A wild, sexy, and heart-filled adventure of two strangers who meet in the most unlikely of places. This laugh out loud and heartwarming romantic comedy from bestselling author Meghan Quinn will keep you on the edge of your feet as you fall in love with the second book in the Dating by Numbers Series. CAN BE READ AS A STANDALONE I don’t know what love is anymore.Well, that’s not entirely true, but … anymore.
Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark.
You know the kind of spark I’m talking about?
Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark.
Except I haven’t felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me.
Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem–but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right?
That’s how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase.
It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That’ll be a breeze. I’m a pro. I can handle this.
Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I’m doing taking a shower in his bathroom.
I don’t think calling it “research” will get me out of this mess.
But it will make for one hell of a story.

This book was freaking AMAZING!! It had me cracking up at Beck and Rylee’s interactions at the wedding, swooning with their phone calls, and in tears when they were faced with discussing their demons. Beck is everything you want in a hero. Sweet, sexy, alpha, and enough stubbornness to outlast his woman’s stubbornness . I love Rylee’s character. She was fun, strong, and sassy doesn’t even begin to describe her.
This book sucked me in from the beginning, and had me devouring. A phenomenal must read!!
*5 Stars*
ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.
Meghan Quinn does it again! In the follow up move, to Three Blind Dates, Megan takes us on the journey of one of the two remaining suitors from that book, and boy is it one hell of a ride. Also, cue the swooning.
The two main characters meet by chance because they’re both convinced by their friends to come along and crash a wedding they’re attending.
Of course, once they meet, the following story ensues with a tonne of hilarious banter, with a glimpse of some angst underneath that both character feels within themselves. I guessed one of the secrets and the other I was fairly close to, although there were more ideas running through my head with that one.
This book is very light hearted and fun to read until the last part of the book. Part 4. This is where everything comes to a head and oh my gosh there are a lot of feels here. I was holding back the tears.
I loved the banter between the characters, and the feelings they inspired in each other. I loved the secondary characters (here’s to hoping some of them get their own novels too), and this whole storyline was just a huge amount of fun. I loved everything about it and the ending was perfect.
Highly recommend this one and can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next book in this series!
I have to say that this story turned out to me so much different than I expected. In my mind, I thought it would be focused around the wedding itself. But, this story was about a journey between Beck and Rylee. Unbeknownst to Rylee, Beck had watched her on their flight to Key West. And when they have a chance run-in when they get to Key West, sparks start to fly. What starts out as a vacation friendship turns in to so much more. But how do you navigate something like that when you live 3,000 miles away? Both of these characters tugged on my heart strings so much. They have complicated pasts and they are hesitant to believe that a chance meeting on a small island could amount to much more. It was so much fun to watch them as they return to their homes. It’s such a sweetly emotional story. So hilarious too, which you would expect with Meghan Quinn. 🙂
Two Wedding Crashers by Meghan Quinn is the second standalone romance in her Dating By Numbers series. An amazing and full story of two people with pasts and secrets that meet in Key West, take some risks, have some fun, and go their separate ways only to be pulled back together again my the emotions that developed in their brief few days together.
The story is complex without being complicated, intricate without being messy and funny while also being extremely emotional. Being fairly new to reading this author I absolutely adore her writing style. The quirkiness of her characters, the depth of the story but also the funny moments that keep it from being too angst-ridden.
Beck is a fun-loving, carefree seeming guy that just truly enjoys his days and all that life throws at him. An artist with a dark past and deep secret he lives for today and with care for other people.
Rylee is a little more uptight. A romance author who has lost faith in the concept of love, she finds Beck a welcome distraction that she tries not to enjoy but with his persistence and charm can’t help but fall for. But Rylee also has a secret of her own.
Can Beck overcome her secret and can she look past his dark secret? I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Well-written and NOT a quick read. Definitely one you want to settle in for. Enjoy!
There is no doubt Meghan has a way with words. She always manages to give you a solid story, adds in some seamless wit and a good slab of dirty bits. I mean nobody can deliver a comment of “taint to toe” quite like she can.
I think maybe Rylee was more in love with Beck than I was, so this one didn’t have the grab on me that her books normally do, but it will not stop my “saucy” love for all of her words.
That is the beauty of a great author, just because the characters don’t “speak” to you doesn’t mean you still don’t fall face first into the story and come out on the other side having enjoyed it.
So, seriously, I am in love with Beck. Yep. Adore him. Want to have his babies. Err . . . is that weird? I mean I’m forty-nine so it’s not too late, right? Even if he’s a fictional character? LOL
All right . . . simmer down. What I mean is Beck is what I’ve always envisioned as my perfect man. He’s smart, sexy, willing to take some risks and have some fun. Doesn’t take himself too seriously, but knows exactly when to be serious. Did I also mention he’s sexy AF? *sigh*
And Rylee. Man. She’s so very relatable. She’s fun and crazy and loves having fun with her friends. She’s had a horrible year, and is suffering from a crippling case of writer’s block, but she’s not letting that stop her from trying to enjoy life. Trying to live every day to the fullest, especially now.
