Trying to move forward with my life, I’m putting the past behind me. Surrounding myself with my best friend and work, I focus on living life the way I want. That’s until fate steps in and shows me something that I never knew I needed. The encounter with Isaac was purely by chance. The date with Conner was very much planned. Both men give me more than I ever thought possible, and I’m beginning to … beginning to realize that I could never live without them. Our relationship is unconventional, but nothing else matters now that they’re mine.
The only problem is our pasts refuse to stay where they belong.
Mine threatens to rip apart everything I’ve fought so hard to overcome.
Isaac and Conner’s threaten to take away the life we’re slowly building together.
Even with all the obstacles and doubts around us, nothing will stop me from protecting the ones I love.

A decent start to a dark M/F/M series. A bit underdeveloped I read this book rather quickly and found myself wanting more.
Hot, Intriguing, angst, great characters, conflict, pasta coming back! What more could you want??!! Really enjoyed this book. Fast paced and jumps right in. Can not wait for the next one!
I liked this book, as it was an easy read. It was full of passion and danger. I enjoyed the love and respect that Riley, Isaac, and Conner had for each other, and I can’t wait to read more to see what happens next with this series.
Whoa! I did not see that coming at the end. I hate cliffhangers but luckily book 2 in on my kindle ready to go.
Riley, after coming out of a bad marriage is wary of men, she meets Isaac and later his business partner Conner and is attracted to both of them. Can she choose or can she have both?
They have a dangerous past and it’s catching up with them, will they all survive. This was not your average romance, but full of drama and heart stopping moments.
Great solid story line and characters that you love or love to hate.
Now on to the next tale in this saga.
Riley Blake is feeling frustrated and you can feel that coming off the page. If you’ve ever been in that situation, you’ll know what she’s going through. Cammie has a way of helping Riley get her emotions and other things in check. What surprised me was how quickly their friendship changed. Isaac Walton is able to turn an awkward situation around and it all happened with a little luck. He’s both a smooth operator and fast worker but Riley doesn’t seem to mind. Conner Davidson seems to be cut from the same cloth as Isaac and that’s not too surprising based on their history.
The further you get into this story you will need to decide if you need a window open or a fan handy because the steam heat that will be coming off the e-reader ~ mmm… What I liked about Riley was that she owns her sexuality – she doesn’t try to hide it or make any type of excuses. She’s very upfront about her preferences. I will say that Isaac appears to need a little nudge in that department. He seemed to expect Riley to figure things out on her own. And because she’s the one telling us the story, you know that she’s curious and frustrated – and we’re right there with her.
Sometimes a lot happens in the first book of a series but here you won’t mind the length because everything flows nicely – especially since the author adds in a little mystery and suspense. The book shows love in all its different forms so that’s something you have to decide if you’re comfortable with. If you’re a reader that likes the twist and turns that an author can come up with than it may be one you want to check out. If you’re someone that minds anything that isn’t vanilla than you will not want to have this in your library. The ending when it comes will leave you hanging and wondering what’s coming next – hanging on by my fingertips.
