Love the characters and the story line. Wonderful story of acceptance of self and others and healing.
What a great story and themes! I enjoyed the love beginning at 10 years old to the respect and maturity of the present. This is my second book that I have read by this author, she has a fan of her books and style. I recommend this book and the series as I will continue with the next book in the series, “Engaging the Enemy”.
The Billionaire Legacy was a great story, I enjoyed the journey with Benji and Sloan. Benji had been infatuated with his sister’s best friend since he was 10 and seeing her again once he was all grown up, gave him confidence to approach her and live out his childhood crush. Sloan no longer seeing her best friend brother as a little kid ends up having a one night stand with him and becomes pregnant with twins.
This was nice how the author picked right up where the last book left off at, it was also good to see some of the other characters from Savannah’s Secret. No doubt Parker was still being his hateful self I cannot wait for a women to get him tamed and get him in place. Another great book by Reese Ryan that will not disappoint you.
First. Let’s start with the cover, it’s cute and all, down right sugary sweet, but it ain’t a true depiction of Benji. And forgive me in advance if I go on and on about him, it’s not my fault if he was so well written :-).
The chemistry between him and Sloane is melt the words off the page good. The surprise she doesn’t reveal is a great hook to the story that provides the opening drama we’re all used to.
I like Sloane, she provides just the right amount of push pull to keep the intrigue at a level to keep us riveted. Her pointing out their differences kept me rooting for the couple’s success.
But Benji…Benji is.the.man! I was so on his side, mainly because he had an uphill battle to face, and who doesn’t like the underdog?
He’s also an Alpha, commandingly so. For real, don’t let the cover throw you off. It is correct in that he’s sweet, but Benji is by no means a pushover.
The supporting characters were blended into the book nicely, and they didn’t muddy the waters. They were fun to get to know, and they added to it nicely.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I also think you will as well. You won’t be disappointed, ‘I promise’.
This book was sweet and emotional. Unexpected pregnancy is always a intriguing read.
* Good storyline that progresses steadily
* Characters descriptions is good but for me they just missed that little piece that makes me go wow!
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Enough dialogues to make the story go forward without being to much.
* The love scenes is sweet and hot.
Great 4 star unexpected pregnancy romance.
One night … to parenthood! You might recognize a few of the names in this book if you read Reese Ryan’s previous Desire because they’re related to the folks at King’s Finest Distillery. This particular couple grabbed my attention quickly and the angst rolling off of them and in particular his family made for a really enthralling read. I loved their story! Fast paced, great characters and a well-developed story line.
When tech billionaire Benjamin Bennett had the opportunity for one night of passion with the woman he’s had a crush on since he was just a boy, there was no way he was passing that up! Six months later he still hasn’t been able to get her off his mind, so when he returns from his extended business trip, he goes to see her … imagine his surprise when he finds her pregnant with his babies!
Sloane Sutton knew that having a one time fling with her best friend’s little brother was not a great idea, but sometimes the best of intentions go out the window when desire takes over. Now he’s mad she didn’t tell him about the babies, his family thinks she’s a gold digger, and she just simply wants everyone to go away and let her live her life!
3.5 Stars
The Billionaire’s Legacy had it all—steam, sweet romance, surprise babies and a sexy billionaire set on becoming a family.
Ben always had a crush on his big sister’s best friend. Finally able to do something about it, he enticed Sloan into a weekend of sexy fun before leaving the country for work. Little did he know that their fun would result in a set of twins.
Sloan refused to ruin Ben’s life by saddling him with two babies he didn’t really want. But when he came back to find her and realized what happened, she couldn’t deny she really needed help.
Sloan and Ben had really good chemistry, and when they could relax and just be together they were the cutest couple. The way they were with their babies was adorable too. The thing was, though, that they each had issues of their own, plus a lot a baggage. The fact that they weren’t completely open with each other meant there was a lot of miscommunications which drove me totally crazy.
The drama brought by Ben’s family felt totally OTT and I wanted to slap the whole lot of them. Prejudiced buttholes are a personal pet-peeve, so I didn’t like them. Both Sloan and Ben worked hard at not making the same mistakes as their parents, but they went about it in isolated ways, speculating about the motivations and responses of the other. This resulted in more misunderstandings.
Fortunately, I loved the way the story was set up, and how we get to spend a long span of time with them, from the middle of the pregnancy until the twins are almost a year old. Witnessing those babies grow, and how their parents were with them was adorable, and balanced all other annoyances.
In the end, The Billionaire’s Legacy was a sweet, somewhat sexy read about true love, openness and the importance of communication. I really enjoyed reading it and it left me with a smile on my face.

Okay, Iconfess, I don’t care for billionaire stories. I’m not into rich jerks whothink they can use their wealth to get whatever they want. That’s not what The Billionaire’s Legacy is. BenjiBennett is the boy next door who made good. He is a kind, loving person whojust has grown up to be one hot, sexy man with the Midas touch. I bought The Billionaire’s Legacy because I fellin love with the Bourbon Brothers series. As the manager of an alcoholicbeverage store, the Bourbon Brothers series sounded fun. Reading the excerptfor The Billionaire’s Legacy hookedme on Benji and Sloan’s story. Sloan is thetough girl from the wrong side of town. In Magnolia Lake, everyone thinks theyknow your business, and Sloan couldn’t get away fast enough. When she and Benjimeet again, sparks fly. A one night stand turns into twins. Reese Ryanhas a way with characters. She has managed to create a hot, sexy hero who isboth sweet and kind but slightly flawed. She coupled him with an amazingly sexywoman who is both strong and vulnerable. While Sloan might be able to conquerthe world, being pregnant with twins has derailed her plans and brought her tothe place where she needs to rely on someone else. BenjaminBennett has had a crush on Sloan Sutton for most of his life. Can he convinceher that it’s more than a boyhood crush? Can their different plans and goalsfor the future blend together for a happy ending or are they destined to wonderwhat could have been? This is notjust another billionaire love story, this is real and you know these people.Welcome to Magnolia Lake, you won’t want to leave.
Nobody writes romantic conflict and twisty family dramas like Reese Ryan, and this book was no exception. Plus, that cover! I can’t stop looking at it. Fantastic book.
