Unacceptables: The Series Boxset

This sexy MC boxed set has it all – angst, steam, pulse-pounding suspense, and of course, happily ever afters!

First four books in the Unacceptabls series. Each is novella length with the same secondary characters throughout. I enjoyed getting to know the club members and the small town of Vilas. There is some club business, but the best part is the love & closeness of their family. Even though these are shorter stories they are not rushed, I was drawn in and will be continuing the series!!

UNACCEPTABLE

So going into this book at first I was a little hesitant because you know another step brother romance but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would. It didn’t have your usual type of drama that you think it would. So I was glad about that. But you know I also love MC books so it kind of won over that I would actually continue reading this.

So the book focuses on Cricket who finally gets the guts to leave her mum and goes in search for her dad and she rolls into Vilas and finds herself at the Uncceptables’ bar where she is only going to stop in and then in fact ends up staying and getting a job working in the bar.

Abel is the man she is attracted to almost instantly and before they are even really a thing he is hella protective of him. We got to see two sides of Abel the outlaw MC biker and then the sweet man who was a dad to his little girl Raine and I really liked how we got to see those two sides of the same man.

Cricket doesn’t half get a surprise when she walks into Abel’s kitchen and the man in there is her father. I liked that we didn’t get the oh no you shouldn’t be together your step siblings there was none of that which I was glad because that really annoys me in some stories when their very judgy. Cricket and Abel’s chemistry is amazing together and I really loved them as a couple. I also really liked how Cricket and Raine developed their relationship too and how much she was willing to take care of Abel’s daughter and I loved that.

Anyway the plot was very fast paced and quick and before you know it you do actually finish this book. My only complaint about this book is that it wasn’t long enough. I was so disappointed when it ended I could have read so much more of this book. There is also an ongoing plot with another MC going on through this that we begin to get details of.

UNSPEAKABLE

Okay so we have a time jump and we are focused on Raine’s book who is now 18 I think she was? I can’t really remember her age but she is now grown up and in love with her own biker Ryder. Although daddy Abel not a fan of that, he thinks his little girl deserves better and he gives Ryder hell for being with her. Eventually he gives in and realises that Ryder loves her and is willing to do anything from her.

Raine and Ryder were so adorably cute I loved their relationship and that she was always willing to defend it to her dad.

I really liked adult Raine and that she had her own mind but she also refused to let her dad say who she can and can’t be with. I love as she has gotten older she still has a brilliant relationship with Cricket and they are still close as an adult and she confides in her step mother about Ryder and Abel.

Abel is everything you think he would be as an overprotective dad the shit he puts Ryder through was actually hilarious. I did love that when he did finally accept Ryder it was a lovely moment between the two, especially as they worked together when it comes to the other MC that are causing them problems. (Again I cannot remember the name of this MC.)

I have to mention one of my favourite moments of this book and it was when Ryder is trying to sneak out of Raine’s bedroom and as he gets to the floor who is there waiting for him but Abel. You can literally feel Ryder’s heart sink and it was kind of hilarious. It was definetely a favourite moment in the book.

UNBREAKABLE

Damn this book destroyed me, things come to a real head here. Like it’s no longer lovey dovey couple time in the past book we got slightly more serious and this book it goes from 0 to 100 real fast and damn it broke my heart in the process. I did not expect the stuff that happened to happen.

So in this book we still carry on with Raine, Ryder, Abel and Cricket we get point of views from all of them throughout this book which I really enjoyed. Raine is about to enjoy her first pregnancy although it doesn’t go the way she expects when she’s kidnapped. I did not expect the plot to go the way it did, it shocked me.

And then the broken hearted happened, we discover later in the book that Abel knew what he was walking into when they were getting Raine back. He sacrificed his life for his daughter and his grandchild. He knew that it was never about hurting Raine it was about killing Abel. And he knowingly walked into the building where he knew he’d be killed to protect them. So that destroyed me.

I loved seeing Raine giving birth to her child and I thought it was even more special that she named the baby after Abel. I think that was the greatest compliment Abel could have gotten from his daughter. I loved Raine and Ryder’s relationship in this and how much they were excited about the baby.

I felt so bad for Cricket when she found out that Abel died and how sad she was my heart so broke.

I really enjoyed the story and it gave me all the emotions and I really liked seeing all the characters again.

UNTOUCHABLE

So I really struggled with this story so much. This will probably be the shortest review out of all four books. I liked seeing the other characters still popping up in this book but that was pretty much it.

I didn’t really like Trent could not connect with him at all and I thought he was kind of a dick. I just didn’t like him as a character. He seemed like a firework that could explode at any time.

I don’t really have a massive opinion on this book but I was glad when it finished. I just really didn’t like Trent which was my whole reasoning for not liking this book

This was not your typical MC book. If you want something hot, funny and unexpected this is for you. It’s got a lot of emotions and a roller coaster of a ride. You will love the rest of the series.

I love this series. I could not put this book down if you are into mc this is the book for you. You fall in love with the characters and you just want more out of them.

Unacceptable Review: This was my first read by her and I enjoyed this book. It was a quick read. I’m excited to read more of her books and to watch her writing grow. I’m ready for the next book in this series.

I really love this book!! It is packed full of action,love, heartache, and passion. I really love the characters from the main ones to the secondary ones. Abel and Crickets chemistry is felt as soon as they meet. This is a novella and I finished it pretty quick so if you want some that has everything that you can possibly want but don’t want a long book this is the perfect book for you!! My only complaint is the author has so much awesome material in this book that I wish she would have made it a novel!! Because I One I didn’t want this book to end and two like I said she had this book packed with so much high energy and information that she could have had a 5 Star novel on her hands here!!! But I still recommend this book!!!

I loved all the stand alone bevels so much I just had to have this box set for the additional chapters Kristen provides that helps wrap all of the stories together. Plus I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Untamed, Rave’s story! I loved how we got to see more of this enigma of a man and how he shaped the Unacceptables that you come to know and love in these books!!
Kristen Hope Mazzola has a way of writing characters that makes them very human and naturally draws you to them, even characters you didn’t initially like will change your mind!! Within these stories you will encounter stressed but strong heoines and strong alpha males who live and die by their code of honor. Family comes first, in whatever form it may be, and these characters will fight for their happiness every step of the way. As full of action and as they are steam, you will be in for a wild ride with this box set!

All of the Unacceptables at once. Yes, please! I loved each and every member of the MC. This is a great box set!