I loved Rylee and Beck together. Loved their antics. Their fun. Their banter. Their craziness. Their sexiness. Mm. Yeah, give me a sec to cool down over here with their sexy times running through my head.
At any rate, Two Wedding Crashers is everything I expect in a Meghan Quinn romantic comedy—amazing characters, fantastic banter, wildly fun situations, but also a whole lot of heart. And ultimately, that’s what I love the most in this book—the heartfelt love and romance between Beck and Rylee.
Laugh out loud, romantic and perfect getaway! I wasn’t fully convinced on the hero, but he definitely grew on me.. the story was a page turner for sure! I could have lived without the big conflict on part 4, but I was glad about the outcome and the happily ever after?! Can’t wait to see what’s next in this series
I have to say, this review isn’t the best, I can’t do this book justice, nothing I write could begin to express how much I loved it, how much it meant to me to spend time with these characters. It’s beautiful.
I loved Three Blind Dates, loved it, however, this book, this book is better. Yep, I said it, the second book in the series is better than the first. GASP! *Insert shocked face here* It’s a complete standalone. Meghan Quinn takes a funny storyline and makes it so much more. The way this book is written makes it so special. I expected the humour, I didn’t expect the emotional connection. This is a romantic comedy, it’s hilarious, I’m talking laugh out loud funny, what I didn’t expect was to cry, and by cry, I mean sob. Why you ask? Without going into too much detail… because, spoilers, it’s because I can relate to Rylee and what her thought process and feelings are so much that it’s just instinctual to cry – for her, for what she’s going through and for myself. More often than not a subject comes up in a book and a quick fix is used to get the couple their HEA, that wasn’t the case here, Meghan went and in just a paragraph, maybe two, showed the obstacles and restrictions they would come across and I adored that, it was real. She didn’t just give them the HEA without showing the difficulties it could and would involve, but, before you hit those panic buttons, it does include a HEA.
We first met Beck Wilder in Three Blind Dates, he was The Rebel. Although I liked him well enough, he wasn’t my choice in that book. Clearly, I knew he was destined for bigger and better things. He is perfect for Rylee and she was perfect for him. He’s sexy and funny, he’s sweet and endearing. I dare you not to swoon over him. He was just, sigh, he was lovely. The final few chapters just, wow, it was a swoonfest. His outlook on life is refreshing and made for an interesting backdrop to the storyline, his backstory was eluded to but took time to come to light, I really liked that about it, and once it did, his insecurity over telling Rylee was an important part of the story. Rylee Ryan was such a fantastic character, I think so many people are going to be able to relate to her. At one particular part I was sobbing and shouting ‘I see you and I hear you and I feel you. I GET IT!!!’ of course, as more details came to light it was different, it became something more than even I thought it would, it was heart-breaking. She is brave, sweet and funny. Beautiful, and strong. She’s the type of person you can imagine being friends with.
Their story is one of beauty. It’s funny and sexy, and sweet and full of acceptance and understanding. It’s also heart-breaking and uplifting. It filled my heart with happiness and I didn’t want it to end. I loved that is was more of a slow burn and we really got to experience their relationship change and grow as time went on. The banter between Beck and Rylee was pure perfection, it worked really well and fit the characters perfectly. The sexual tension between them was palpable and made it even sexier when they finally did get together, steam level – off the charts. I liked that the conflict between them didn’t last too long, and it wasn’t drawn out. It had its place and good reasoning, it wasn’t just for the sake of it. The supporting characters in this book are wonderful, honestly, I want books for all of them. I want more from Victoria, from Griffin, I want Chris and Justine’s story, I want Zoey and Art’s story. They’re the greatest friends a person could really ask for, I’m kinda jealous. They were all so meaningful and memorable that you can’t help but wonder what their stories would be.
This is the second book in the Dating By Numbers series. I highly suggest you read Three Blind Dates first. We do get Beck in that story and he talks a little about his time with Noely in this book as well.
I will admit, the first chapter of Rylee’s was slow for me. It wasn’t because of Rylee. It was all Victoria. Don’t worry, Victoria Grew on me.
I absolutely love Rylee. She’s quirky. She’s gone through a lot in the past year. Don’t worry, you do find out what happened later in the book.
Her friends want her to get her spark for life back. And what better way to do that than to go to Key West and crash a wedding!
Beck, I loved him in Three Blind Dates. I knew there was something heavy that he was dealing with. I will admit if I had known what that was from the beginning of the story, I may not have given him a chance.
