of the handsome Presley brothers . This time, it’s Shane’s story.
Jenna Emory , has been dumped by her boyfriend in Seattle and decides it’s time to visit her aunt Sally in Ransom Creek. On her drive to her aunt’s, the rain and treacherous weather causes her to lose control of her car. Thankfully, she is rescued by Shane. The attraction is immediate but they attempt to ignore it. Jenna, because she’s just off a bad relationship and has no plans of moving to a small town. Shane, because he thinks she’s engaged, and besides, he knows that small town living is not what Jenna wants.
It was fun to watch these two interact. As well as spending time with the residents of Ransom Creek, that even though are very nosey, are also endearing. It’s also a reminder that dreams can change when you least expect it and frequently for the better.
I was gifted this ARC copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
