“I never thought I could want anyone as much as I wanted Nash, then I met you”~RoyalWhen I was sixteen I was afflicted with a terrible curse…I fell in love with my straight best friend. I never thought I’d move past my feelings for Nash and find someone who could love me in return, until the day a gorgeous marine plopped himself down in my chair and asked me to ink him. I’m falling fast for … for Zade, but my feelings for Nash are still very real. When life starts getting complicated and Nash speaks the words I never thought I’d hear, the only thing I want is for us to find a way to make this work…together.
“What if I told you, you’d never have to choose?”~Zade
I thought I’d stay in the marines for life, that was the plan. But after a traumatic event I couldn’t make myself re-enlist when my contract was up. Confused and unsure what to do next I called up my best friend for a place to stay. What I didn’t count on was my best friend’s boyfriend practically throwing a sexy tattoo artist at me to keep me busy. Royal is everything I’ve ever wanted and his roommate, Nash, is starting to grow on me, too.
“A few weeks ago I thought I was straight. Now I’m sandwiched between two sweaty men. Can’t say I do anything half-assed.” ~Nash
Of course I’ve noticed that my best friend, Royal is crazy good looking. I have eyes, that doesn’t mean I’m into guys. Although, when I start to notice that his new boyfriend, Zade, is pretty hot too, that makes me start to question things a little. Not to mention the dreams I keep having of the three of us together. I’m willing to try if they are.
This is NOT a love triangle, just good old fashioned man-on-man-on-man love
Every book in the Heathens Ink series can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s way more fun to read them in order.

Another great Heathens Ink book. I loved the chemistry between Nash, Zade, and Royal! Seeing them find their way was so sweet. Liam was such a great character and I hope we will see him find his happiness in the future. Can’t wait to start the next one!
The second book of the Heathens Ink series is all about Royal, Nash, and Zade, one of my favorite threesomes ever. There’s some plot overlap with Rescue Me, the first book in the series, but this time we get to see those events from the point of view of Royal, Nash, and Zade. K.M. Neuhold handled the plot overlap very nicely, and it didn’t feel like I was being retold the same story from book one.
I loved this book – there was so much snark and laughter as the three men figured out their feelings and navigated their new relationship with each other. Also, the sex was so, so, so hot. The heat level between all three men was at bonfire level, and I adored every second of it. The last portion of the book had the men settling into the new stage of their life as a family, with a surprise twist from Royal’s past. I loved this twist and it made my heart melt.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
Poly-amorous relationships in books is not typically be go to trope, but after being introduced to Royal, Nash and Zade in Rescue Me and couldn’t wait to see where their relationship would lead. Royal and Nash have been besties since they were kids and have been know to share women in bed. Royal being bisexual has secretly carried a torch for Nash, but was afraid to tell Nash how he felt for fear of ruining their friendship. Little does Royal know that Nash was having feelings of his own for Royal. But with Royal being in a relationship with Zade, could Nash tell him how he felt? I thoroughly enjoyed the development of these men from friends to lovers and the connection and love was evident. The banter was fun, the sex was hot and the love shared was palpable.
This is the first time I’m reading a full length MMM novel and I must say I really enjoyed it. It’s a lot of fun to read about Royal, Nash and Zade and I loved it a lot more than the first book.
While this book is a standalone, I would recommend reading them in order, as it takes place in the same timeline as the first book. While Zade and Royal are too insta lovey, Royal and Nash have been bestfriends their whole life. But what I was most excited about was the dynamic between Zade and Nash. We can see them slowly fall in love. I love they all fit together like a puzzle. I was sorta afraid that I would love two of them more than the other but it was completely unwarranted.
This book has basically no angst with a shitload of sex. I’m quite enjoying this series and looking forward to the rest of the books. We also meet Liam, Royal’s half brother. I’m looking forward to his book too.
I’m a huge sucker for found family stories, so this was really great. I love how everyone at Heathens Ink is family.
Not as good as the first one. There’s a little in the beginning that almost got me to DNF! (Pov changes too fast between them and we have to read the same thing three times to get all three pov) I’m glad I continue reading it, because it is not the case throughout the book.
Looking forward to reading Adam’s book, think he’s going to be my favorite
The family dynamics of the friendships they have built upon, really are central to all of these characters. Royal, Zade and Nash are able to adjust, accept and roll with whatever comes their way. I love that.
This was worth waiting for. Zade had me at his first date with Royal. To witness Nash figuring out his feels for Royal and his attraction to Zade was beautiful. Plus, you have the surprise Royal gets during an adjustment time fore the guys. I love how the Heathen’s Ink family love and support each other as they continue to grow. Sweet precious Liam is probably going to drive them all crazy. I can only imagine how their home will survive Can Pippin. I have some theories about Owen. I can’t wait for From Ashes.
Loved these characters so much!