But, we got to know him first. You can tell he has changed, for the better.
He is a great guy.
He also got dragged along to Key West to crash a wedding.
The first meeting was great. It was hilarious.
The time together in Key West, amazing.
Crashing the wedding…funny as hell. The stories they told will have you laughing so hard.
I want be Rylee’s best friend!
This is a fantastic rom-com that you don’t want to miss out on!
I didn’t realise before reading that this book was part of a series but it made absolutely no difference whatsoever because they’re all stand-alones (yay!)
I’m a fairly new reader of Meghan Quinn’s but she’s fast becoming a firm favourite. She writes a romantic comedy like no other. Her characters are extremely likeable and the story had me hooked. Beck is just the sweetest guy. He’s got a past he’s ashamed of but he’s trying to be a better person. There’s a feeling of unworthiness behind his up for a laugh exterior that I loved and he was nothing at all like I was expecting.
Romance author Rylee was very easy to relate to. Suffering from writers block she’s doubting herself. So when her friends convince her to crash a strangers wedding, she’s hoping been around all those loved up couples will help her get the words flowing. When her vacation gets off to a rocky start, she’s no idea how much of an effect her sexy new neighbor is going to have.
There’s something about Rylee and Beck that I couldn’t help loving. This book was so much fun to read. It’s sweet, funny, hot, got the best characters ever and I devoured it. The characters, the story, the little details that make a story/character that little bit more special are all written brilliantly. Can’t wait for more from Meghan Quinn.
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, and I just have to say, this book is hilarious! For the vast majority of the time I was reading, I was practically rolling around, in tears, laughing so hard! The interactions between Beck and Riley, right from the beginning, had me laughing out loud!
Beck is an artist, who is convinced by a couple of friends to go with them to a wedding that he isn’t invited to. He seems to be a little down, maybe a little depressed by life, and they are looking to cheer him up. Likewise, Riley is also convinced by a friend to accompany her to a wedding that she isn’t invited to. It becomes a running joke, that has hysterical results!
Beck has a past. One that he isn’t really proud of, and doesn’t want to share. Riley also has secrets that she doesn’t want to share. Their vacation fling produces some pretty intense feelings, but doesn’t look like it can lead to anything more.
This book was an emotional roller coaster! Parts were hysterically funny, but there were also some tears. Hope, friendship, family, and the close relationships of a small town lend a feeling of nostalgia and warmth to the story. An interesting story line and fascinating characters guarantee that I will be going back to read the first story of the series! This was definitely a fun read that I’d recommend to a friend!
I was so excited to finally get Beck’s story! (I have been a HUGE fan of Beck since Three Blind Dates!)
Meghan did not fail to come through once again with the romance, the steaminess, the comedy and yes a bit of tears (at least on my part) with this story of Beck and Rylee. I also want to say that even though this book is a part of series, it can totally be read as a standalone, easily!
Beck was introduced to us briefly in Three Blind Dates, he was a rebel with a cause. But there was some things he kept close to the chest and didn’t want to reveal quite yet. It made me beg for more about him and we finally get just that with Two Wedding Crashers. We get to know Beck and love him all the harder for it. We see his striving to be a better person and trying hard to love life but with a personal cross that he bears that is hard for him to put down until he meets Rylee. And I love his nickname for her! It’s spot on!
Oh Rylee, how I love this girl! She is so epically funny! She is smart, she is fierce and she has been through so much. I love how Meghan would tease us a bit through out the book at what she was hiding from Beck. Rylee finally comes clean with a powerful scene that will hit you in the gut and make you want to hug her close and tell her that is still whole and she is still worthy!
Oh and let me tell you! As always with Meghan’s stories, the secondary characters are phenomenal! Beck and Rylee’s friends and family rally around these two with humor, love and sassiness!
I love Meghan’s world of characters so hard! It doesn’t matter if it’s a standalone or a series, every book she writes completely takes you into her world and makes you a part of the community of her mind! Thank you so much for your words and stories Meghan! Don’t ever stop writing!
Go get a glass of champagne & get ready to go on a hilarious , sexy, fun ride filled with love & of course that Happily ever after.
Of course the book is totally appropriate for the Wedding season that is approaching us.
Beck was introduced to us in Three Blind Dates ( A must read book as well) but this is all his book.
Can totally be read as a standalone & soo happy we got his story.
I enjoyed how Beck and Rylee chemistry of both being super funny as well as the angsty tension of their sexual connection towards one another.
I have a new respect for Beck. He was more than I thought he was. Fell for him hard as well as I cried for him hard too.
Rylee, she is a woman like us wanting to be in love and needing that love to inspire herself in her writing.
Go get this book to find out if these two can truly make love work when they live coasts apart.
A One click Read!
Laugh out loud funny! Fun! Sexy! Incredibly romantic! Beck is a whole new level of swoon-worthy! Rylee is sassy and smart! Together they are sweet, tortured perfection.
“I’m all dried up, a shriveled vagina with zero ideas.”
Rylee: an author struggling with writer’s block decides against her better judgment to crash a wedding in Key West with her author friends, Zoey and Victoria, for inspiration.
“Turn down the sauce there, lady. I wasn’t about to ask you about porn. Jeeze.” I look around and then lean in. “So…..do you write porn?”
Beck: from Three Blind Dates (#teamRebel) just so happens to be crashing the same wedding with a married couple, Chris and Justine.
Deciding to have fun, Beck and Rylee weave tales of insanity to innocent bystanders trying to one-up each other. It is comedic gold! But if you are thinking that this is just any other comedy…..NO! IT IS MUCH, MUCH MORE! We finally discover what Beck is holding back, and it is a doozy! However, Rylee is also afraid to open up and my heart breaks for her. The road to their HEA is one journey you will be glad you took a chance on.
“Putt Puttin in our f*cking golf cart for pies.” “Putt Puttin’ for pies.”
The secondary characters are a riot and just as magical as our hero and heroine. I would seriously love to read more on Zoey, Victoria, Chris, and Justine. Oh! And the Knightly brothers….Yeah! Those guys are HOT! They all need a book.
So to recap, reading this book will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made.
Two Wedding Crashers is the 2nd book in the Dating by Numbers Series. We first learned of Beck Wilder in Three Blind Dates. He was Rebel With A Cause. A phenomenally good and funny book. (A MUST READ). So, I was so happy to see that he got his story this time.
If you ask me Meghan Quinn is the queen of writing crazy good. She really knows how to write about these crazed women. Her female characters all seem to have a little crazy in them and Rylee might be one of them.
Rylee, Victoria & Zoey are all authors. Victoria writes Non-Fiction historical memoirs, Zoey writes children’s books. and Rylee writes erotic romances. They rally around when one of them has “Writers Block” and it seems that it is Rylee’s turn. Zoey decides that they need to crash a wedding to help Rylee. Oh, and Beck’s friends convince him to crash a wedding too.
This book is another LOL type of book. The shower scene was very good & I especially fell in love with Beck when he sends each of her friends and family around with a little note. That was so romantic! I hope I left that vague enough because you have to read Two Wedding Crashers.
I love Two Wedding Crashers and I now can’t wait to read Hayden’s story in One Baby Daddy. Hayden Holmes is (Ice Biscuit) “The Jock” and was one of the blind dates in Book 1 Three Blind Dates! I can’t wait to read One Baby Daddy!
Two Wedding Crashers is another one of Meghan Quinn’s Must Read books! 5+ Stars.
5 star review of The Wedding Crashers (Dating by Numbers #2) by Meghan Quinn
Where do I start.? Firstly this is a book I would happily give 10 stars to in a heartbeat; what a joy it was to read this story.
Book 2 in the Dating by Numbers is a stand alone novel that was brilliantly written and executed. I loved not only Beck and Rylee but all their friends. This is a group of people I could easily see being my friends.
There were so many snort and laugh out loud moments throughout this book that I was in danger of being locked up. I laughed so hard I nearly cried, not to mention I woke my husband up.
Each time Beck opened his mouth I seemed to fall for him more and more. Rylee was such a great leading lady she matched him toe to toe which was exactly what both of them needed to get themselves and Rylee in particular back into the land of the living.
Don’t get me wrong, this book was hilarious but at the same time Ms.Quinn handled several tragic and emotional events exceedingly well, with dignity and care. The regret and vulnerability Beck showed was heartbreaking to read at times and there were a few moments whilst reading that brought tears to my eyes.Throw in what fate had in store for Rylee and Two Wedding Crashers was at times like riding a roller-coaster, with highs and lows.
This is one of those books that you need to one click to experience the true brilliance of Meghan Quinn.
Cannot wait to read the third and final book in the series.
Where do I start and what can I say that hasn’t already been said about Two Wedding Crashers……..
Once again the very talented Meghan Quinn gives us another five star read, this author is surely the Queen of Rom-Com. This is book 2 in the Dating by Numbers series but I think it can be read as a stand-alone. Beck Wilder is the whole package he is hot, strong, fun and a little bit damaged, Rylee is strong, sassy and funny could they be the perfect match. I love this couple, the chemistry is off the charts, the banter flows, and I love that this book is told in both of their POV’s. I’m not sure what I expected for Beck and Rylee’s story but this book far exceeded everything I could have wished for, as always there was plenty of laugh out loud moments but this book is also a beautifully written journey about two people falling in love, this book also has some amazing secondary characters in Rylee’s close circle of friends and I hope they all get their own story. If you love rom-com please one click this book because this is a must read.
